I thought #MNGirl was all the things but A.M. Brooks blew it all to pieces and My #MNGirl takes top place, giving a new definition to mind-blowing Romantic Suspenseful Thriller.

Saylor has really grown into herself- it took the most horrific set of events for her to find her true self.

I seriously couldn’t love Ciaran anymore- his protectiveness towards Saylor made my heart swell and threatened to drown me. I freakin love their love!

AM Brooks is a master plotter and it is so easy to crawl into her masterfully crafted web. The threats to Rogue comes in wave after wave, from all directions with hardly a moment to recover- heart racing mind-blowing suspense and plot twist after plot twist!!

I wasn’t prepared for this ending even though I had theories up my sleeve. I remain trapped in this inescapable web so I’ll have accept HEA for now until the upcoming instalments in this series. I’m beyond excited for more of the Midwest boys!!

And absolute MUST READ book rec for 2020!!

5/5 MIND-BLOWING ALL OUT SUSPENSE

My #MNGirl leaves off right where the first book ended. It was at the tail end of a scene full of drama and action and instantly sent the reader right back to those feelings of fear and concern for Saylor and her family.

There is constantly a battle to uncover the mystery behind who wants Saylor's family dead. Every single turn it seems like there is some new attack or concern. But through it all, Saylor has Ciaran. He refuses to let her go, despite her need for distance in hopes of protecting him and her heart.

A super quick and emotional read! I can't wait for #SummerGirl to see how the mystery continues to unfold.

My #MNGirl by A.M. Brooks is an EPIC read that will join the ranks of the BIBLIO-ARISTOCRACY!!!

Perfect writing and an engaging storyline. I loved the pace and the chemistry. Many twists and turns. Perfect.

Well that certainly made my head spin!!!🤯. There is a lot to take in with this second visit with the Midwest Boys and Rogue team. The action picks up from book one and the body count keeps rising.... with very few leads it seems we are left with more questions than answers.
I really warmed to all the characters in this group, I was pulled in by the action and enthralled with the history of the parental group of friends.
I liked Ciaran and Saylors relationship, it doesn’t over power the story yet is still full of heat and passion.
Some parts were a bit slow and it takes a bit to suss out all the different side characters and their involvement, but when the action kicked in it had me turning the pages furiously!!
Still a lot of answers to be found and I am very intrigued to read Silas’ summer story😊

Take all my stars!! This book! Wow! A.M Brooks totally slayed Ciaran and Saylor’s story. The suspense, the thrill, and the sexiness...My #MNGirl had it all. Everything about this book was perfection. From the model on the cover to the intricate storyline. It has such a unique plot and I absolutely adored it. I can’t wait for more of those Midwest Boys.

My #MNGirl is the second book in AM Brooks Midwest Boys series. This series must be read in order starting with #MN Girl.

After the cliffhanger we got left with from the first book I couldn't wait to get my hands on this and it definitely did not disappoint. I INHALED this, it fully kept me on the edge of my seat with all the mystery, twists and turns and the chemistry between Saylor and Ciaran was even better than the first book I couldn't get enough!

This would off been a 5 Star read for me but the ending was so abrupt, I kept checking to make sure I wasn't missing anything, there's so many more questions that need to be answered. So it's safe to say I need #SummerGirl STAT!

A book that I couldn’t put down once I started reading it, it’s written with mastery and a literary skill little seen in this genre. Special mention to the fact that this books have Matt’s POV, something the first book didn’t have, centered in Saylor and Ciaran’s. Always attentive to details, Ms. Brooks brings to My #MNGirl an impeccable story, fast and pleasant to read, with more action compared to #MNGirl, its predecessor, and perfect narrative. A book that has everything to be a YA classic. Highly recommended for fans of this genre and the general public, this book sets the bar higher than the series’ first installment.

YES! This series keeps getting better and better! A.M. Brooks stellar writing is keeping me hooked on this series.She has me fully invested in the lives of the characters and her story building is insanely good. I can not wait to see what happens next!

After the dramatic ending of the first book, I knew this would be a thrilling ride but my god, I was not expecting this! The twists and turns full of bomb laden surprises will leave you slack jawed until the very last page.

I was already in love with the basis of the plot after book 1, but this book sold my addiction and I'll eagerly awaiting the next book in the series to find out what happens next. Any annoyance I had with a few of the characters was completely redeemed in this book.

Making this another short and sweet review as this mind blowing book needs to be experienced first hand.

#MNGirl was my first book by this author and I loved it - I even went back for a re-read before starting this one and oh jeez, A.M.Brooks smashed it!!!

Although at the start of the last book, the Midwest Boys annoyed me, they soon redeemed themselves! And in this book?....damn I want me a Midwest Boy!!!!
Saylor/Ariel is such a kickass, strong and sassy chick - she rocks and I love her!!!

The storyline is unique and I seriously seriously loved it, I was completely gripped from the very first page, right up until 'The End'! Everything was just perfect, the attraction, the friendships, the betrayal, the action, even the sexy scenes - all just plain perfect!

So can't wait for more....

After #MNGirl ended in a cliffhanger, I started on My #MNGirl as soon as I received the arc from Netgalley. I needed to know if Saylor's sister Mila had survived the brutal attack and who was behind it. But no, A.M. Brooks doen't give answers lightly.
In My #MNGirl more bodies start turning up and it looks like Rogue has a leak. We learn more about the past of Jason, Matt and Saylor's mum. And Saylor learns why Ciaran, Silas and Kai resented Saylor for months. But now they have to work together to find out who is responsible for the killings and they try to track Saylor's father, where this whole mess started.
Another story full of suspense, family ties and of course some romance. But in the end, A.M. Brooks just leaves you with more questions than answers. So, now we wait for the next one in this series. Hopefully one of the next stories will be about Kai or Silas, because those guys also kinda grow on you. Five out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

Here is sit at 2 AM with 4 pages full of notes....shocked. Ugh! I’m left I. Such a state after reading that. I loved it obviously. Ciaran and Saylor are beautiful together, like a well played song or a great movie. The suspense and things that just keep popping up are nail bitting experiences. I don’t know how the author has come up with something so exciting but she is brilliant. I had a hard time enjoying Silas in the first book but not I love him...his dad too! We have so many characters to follow it totally makes sense to keep notes and make sure I have them all straight.

This book was filled with action packed from page one, a lot was happening and this was seriously not an standalone book which is why I felt pretty lost but thankfully I catch up quickly and got into the story right away. The writing is good and the characters were well developed and likable although they're way too many characters with way too many subplots so you get a bit lost sometimes. Now, I didnt like the romance, possibly because now is full on and I have no connection with the characters and how they ended up together that I couldn't connect with any relationship but that's my fault. The story was a bit predictable at times which sucks because it does have great potential. I might go back and read the previous books and then reread this one, maybe I'll enjoy the story better then because now it was just okay.

Okay, I know, crazy! I had no idea this was part of a series!

After reading about these amazing characters, the suspense, the steam, I've got to read book 1 and be sure to be alerted when book three arrives!

This was an absolute page turner from an author I own two books from.

Looks like MS. Brooks is here to stay!

A.M. Brooks did not disappoint!! My #MNGirl was just as amazing as #MNGirl! I absolutely love Ciaran & Saylor’s connection. This story had even more suspense, drama, and angst that will leave you with even more questions! I can’t get enough of the whole Rogue family, and I’m excited to see what lies ahead!

Another absolutely exceptional book by A.M.Brooks!! Holy he'll am I impressed with this series! It is such a maze of plot twists and turns, with plenty of HEA!!

MY #MNGIRL BY A. M. BROOKS is book Two in the Midwest Boys series. This continues the story of Saylor and Ciaran, so you really should read the previous book '#MNGirl' before starting this one. This does pick up where we were left hanging. Saylor is processing the devastating news along with her feelings for Ciaran. Ciaran too is working through his feelings for Saylor and what he has been working for most of his life. This book and series is a total page turner. I would recommend this author's writing and of course this series.

I loved #MNGirl, the first book, and My #MNGirl did not disappoint. This book picks up where the first left off, and there are tragic circumstances. Saylor and Ci further cement the chemistry between them, but nothing is ever easy. There are twists, turns drama, love, hope, all meshing to create a well balanced and insightful story. Although I liked this story just slightly less than the first, it was fantastic with all the feels. I won't give anything away, but I'm a bit sad that some people and situations are pretty much wrapped up in the end. I know, however, that there are more great things in store and more characters to love in the next book, #summergirl. I highly recommend this series, and I think it is best to read the books in order.

After the disastrous cliffy of the first book , I was so eager to jump straight into this one! and what a book this one was !

The characters were definitely a lot different from what they were in the first book. Saylor was trying to keep her head above water after the sort of stuff that has happened to her . My heart really hurt for her , but at the same time I loved her bravery and courage ! then there was Ciaran!

I loved seeing him turn into a more more gentle person than the Raving asshole he was in the first book! I loved the way he handled saylor and never missed an opportunity to show her how much he loved her!

And then the end came and I left reeling again with another cliffy!! how am supposed to survive now! But in true A.M. Brooks style I know this author is going to make the wait of the third book worth it!! Definitely recommended to all the Dark romance / Bully romance lovers out there!
