What kid wouldn’t love a graphic novel about an adventure in space? It was funny but also had bit of information sprinkled in. At the end of the book, there were a couple suggestions for kids if they are concerned with global warming. Looking forward to another My Weird School graphic novel!

I was aware of, but had not read any of the My Weird School series before picking up the graphic novel version. I was unaware of just how silly the series was...though kids are going to eat it up! I'm glad they were able to tap the original illustrator of the series for the graphic novel adaptation; the colors are fun and bright and the characters are as you know them already. Great addition for libraries where the original books are popular.

Any time a popular series is turned to a graphic novel, kids are excited. This will bring new life to a well-loved series and allow the excitement to grow again!

Love this series. I am so excited about this graphic novel! It was wonderfully done. Can’t wait to purchase it for our library and for students to read it. They will be so excited about this book. I know it will be a fast favorite. I hope there are more my weird school graphic novels to come!

This was the first My Weird School book I had personally read, and I was excited to see it was a graphic novel. My students love MY Weird School and graphic novels, so I thought it would be right up their alley. After reading it, I am now wondering if the other My Weird School books have the same inappropriateness and adult humor as the graphic novel did. I am going to check the levels of the other books and read a few before I continue to give them to students. This one I would not give to my fourth graders.

This graphic novel is a companion to the very popular My Weird School series. AJ in class are going on a field trip to see NASA. When they accidentally send a rocket into space, they have to find a way to get home. Kids who enjoy the silliness of My Weird School will definitely enjoy this graphic novel. The full color illustrations are eye catching and will definitely keep kids engaged. The story is very silly with a lot of puns and jokes both in words and pictures. This is sure to be a hit in elementary schools.

My students LOVE the My Weird School books! I know when they are given the chance to hold the continuing story of the graphic novel version they will be waiting in line to check it out!

AJ and his friends visit NASA and find theselves launched into orbit with Mr. Corbett - who keeps fainting when her realizes what has happened. AJ and the gang have to navigate space in order to make it safely home. This is a fun story, complete with fun illustrations. When I read the main series aloud to classes, the kids always clamor to see the illustrations, and now they will be able to see and read the stories more easily for themselves. What a brilliant idea; My Weird School in graphic novel format. Thank you, Dan Gutman, for continuing to give young readers just what they want and need to hook them into reading.

My weird school has been a popular series for students. This adds a new fun element to it. It was easy to read and kept the readers interest. I shared it with my own children and they loved it. Quick chapters with great graphics.

The Weird School series has always been in demand in my Media Center. Now, that there is a graphic novel will only add to the excitement. From the first page to the last, entertainment abounds. From the school staff pics, which include all positions of those who support the running of schools, to the hysterical questions critiquing the substance of the book, I couldn't stop laughing. I can only imagine the students' glee.
Above all, the message in the book was of overwhelming importance. The issue of climate change and environmental protections was explored in a manner the readers could comprehend. What was especially appealing was the message at the book's conclusion that everyone has it within their power to contribute to that change. The message to get involved was spelled out with the opportunity to contact agencies and groups that can help everyone.
Space is a very popular subject for young and older readers. This book explored space in an educational and humorous vein Learning about Neil Armstrong while laughing at the antics of the students in the space rocket serves to entice further learning.
What a great book! Can't wait for the next one!

I love that Weird School is getting a graphic novel series. And they are just as punny and fun as the other series. This is the first book where the kids end up launching themselves into space and must save the world from climate change. This is a great series. It works well as a high low book, a graphic novel, or just an easy chapter book.

I loved how successfully Dan Gutman managed to change his chapter book series into a graphic novel. It was still packed with laughs and it had the same kind of tone. It was very funny and I loved the character that was put into the books. It was a great read! This is the perfect book for readers ages 7-10.

My son is a huge fan of Dan Gutman and the My Weird School series, as well as comics, so when I saw this book I knew I had to request it to share with him. He loved the book and managed to read it in about 20 minutes. He stated that is was a funny book. When we often read these books together we use AJ as a "how not to act" character. I am sure some parents would argue that AJ is a bad role model. I am just happy my reluctant reader is wanting to pick up a book. Overall, I enjoyed the humor in the book along with the facts about space and global warming. I hope that Gutman has plans to write more graphic novels because this was very well done.
