For any child who is wondering about grandma or grandpa or another elderly friend or neighbor with dementia, this book offers a comforting, compassionate explanation, and the artwork is beautiful to match. Parents should know that the text does have a slight Christian bent and that there is a section after the book with questions used to promote discussion of dementia between parent and child.
