I love Kelly Siskind's writing style, and this book was no exception. Sweet, often hilarious, and ended with a satisfying romance.
Sweet and a bit cheesy. The information on DJing was interesting. I thought there was going to be more of a focus on Wes' fake relationship but surprisingly it really wasn't a big part of the plot.
Kindly received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
It says: " Two DJs. One beat. An off-limits romance neither of them expected."
No,not really. There aren't two DJ, just one. And one wanna be.
Off limits romance neither of them expected.
Again, no, not really... For years they been in love with one another.
From this you can see that I am not really a fan of this book. You are a okbsolutely right.
How can I be a fan, when I hate main characters.
I really do.
Annie, what to say about her... She jumps from job to job, she is almost 30, and she doesn't know what to do with her life... Ok, I know that people don't always have all their shit together by they are 30, but she is a winner.
One day, she wants to play a piano because she used to play, but she doesn't want just to play it, she wants to teach it. Altough she hadn't touch a piano for 15 years, and she played it for couple of years (two) when she was a kid. Yes, right.
Then she sees Falcon on the stage, and thinks Yes I want to be a DJ. And he is the best, he will teach me!
Yes, right.
Wes Is like every other main guy character broody and successful.
Don't let me start on a bunny!!!
Yes, I really didn't enjoy this. I couldn't feel their love and romance.all that wasn't there...sadly.
This isn't even 3 stars read. Such a snooze fest!!!
Thank you netgalley for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This was an emotional, sweet, comical romance with a fiery heroine determined to make her mark on the world and an upright millionaire seeking escape and penance from a painful past. There were sweet moments between Annie and Wes as they become best friends and their friendship births romance despite their attempts to squash it. I'm glad Wes took a chance at love and released his demons. He's a better person for it
