Snare in the Dark
By Frank Parrish
1 Star
This is book 3 in the 'Dan Mallett Investigations' - crimes set in the English countryside.
I know the sometimes the English countryside gets a bad reputation for being dull and boring. It is books like this that create that reputation.
This book will help put you to sleep at night.
Book #3 in this very entertaining series featuring Dan Mallett, the local poacher who always seems to find himself in some sort of trouble. This time, he's the prime suspect in the murder of a local gamekeeper. With no idea of who the killer really is, Dan must investigate, counting on his friends and cohorts to keep him clear of the law. Frank Parrish has built the village with great care and populated it with "characters". Together the team will keep you chuckling as Dan races to find the killer before the law finds him.
Can Dan Prove His Innocence?
The third in the Dan Mallett Investigations series in which Dan becomes murder suspect one. Can Dan prove his innocence whilst in the run from the police? Enjoyable, cosy mystery with a fun and lively protagonist and a colourful cast of supporting characters. Very entertaining.
