As a parent to two boys (ages, 3 and 6) and five dogs, it is important that being kind to animals is taught repeatedly. My boys enjoyed this book, too.

Being Kind to Animals is a cute picture book with photographs to teach and show young children how to look after and care for animals and pets. This is a great early reader for children and a great idea for children wanting to get a pet of their own to look after and care for.
The back of the book holds some great resources too.

Being kind to animals is good for us and our world. This beginner reader book will teach children how to be kind to animals and why it is necessary. There are many good reasons but the best is by being kind to animals, you may make a new friend. The illustrations will spark conversations as your child seeing other children being kind to animals and what that looks like. The end of the of the reader will give parents and teachers reading reinforcements that build confidence and compassion.

A very nicely organized early reading book with an important message of being kind to animals. This would be great to have in the classroom or for parents to help their children with at home. The photos are sweet and help with the meaning of the words.

This book asks questions like "How can you be kind to animals?". It then provides answers to the questions. The questioning format is great for starting class discussions then comparing student answers to the answers in the book. T n e lesson plan ideas in the back were also very helpful.

I read this book with my daughter and she loved the beautiful photos of the cute animals. The book has simple words to explain to children the best way to care for and be kind to animals. At the back of the book there is a learning area which is very useful.

I really enjoyed this book!

The images were nice and bright and it had some excellent points and ones we need to be introducing to children at a young age.

My daughter is only 3 but she is learning all the time and is a bit of sponge, I think you can never be too young to start being kind whether that is to each other, to the world or to animals – this is a great series and this instalment is great to be used as a platform to discuss the topic in more detail.

It is 4 stars from me for this one – highly recommended!
