An interesting blend of history, alcohol laws, and cocktail recipes. I found it entertaining and like the mix of facts, historical information, and politics of alcohol in the U.S.

Fun idea but not anything new or special. A fun gift idea rather than a resourceful collection add. I don’t think I’d even remember this to make a recommendation on it.

This book would be of great interest to those interested in casually learning more about the history of drinking laws in the US, while enjoying a new cocktail. The cocktails included are representative of classic and unique drinks from around the country. While it won't be your go-to cocktail bible, it's informative, entertaining and provides insight into why alcohol and the laws around it are so varied.
