The best children’s nonfiction books can teach adults as well as children. This is a very good one and I learned quite a bit about the elephant seal. The photographs are outstanding!

This would be a fantastic report resource or extension for studying marine biology and/or extinction. It was well laid out, contained relevant information, and had good quality photos for emphasis and interest.

I loved this! This is targeted for ages 9-12 but I feel like it can be enjoyable for any age. I thought it was well thought out and had such cute pictures. I loved learning about the seals, they are just the cutest. I would recommend this for your child or just someone who wants to learn more about seals. This small chapter books allows your child to meet the elephant seal, learn about the seal and its life cycle as well as how the Elephant Seals are living in todays world. The short chapter book is packed with information. It also has very nice photographs. I think most children will love getting to see this quirky cute critter up close!
Great book for the classroom as well as any animal loving childs private collection.
