Finding Wings is the third and final book in Deborah Raney's Chandler Sisters series. I haven’t read the first two but this one works well as a stand alone since it fills in the gaps of the first two in the story line. I loved the way the story line flowed and was real to life. It was a easy fast read and enjoyable.
I read a complimentary copy of the book through NetGalley and was not required to write a review. The opinions are my own.

I received a copy of the book from Netgalley to review. Thank you for the opportunity
A sweet and lovely romance with very likable characters. The story was relatable and realistic yet dreamy. I liked the writing and the family aspect of the story.
A good read.

This was a nice conclusion to the series. I enjoyed Britt' and Rafe's story. Though it was predictable at times, it was still a sweet Christian romance. I was touched by Rafe's relationship with his brother.. I also enjoyed getting to see what happened to Phee and Joanna. I also love how the author weaves in Biblical truths throughout the story.

I am going to miss the Chandler sisters and their Airbnb business. I enjoyed this finale of the series and would say it was likely my favorite of the series. Britt with her book club, airBNB management and the like, gave me so much I could relate to her about. I think the only thing I struggled with the series about was wondering if guys like the ones Ms. Raney created actually exist in real life. The story captured the hard parts of relationships without being overly deep, and was a happy read to enjoy this fall.

You'll enjoy a memory of how Brit and Rafe met for the first time and now for the second time! Unusual circumstances! The Chandler sisters are partners in their AirBNB but with Phee pregnant and on bed rest and Jo engaged, most of the work is falling to Brit! You will admire how Brit and Rafe manage to explore their interest in each other despite Brit's sisters and Rafe's responsibilities to his "ma" and brother. Families are wonderful but they can also cause complications. I enjoyed this third book in the Chandler Sisters series by Deborah Raney and recommend it to others. I received a complimentary e-book through NetGalley. This is my honest opinion.

Finding Wings wraps up the Chandler Sisters series. Britt really came into her own here and I loved getting to know her! She wanted so badly to find her place in the world and was a little jealous of her sisters for the men in their lives and especially for knowing their purpose. Yet she was so unaware of the value she had and the way she always seemed to make the lives of everyone around her better.

Britt and Rafe had met before, but neither of them remembered it right away. I had forgotten the details of that meeting (from Reason to Breathe) which wasn’t a problem because the reminder was enough that I was able to recall the details. I remembered thinking at the time that something would come of that meeting. Yep. I nailed it!

Rafe was quite a guy! He cared so well for his mother and his younger brother despite guilt and pain. And frankly, despite the fact that he shouldn’t have had to care for his Ma as he did. These things just caused me to melt, though! He feared letting anyone into his life and his heart, assuming that they would reject him once they saw what his life was truly like.

One of my favorite things about Rafe was his ability to quote Mark Twain. And how fun it was how so many circumstances called for these quotes! Then for Britt to realize how many adages she knew were also by Twain…

It was super sweet how Rafe was able to get past his childhood trauma! The perfect storm of having everyone in just the right place at the right time made it possible.

All the details from the entire Chandler Sisters series wrapped up neatly in this finale to the series. If you enjoy Christian romance, this sweet series is one you will want to read.

Deborah Raney is one of my all-time favorite authors and she continues to be a truly great story-teller in this third in the series of the Chandler sisters. Loved this book & the continuing story of the sisters and their bond they that has formed even more while caring for their dying mother. The two older sisters, Phylicia and Joanna, have gone on to have successful lives while Britt seems like she is stuck on hold. When she finally feels like she starts moving forward, her sister gets put on bed-rest to finish out her pregnancy & Britt again become the caretaker. How and who will help her to move forward?

Thanks to NetGalley & the publsher, Kregel Publications for an advanced copy of this book to read. This is my honest and unibased opinion.

Finding Wings was a wonderful wrap up to the Chandler Sisters series! If you haven’t read the first two books, you can probably jump in and enjoy this one. Just know that Britt’s sisters’ stories are the focus of books one and two and all main characters from those books also appear in Finding Wings.

I loved Britt and Rafe’s story. It was so unique! These two ended up being the ones responsible for taking care of family members. Their individual schedules were so full that it was hard for Britt and Rafe to even find time to go on a date together. I loved the way that they ended up getting creative in the way they got to know each other.

Rafe had a very emotional backstory and even as an adult carried burdens and guilt related to things that had happened when he was a child. He was such a great character and a perfect match for Britt. Their personalities really worked well together and it was so fun to watch their relationship develop.

The interactions between the sisters were enjoyable to experience and it has been fun to watch as new members have been added to this family with each novel released.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

This is the first book in the series that I have read. Even though I haven't read the first two books I still felt like I got to know Britt's sisters, Phee and Jo from the previous two books. I think I like it because it reminds me of my own life with my two sisters. I liked how Britt and Rafe made time for each other by doing things with each other and their respective families instead of just dating. They all grew together as a family. Rafe and Britt both had to work to overcome stuff in their pasts to give them a future together. Finding Wings is a good story of discovering who you are and moving on from there.

I became hooked on Deborah Raney's books, when I read her Chicory Lane novels, and I have loved her Chandler Sisters series as well! "Finding Wings" is the last novel in the Chandler Sisters series and I was sad to see it end, but loved how it ended. Also, there was a shoutout to a character from her Chicory Lane series and I am hoping that there may be more novels to come that will mention the Chandler girls and their families!

Britt is the youngest Chandler sister and feels like she has had to put her life on hold, has had to live her life revolving around her older sisters' lives. Not that she doesn't love her sisters or do anything for them or that she doesn't love her role with their Airbnb adventure, but she feels like she may be missing out from doing something else. Rafe met Britt years earlier when he responded to a frantic call made by her and it happens that he is the one to respond to her call now when her sister is struggling during her pregnancy. Britt is completely drawn in by his voice and his ability to calmly do his job and help; however Rafe felt anything but calm as it reminded him of a night from his past. As Britt and Rafe begin to talk and spend time together, it is a struggle to find the time with all of their responsibilities and also Rafe is not sure of what all he wants to tell of his family and his past.
Britt, Jo and Phee all are wonderful characters and they were so relatable for me. The three sisters are all so different from each other, but have their similarities and their sisterly bond is enviable. I have enjoyed each of their stories as their true personalities shown through and also at the same time the others sisters' stories continued on in each book. I was sad to see this series end and hope that there will be more stories that will have will have some scenes taking place on their property perhaps. This is a story that will help you to realize that you are who you are and where you are for a reason and God is with us through all of the highs and lows.

A heartwarming conclusion to the Chandler Sisters series! This time around it's Britt's turn to find her own path to love and life dream. All the sisters are involved in the Airbnb property still, but life gets complicated leaving Britt feeling like it's up to her to shoulder the burden and keep it all going.

"It seemed like her whole life had been spent waiting. But now, she had something worth waiting for."

The characters are so well rounded, with problems that many can relate to, that it feels like they are real people. I would love to be a fourth sister just to experience their true sisterhood, supporting and helping each other through all of life's ups and downs. The plot was interesting, with a special needs sibling, financial problems, a health crisis, and job responsibilities making it hard for the main couple to even get to know each other. I like how they mixed work and play, and learned to trust God through it all with the details of their lives. The idea of letting go of our past mistakes and burdens of misplaced guilt, giving them to God, was an important spiritual theme that popped out at me. So often we needlessly carry things around from year to year that hinder us from growing and loving others.

The romance is a reacquaintance that seems to go from a spark to flame fast, but it is realistic and has a beautiful, sighworthy ending. I was in a bit of a book hangover after the last page. I loved this conclusion to the series and am sad to see it end. It would be lovely and fit the time line perfectly to have a holiday novella to extend the series a bit. Pretty please!

Recommend reading the series in order to follow each of the sister's stories. A must read for for contemporary Christian romance fans! 5 stars!

"Why had it taken her so long to realize that finding her wings meant embracing life the way it was? In all its beauty, but in all its difficulty too. And recognizing that she had placed her life in God's hands, and it was He who allowed and orchestrated every moment. She'd simply had to learn to embrace what she'd already been given."

This is one of the best quotes from Deborah Raney's latest book, and I believe it sums up this story very well. When I came across Raney's book, I knew her name fell in the grouping of many of the Christian authors I like to follow and read. I don't read many contemporary romances, and after having having finished this book, Mrs. Raney has a fan for life!

Finding Wings is the story of the youngest sister, Britt Chandler, who struggles with being content in her place in life and the sacrifices made on behalf of family. Britt is romanced by Rafe Stuart, an honorable man who has past family regrets of his own. This book pulled on my heart-strings! Raney's subtle weaving explores the value of sisterhood and love within Britt's close-knit family and Rafe's struggle of wanting his own small family to share more of the honesty and closeness he sees in Britt's family. I cried and cheered for these characters as they overcame family and personal obstacles with their faith in God, hope and love for each other and love of their very different families.

This is the third book in this series and can be as a stand-alone book. I will definitely be going back to read the other two books of Britt's sisters and see how their stories unfolded.

I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for my honest reviews.

I absolutely loved this book! It featured the youngest sister, Britt Chandler.

Britt thought that she was in a place where she did not have dreams of her own. She took care of her dying mother some months ago and now that her oldest sister, Phee, is bedridden because of a difficult childbirth, she feels even more dreamless. What was God teaching her? What was she designed to do with her life?

Because of a 911 call when Phee was in danger of losing her baby she talked to Rafe Stuart and was very much attracted to Rafe's calm demeanor and soothing voice. Britt had forgotten that years ago when she was by herself and heard a crashing sound that she had called 911 then and met Rafe, but life got in the way.

Throughout the story Britt doubts herself. She loves all her sisters, but feels that they are imposing on her life - that she has no life of her own.

I am so glad that Britt found the love of her life. There are some roadblocks along the way that would challenge Britt and Rafe. Rafe is also bound by family responsibilities. Britt and Rafe have so much in common with each other.

I have not read book # 1 in this series, but would very much do that. If you love stories that give you glimpses of family live (good and bad), this is the story for you.

This is the perfect ending to the trilogy of the Chandler Sisters! You could still read this without reading the other two books, but I believe the story is so much better knowing the backgrounds of the other two sisters, the cottages, etc. Britt has always done what needed to be done, but she is wondering what she will do when SHE gets to choose. I love the way she is brought to her decision. Such a great story of hope and love.

I love Britt's story. As always, Deborah Raney has taken on some difficult topics and created a beautiful story filled with hope. I've read all three of the Chandler Sisters books. Finding Wings resonates with me the most, perhaps because I'm the youngest child or because Britt is searching for her purpose. Deb tapped into the realities of being the youngest daughter and brought that to life. The family contrasts in the story add depth. I cheered for Britt and Rafe as they struggle to make time to get to know each other and care for family. There's also a beautiful surprise for Jo, Britt's sister. If you haven't read the series, I highly recommend it. Once you read Finding Wings, you'll want to know Phee and Jo's stories, too. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Deborah Raney winds up the Chandler Sisters series with a heart warming story.

It seems that Britt, the youngest of the Chandler sisters, is always making sacrifices. First caring for her mom, when she becomes sick and eventually dies. Then caring for her pregnant sister, who is on bed rest. Along with the maintenance of the Airbnb she and her sisters run. Britt tries to find her way, and her wings, for her life and future.

When Britt finds Phee on the floor in a pool of blood, EMT Rafe, talks her through the emergency and helps her until an ambulance can arrive. Enchanted by this hero, she meets Rafe and they try to find ways to get to know one another through their busy life schedules. Britt and Rafe's story is one of challenges and learning to understand each other. As they fall in love, will they trust God to write their story?

Deborah Raney writes with so much heart, she opens the door to your imagination. I loved the first two sister stories, and this one rounds out the series. There is some drama but in the end the love of family shows how sisterhood can be a beautiful loving thing.

I received a complimentary ebook copy from the publisher, through Net Galley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Finding Wings is the last in the Chandler Sister series. I am sad to see this series end. I loved all of the sisters. Deborah Raney's writing is outstanding. She writes her storylines and her characters in such a way that the reader can really relate. One knows their thoughts and their feelings just as if they were real and living their lives. With this last in the series, Ms. Raney pulls us all together. I have loved the character of Britt since the beginning. She is fun, lovable, but really lost. She isn't sure she will ever find her future and her everlasting. With the addition of Rafe, I found this to be my favorite of the series. Rafe and Britt's interactions together made me laugh, cry and believe that God does work in His time. He is working even when we feel that He has forgotten us. I have really enjoyed this series. I look forward to more from Ms. Raney. I received a copy through Netgalley. A review was not required.

The final book in the Chandler Sisters series is the story of Britt. I think I felt more of a kinship with her being the youngest sister and feeling as though she would never have her own happy ever after. Being the youngest girl in my family I had so many of the same emotions that plagued Britt. I was so glad to see her willing to accept God’s will for her life and not be desperate and accept someone that would have made for a miserable life. In the end all of the Chandler sisters made wonderful matches and God worked everything out for them beautifully. Deborah Raney is an excellent writer with wonderful stories to tell. I recommend this whole series as I enjoyed reading each sister’s story and going through their ups and downs with all of them. I think you will love Britt and Rafe. Thank You to NetGalley and the Author for a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions expressed are my own.

Finding Wings by Deborah Raney is the most delightful contemporary Christian novel that focuses on family and the faithfulness of God. It is the third book in the Chandler Sisters series but can be read as a stand-alone.
The characters were wonderfully drawn. The love and care of the sisters for each other radiated from the pages of the book.
There is a theme of new beginnings – quite literally and also when we let God redeem our lives. A past event has cast a shadow over a life. God does not want us to live in fear. He wants us to live abundantly free. Within the novel God gives a character the opportunity to face their fears and begin to live in a new freedom.
The lure and love of money corrupts lives. When we let money lead us, we are surely heading for a fall.
Family is important. Our families are all unique. We get different opportunities to show love and to bloom.
Part of the novel is set in a home for the mentally disabled. There were some very touching scenes perfectly captured by Deborah Raney. Having worked with teenagers with special needs, these characters were very dear to my heart.
Pets are therapeutic. People bond and relax over a cat. As a crazy cat lady, I loved these sections in the book and could totally relate.
God is faithful. He walks through life with us. When we face trouble we can call on Him and He will answer us. God is like the emergency services… we dial 999 (or 911) and they arrive to rescue us. We call out to God in prayer and He arrives and rescues us.
I absolutely adored Finding Wings. I love all Deborah Raney’s novels. They are delightful.
I received this book for free. A favourable review was not required and all views expressed are my own.
