Here is a thorough and informed biography that tells the story of Elizabeth’s public and private lives. It is geared toward young chapter book readers. Her life story is well told and engaging. I enjoyed the many photographs and illustrations that accompanied the text.

I am a huge royal follower and really enjoyed this biography of queen elizabeth. I've only ventured into following the older royals in the past year or so, and this book definitely introduced new facts to me. I especially enjoyed getting to know about her younger years before she was queen and the early years of her monarchy.

What a marvelous new series and a great book! An updated way to get kids interested in reading biographies that is fresh and exciting.

Really liked this biography of Queen Elizabeth. This novel gave the reader insightful details about her life. I recommend this for fans of royalty.

Queen Elizabeth II is a great non-fiction read with some illustrations to go along with it.

I adore reading about the royal family and the British line of royalty. Their lives are very interesting, so it's nice to jump into a book about them. This non-fiction book has some cheesy illustrations, but does a great job following Queen Elizabeth II's life. I highly recommend picking this book up as a way to introduce yourself to the royals.

When I read this delightful biography of Queen Elizabeth II, I learned that she was a remarkable woman. She was an excellent student. She kept an eye on her younger sister. She loved horses. During World War 2 she volunteered. The book has wonderful photographs of her in black and white as well as color. At the end of the biography, there is a quiz. There is a table of contents, a glossary and index.

I enjoyed the book as I learned so many things about her. There are many things that in the
United States that we don’t know about Queen Elizabeth or even how royalty “acts.” One gets to see all the responsibilities she has. It’s amazing! It’s a book that I think anyone would enjoy reading.

Let me tell you, I have read a lot of biographies, auto-biographies, and memoirs on royalty. My main focus has been Queen Victoria, her descendants, and historic & current royalty from all over the world. I have not limited my search of information on the topic having read books for kids, teens, and adults books on the subject. Add to the reading, binging every documentary on monarch history. I just find it fascinating. With that in mind, I went into this read expecting to just see how the book was designed for children and review a few facts. Imagine my surprise at actually learning A LOT about Queen Elizabeth that I had never even known! Yes, this book is written for youth, but it still exceptionally comprehensive.

The illustrations are beautiful including photographs and cartoon-like images with a pastel pallet. Extra features include: Quiz with answers in the back, index, glossary (which is exhaustive and illustrated), a Who’s Who (which we need when it comes to royalty), beautifully illustrated timeline, and family tree- also illustrated.

I would recommend this book to students working on research, it would be a remarkable source for reports! I also recommend this book to any young people interested in history, fairy tales and princesses. Finally, with the popularity of the Netflix series, The Crown, I believe the would be an awesome family read! Parents who enjoyed the Netflix series would love reading this with their children.

I was so disappointed, I really wanted to read this book. I was unable to send to my Kindle and download to read. I followed all the instructions in the help to no avail. Very disappointed.

A wonderful book for children and young adults explaining the life of Queen Elizabeth II. All aspects of her life are described in easy to follow quips. The artwork keeps your attention and the book is a page-turner. Young and old alike will love the book. Many details are easily explained from long-ago traditions to modern day changes. This is a historical work of the life of the Queen filled with fun facts and pictures. .
