The sheikhs pregnant wife
Kara works with underprivileged people and has a one night stand with the serious sheikh Yaseen but after she is pregnant they must marry but she wants to carry on with her vision and benefits for the underprivileged so they agree to divorce after the birth.
A very predictable storyline but well written quick read to pass the time. 3.5/5
A naughty story that puts a smile on your face. Well written without cringy descriptions and full of fabulously provocative scenes.
I received with thanks an ARC copy of The Sheikh's Pregnant Wife (Hasan Sheikh #2) from Relay Publishing and Netgalley.
This is my review of The Sheikh's Pregnant Wife (Hasan Sheikh #2) by Leslie North. This was published on 24th August 2020.
Another hit from Leslie North, like all her other books this eBook was an absolute delight to read. As with book 1, I enjoyed the chemistry between the two main characters. I loved the storyline to see if Yaseen would truly be the knight in shining armour that Kara needed. Will be continuing on with this series.
Would recommend if you love a good romance.
I read book 1 and I’m gutted I missed the rest of the books in this series!
The marriage in this book was more of a convenience than love but Kara slowly breaks down the Princes boundaries. As always with Leslie North books, the book kept me entertained and always had something going on. Leslie is the queen of making books flow and knowing when to move on and not drag out situations!
Thank you for the opportunity to read this book.
And yes, part two of the Hasan Sheikh's. After we saw Zayid marry Laila to make way for his younger brother Yaseen to marry his pregnant one night stand Kara. But Kara and Yaseen have agreed to divorce after the baby is born, since Kara wants to focus on working for the underpriviliged. And Yaseen is busy with his business ventures. But as Kara's belly grows, so is their attraction. Can they move on with the divorce? Or will the baby grow up in a loving family? Find out for yourself in this wonderful cosy read of Leslie North. Four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.
Kara is pregnant with Yassen’s baby following a one night stand and thanks to royal tradition they have to get married. Yassen is the main person in control of the country’s finances and he has to weigh up the pros and cons of funding the sports and community centre that Kara’s organisation are trying to build in a more remote city
I liked Kara, she has vision and can see the benefits of what she is doing a lot more than Yassem can. She is passionate about her work and meeting people but also careful and totally loving of her unborn baby
Yassem I struggled with as his concerns over the community centre were all financial but seeing him start to understand that maybe money isn’t everything was really good and by the end I did actually quite like him
This book looks at the importance of life and not just the financial implications but the social ones as well which may not be obvious to see at the start but so easily become the overriding factor making this one of the best novellas I have read in a while
I would recommend this book to those who enjoy a story with a fabulous heroine who fights for what she believes in
The Sheikh's Pregnant Wife by Leslie North is book number two in the series. Yaseen is considered a serious sheikh. Kara ended up Pregnant with his baby after a night of passion. The rules clearly state Kara has to marry him, but after the baby is born she can divorce him and that is the plan that is written in a contract. But can Kara and Yaseen rekindle that passion they found one night not so long ago?
This story was perfect from all angles, well written and has an easy flow that captivates the reader. I didn't want to put this book down.
ARC provided by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
Story is not credible and at the same time, that story has been told many times before. The writing is OK, but the plot and characterizations seems to repeat in all of her books.
Leslie North consistently brings great characters and passionate romance to life. As a big fan of North's, her name provokes an automatic one-click from me. I am always entertained. Highly recommend.
I think this book is my favorite for the moment !! Book 1 was great, but Yaseen and Kara were just adorable with their baby coming !!
I love the way Kara is trying to change Yaseen, for him not to only see the financial part in something !!
Their story had melted my heart.
I wish we would have seen more of them before Kara got pregnant and how things were, before their wedding !!
But still a good story.
Great read! I couldn't wait to get to the end to know what happened. Looking forward to the next book in this series
Second in this series and an enjoyable read. We have a little angst, drama, romance and steam, finishing up with the requisite HEA. Great beach read. Add to your TBR list.
A sheikh, a surprise pregnancy, dealing with this emotionally charged situation with new and lasting feelings.
A marriage agreement, that will be even more complicated and yet simplified, when these feelings are acknowledged as true love.
With a happy ever after ending in this romantic story of love, commitment and happiness.
I am a big fan of Leslie North! I feel like you can always rely on her books to get you hooked and to be an easy read! As with the genre, it can be quite predictable but that doesn’t make it any less enjoyable! I loved the main characters. I liked how there was more to the female than just marrying a prince! That makes a change!
This book is a quick read that is worth the time. This is the second book I've read by Leslie North and I love how her female characters have ambition. Her themes of community development and improvement are refreshing.
Absolutely delicious!
Leslie North created a tale of the perfect hardheaded and ambitious couple. It was a wonderful follow-up of the sheikh's marriage bargain
I do feel that Leslie North should delay the next book so we can anticipate it more
I got some of the background story of Kara and Yaseen's story in book one. Made it so we could hop right into their love story. Although it doesn't start out as love. Kara is so patient. A trait that is needed by Royalty but hard to come by. I loved the ah ha moment when Yaseen realized that he loves his wife.
