I found this to be an overall 3* Good Read.

Annie is such an interesting character. Frustrating? Absolutely and I'd say she's on the autistic spectrum as she not only struggles with friendship and relationships in general, but, has difficulty in communicating what she is thinking and blurts out the most inappropriate things. Then, a young girl goes missing and Annie recognises her own car in the CCTV footage, but, why can't she remember anything?

What follows has 2 stories intertwined. There's the present day Annie, with her complex personality and issues at work and home and then there's Lizzie, a very young girl who is being encouraged by 2 school girls to do things in order to be accepted. It's well written and covers well the issues of child abduction, bullying, vigilantes and lies.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for the opportunity to preview.

All your little lies by Marianne Holmes was a pretty average book for me. The plot was interesting but it did not grip me for long. I struggled to stay focused. I kept with it though expecting a spectacular ending but it never came and I was left deflated.

Thank you for the advanced copy in exchange for a review.
This is a new author for me and I was looking forward to reading this. It took me a couple of chapters to get to grips with the main character and the story developed well, not a lot of dialogue but well written.
I enjoyed the flash back chapters and finished it over an afternoon.

Look forward to reading more from this author.

i really wanted to love this but i just couldnt.

idk dude, i just didnt vibe with this at all. it follows that trope of a woman’s poor mental health being the reason we dont know whats happening, but its quite possibly the worst offender ive experienced yet. it was EXTREMELY convenient and thats what made it fall apart for me personally. i feel like the premise was super interesting but it didnt go anywhere close to the route that i thought it would, and it was underwhelming.

i also felt like the writing was just..really weird and disjointed. and the fact that it was in third person instead of first person, in my opinion, did this book a great disservice. but in general the way this book was written was very confusing. i was reading very closely and paid very close attention to what was happening, but i really couldnt understand much of what was happening most of the time. it just felt...disconnected from reality in the weirdest way that really didnt work for me.

but something that REALLY turned me away from this story was the dialogue and character building. first, the dialogue. it really didnt feel like real people were talking at all. the characters would switch between such intense, opposing emotions so quickly it felt like whiplash to the brain. i also felt like the characters and their motivations were very wishy washy and something felt off and undeveloped about all of them.

i know its just an arc so its probably an earlier draft, but if the author wants the best version of this book to go onto shelves in october, shes gonna have to do some very serious cleanup because this just didnt work well at all. and i hate to be so negative about a book that hasnt even come out yet, because i REALLY wanted to love this book based on that premise, but i really couldnt.

1.5/5.

** spoiler alert ** There has possibly never been a more awkward character than Annie.
I found myself almost wincing at some of her actions and comments.
Also at the ever deepening hole she was digging herself into every time she spoke to the police.
The flashback chapters gave a pretty good idea early on why Annie was like she is,and that added a new level to the story.
A new author to me,and one I'll happily read again

Annie is very happy with her life, quite content. The problem is, she seems to be all but invisible to those around her. She really wishes people would take more notice, but then one day, she gets her chance. Chloe Hills has disappeared and Annie was the last person to see her. Now people will notice Annie, she has a story to tell. The question is, what part did she play in Chloe’s disappearance?

All Your Little Lies by Marianne Holmes offers up an interesting premise, and much food for thought. The storyline is unique, and the writing style kept me engaged throughout.

Annie is a woman who is never fully at ease with either herself or others. But when Chloe Hills goes missing, Annie is suddenly cast into the spotlight as the last person to see Chloe, and sees an opportunity to finally make her mark. But the notoriety quickly sours when Annie herself becomes not only a witness, but a suspect.

This is a compelling, fast-paced read, and I would certainly be keen to read more from this author.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Agora Books for the opportunity to read this ARC.

This one was just okay to me. The premise was interesting but I lost interest pretty quickly as there wasn't a lot of dialogue, just Annie's thoughts and her digging herself into a hole more and more.

Kindly received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
