This book is fantastic and insightful. I am truly grateful for having the chance to read and review it. I have a dog who deals with pain a lot due to joint issues and the pages that share the signs of acute and chronic pain were extremely helpful. There is a ton of practical advice in this book and not just about pain. There is also great info on providing our dogs with the best life we can. Overall this was a great read and I recommend it to anyone who has a dog!

Has anyone ever told you how well dogs mask their pain?

Not acute pain from an injury or accident, but chronic pain. Pain you don't want your dog suffering through. Pain that you know you could ease if you recognized it, and had the tools to do something about it.

Enter Emotion to Motion: How the Mind Impacts Your Dog's Mobility by canine mobility specialist, massage therapist, and fitness professional Kate Titus.

Within 150 pages she shares with you the signs of acute and chronic pain that you can look for in your dog. Then she outlines how you can help your dog manage their pain. At the end of the book, she shares several practical and easy-to-use worksheets to help pet parents reflect upon how what they're implementing is affecting their dog.

While this book is written with senior and mobility-challenged dogs in mind, any pet parent who has a vested interest in helping their beloved companion animal age well will benefit from reading it.

The full book review of Emotion to Motion may be read on my dog blog, where I also share a video of Kate Titus teaching our Australian Labradoodles how to swim, the video of the virtual book launch, and a link to A Loyal Companion's Facebook page where Kate Titus hosts free mobility chats to further educate pet parents about how they can be helping their pets.

Thank you to NetGalley, Dudley Court Press, and Kate Titus for providing me with a free review copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
