Sarah is once again involved in an investigation with the elderly detectives, Charlotte's Angels. This time, they are using her cat Elvis to go undercover, working the local cat show circuit. Mayhem and murder ensue, as the quirky crew attempt to find out who is causing the problems plaguing the contestants and contest organizers. A solid addition to the series.

Through NetGalley, I received a free copy of UNDERCOVER KITTY (Book 8 of the Second Chance Cat Mysteries) by Sofie Ryan in exchange for an honest review. Charlotte’s Angels have a new case and they need Sarah Grayson’s permission and Elvis’ help. The organizers of a traveling cat show hired the Angels to investigate a series of vandalisms and sabotages and to provide security to insure there aren’t any repeats. Thus, Sarah’s personable cat Elvis is needed to go undercover as an entrant in the feline beauty contest. Elvis may be killing the congeniality portion of the program, but someone else slays one of the human volunteers. Sarah and the Angels expand their investigation to include catching a killer.

I liked this book and enjoy the series. I recommend this book to fans of cozy mysteries featuring murder, secondhand shop, cats, small towns, and close communities.

I really enjoyed this adorable cozy mystery featuring Elvis the cat and his human, Sarah.
When Elvis is needed to infiltrate a cat show, he finds himself the center of attention, and his human wrapped up in another murder investigation.
I loved everything about this story, and Elvis is quickly becoming one of my favorite cats.
I’m looking forward to reading more in this series.

Undercover Kitty, is book #8 in the Second Chance Cat mystery series.
I love the setting of a quaint little town in Maine. I love Sarah's job working and owning a second hand shop.
Her cat who adopted her, by hopping in her truck is too cute. His name is Elvis.
Elvis gets to go undercover in a cat show to help find who is sabatoging the pet expo. Elvis is so cute strutting around because of all the complements.
When a body is found they start poking their noses into both cases.
Great group of characters. Good chemistry.

Undercover Kitty at a Cat Show is a new role for Elvis and he manages it surprisingly well. He is recruited by Rose and Charlotte’s Angels. The detective agency is holding space at the Second Chance Repurpose Shop. Rose and the Angels don’t take no for an answer easily and Sarah finds herself learning all about Cat Shows. Elvis takes it easily in stride fast becoming a favorite. This was new territory for me. I’ve always had a cat but have never considered entering one in a show. This story reveals some of the trials and tribulations of such an endeavour.

I enjoyed reading about the repurposing of objects at the store. I’ve dabbled a bit in refurnishing furniture and always have a few minutes to stop at a yard sale. I’ve enjoyed television shows about abandoned storage units. The finds that Sarah and her crew pull together for amazing displays inspires me to do the same!

The relationships between the characters is enjoyable.Unfortunately, tragedy strikes a newly met friend of Sarah’s at the Cat Show and the mystery deepens. The Angels are on the case and the bad characters get caught. Meanwhile a romance deepens.

This was a nice cozy mystery. Congratulations are in order for Elvis on winning in the companion cat category.

Sarah and her black cat Elvis, get talked into going undercover at a local cat show. A lot of minor incidents have been going on, and Rose and Mr. P. are on the case. What and who are causing these disruptions? Between her store, her friends and her budding romance with Mac, Sarah is on hand to help. It steps up a notch when a new friend gets murdered, and Sarah feels even stronger to find out what and who are behind things. First I've read in this series, but wasn't lost. Fun read and highly recommend this cozy mystery.

Another sweet mystery featuring that charming cat Elvis and a band of senior sleuths. Charlotte's Angels have been hired to find out who is sabotaging a series of local cat shows. With Elvis entered in the household pets category, they go undercover. When murder disrupts the proceedings, they widen their investigation.

Well-written and fun.

I love this whole series...the Second Chance Cat Mysteries by Sofie Ryan. This one is delightful and seems so new and fresh. Sarah and her friends, family and employees, not forgetting the angels are involved in a case of sabotage at the American Feline Association shows. Elvis is enrolled in the companion cat category providing a great cover story allowing Sarah and crew to investigate. I was delighted to learn about cat shows and meet some of the “owners” of the cats. (Does anyone really own a cat?). Murder and mayhem ensue allowing the characters introduced in previous books to identify and catch the criminals. There are just enough scenes set in the Second Chance resale emporium to catch up with what’s going on at the family business. Undercover Kitty could be read as a stand alone but is even more enjoyable if you’re a bit familiar with the series.

Elvis is a star! Or at least a show cat. The Angels have a new case finding out who is sabotaging cat shows, and Elvis goes undercover to help. As usual Sarah gets talked into participating in the madness and tries to reign in some of their more outlandish schemes. With lovable characters and a roller- coaster ride of a mystery this book was probably my favorite of the series so far. I am also very happy that Mac and Sarah seem to finally be getting together. This is a must read series.
