This isn't a book to read all in one go. It's a book to dip in to, to ponder on, to make notes about.
It starts off with the author's story: why he changed his life, what he learned, what he missed, what he'd do different next time. He then moves on to a series of thoughts from his experiences.
He's quick to tell you that not all will be relevant to you: to pick and choose what suits you, what you need to learn or understand. And there is nothing mind-blowing here: if you have studied self-development before, much of this you may already know. But then it doesn't hurt to have it repeated, as many of us are guilty of knowing a lot but not taking action. If this is the book that inspires you to take action, then the author will have succeeded in his mission..
It's written in a conversational style so it's really easy to read. It's a book that you would be wise to keep by your side for years to come. No matter who you are or where you are in life, I think everyone could learn something from this.
