4.5 stars! So much happens as Calvin and Mia, both in their 30s, realize that their love cannot wait. Calvin is creating protection devices that were to have helped his brother who died; Mia handles security, and neither has time to wedding plan or get married.

His parents are bugging him to meet with a former colleague, Gabriel, whom Calvin doesn't trust. It turns out he was right. Then there is that former boyfriend, Avant, who has decided to work from home while Mia is assigned security detail for his niece. Added to the mix is that the Kings and Knights of the Castle want Calvin to work from Durabia for the next few years.

So much seems to be in the way of Mia and Calvin getting married. Their careers continue to come first, but Mia's biological clock is ticking. There is a sexy scene too.

As the action moves from the USA to Durabia, the action kicks up to high gear with the most suspenseful and dangerous scenes near the end of the book made this a page turner. I was hooked.

Then it had the perfect ending!!! This series delivers.

Note: I received an advance reading copy from NetGalley. I had read and own books from this series.

Karen is an awesome writer of romantic suspense. The intelligence that she gives to her male characters shows and extreme level of attention to detail,. This story is action packed and full of gadgets and all thing technology related. The relationships are well thought out. I can’t wait to read the remainder of the series.

Calvin Altwood is a technology genius, working on a project that will help mankind. His bodyguard/girlfriend, Mia Jacobs is trying to balance being his woman and working on setting a wedding date, as well as trying to keep him safe. Calvin's project will help, but outside forces are trying to steal what he is working on, and it will not be good for the majority of mankind. The Kings feel that moving Calvin and Mia to Duriba is the best thing, Although Mia has some concerns and is not willing to make that change.

This is a fast paced action packed romantic suspense story that will keep you on your seat from start to finished. I wanted to read it slower because I didn't want the story to end, but that was not possible. This is just a marvelous series that keeps you wanting more.

This is book #3 in “The Knights Of The Castle” and I must say it has all the action of a block buster movie.
“Knight of South Holland” is action packed with mystery, fun and the Knights and Kings coming together again.
This is an awesome read. If Durabia was a real place to visit I would most definitely visit.

Love Avant the character from this book not the singer. Even though Calvin is considered a nerd Avant better watch out.

Khalil, Vikkas, Jai, Shaz, Dewayne, Dro, Reno, Daron, Grant, Kaleb and Cameron to the rescue.
If that’s Calvin on the cover he most definitely does not look like the nerdy professor.

Calvin Atwood is a technical geek and he and Daron Kincaid “The King of Morgan Park” are working together on yet another invention. Mia Jakobs a top security agent who works for Daron and was sent to keep Calvin safe in “The Confection Assignment” are engaged and Mia is ready to get to become Mrs. Calvin Atwood but Calvin want to hold off just a bit longer.

Not only is Calvin’s life on the line but also the life of his parents. Calvin is working on a secret shield that is to help keep Durabia safe because there is still a lot going on now that Ellena the wife of Sheikh Kamran isn’t going away anytime soon and is making some great changes in Durabia.

Pick up your copy today to see the Knights and Kings in action, you will not be disappointed.

This third installment of the Knights of the Castle gets its hooks in you with the romance and suspense.

It features Calvin Atwood, a technical geek with several inventions under his belt. Mia Jakob, who is one of Daron's top security agents. When Calvin's life and those around him are threatened because of his brilliance, it is the Kings and Knights that come to their aide.

With each of the books, I am more and more intrigued by Durabia and what the end of the series will bring.

What I like most about this one is the references of places the author list in my hometown, the suspense, and how a near-death experience helps this couple realizes what is important in life.

Karen Bradley's "Knight of South Holland was a great addition to this series. I am looking forward to the next installment.

Knight of South Holland is an action-packed, fast-paced and intense story of corruption and retribution. I was a little disappointed to realise I had come into the series at book 3, but overall this was a powerful story that kept me intrigued throughout the entire tale.

What I love about Karen D. Bradley is that she is a "gadget queen". Calvin is a mastermind, but his heart is in the right place. However, there are people who don't care about his humanitarian goals. Knight of South Holland is a wonderfully crafted story about a man torn between duty and love. A major project lands in his lap that's a lifetime dream, but it comes at the wrong time. After nearly losing his life on the last government assignment, he promises Mia that they can slow down a little and have a family. Fate has other plans and he's pulled into a network of deception where his parents are used as pawns. Karen D. Bradley pushes the envelope with every book she writes and this one is no different. You'll enjoy the complexity of a many trying to balance all aspect of his lives, but ends up on a daring adventure to rescue the woman he loves.

Danger, corruption and intrigue are all included in this action packed book. Calvin’s intelligence and innovation has attracted a new level of endangerment to himself and everything he holds dear in his life. His fiance Mia is highly trained and skilled in protecting people, that’s how they met, but she’s ready to settle down and start their family.

Lack of communication, temptation from the past and misunderstandings cause a rift in this couple’s relationship. However, clear present danger and their deep love keep them from giving up on each other. This is the third story in the Knights of the Castle book series and it’s a page turner. You will definitely be pleased to see your favorite Kings of the Castle make appearances throughout the book. Happy Reading!

4.25 stars--KNIGHT OF SOUTH HOLLAND is the third instalment in the multi-authored, contemporary, adult KNIGHTS OF THE CASTLE multi-cultural romance series-a spin off from the Kings of the Castle series. This is inventor Calvin Atwood, and security specialist Mia Jakob’s story line. KNIGHT OF SOUTH HOLLAND can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary. Several characters cross over for cohesion and familiarity. There is a slight sci-fi premise in the aforementioned title.

NOTE: Mia and Calvin’s story begins in the novelette The Confection Assignment. Although it is not necessary to have read, there are a number of scenarios and characters critical to, and cross over with the current timeline, and in this, I recommend reading The Confection Assignment for backstory and history.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Mia and Calvin) KNIGHT OF SOUTH HOLLAND follows Calvin Atwood as he is tasked with perfecting his latest invention. The Emperor’s Suit Project camouflages the wearer by making them appear invisible, an invention he was directing at the military in the aftermath of his brother’s death, while serving in the Middle East. The Kings of the Castle are hoping Calvin is able to upgrade his invention to a city sized domed shield, in an effort to protect the royal kingdom in Durabia but time away from his fiancé Mia Jakob threatens the tentative hold on their current relationship, a relationship that is vulnerable with the appearance of someone from Mia’s past. As the Kings of Durabia, and his parents, continue to put pressure on our story line hero, Calvin finds himself the target of some very powerful men. Meanwhile, Mia begins to question her relationship with Calvin, their time together, the current direction of Calvin’s work, and the circumstance surrounding her latest assignment, an assignment that brings our heroine up close and personal with sins of the past.

KNIGHT OF SOUTH HOLLAND is an intriguing story of suspense; of family, relationships, and secrets; of trust, doubt, and power. The premise is edgy and dramatic; the characters are spirited and captivating; the romance struggles in the face of too many obstacles, and the pressure from too many outside sources.

Knight of South Holland by Karen D. Bradley is book three of the nine book Knights of the Castle series. This series is a spinoff of the Kings of the Castle series. The books in both series are standalones penned by various authors and can be read in any order.

Calvin Atwood is the inventor of several technological marvels. He’s previously collaborated with the Kings of the Castle to provide gadgets that aid in the Kings mission to advance mankind through philanthropy. Calvin has been offered a position as Knight of South Holland and assigned a major project for the East Indian kingdom of Durabia. He jumps at the chance to showcase his latest invention, while providing protection to a country facing regional turmoil. The only problem is that his fiancée, Mia Jakob, wants him to commit to settling down and starting a family.

Mia Jakob is a top security specialist employed by Daron Kincaid, King of Morgan Park. Mia is engaged to her former client, Calvin Atwood. Calvin has been offered his dream job, but it requires him to move to Durabia. Mia has no intentions of moving out of the country. She knows that Calvin’s inventions will always make him a target of people seeking to exploit them for profit.

Calvin and Mia will each have to decide how much they’re willing to give up for love.

Karen D. Bradley continues the Knights of the Castle series with an excellent novel. She maintains the continuity of the series and introduces previous backstory when it’s needed for clarity. More great characters are added to the family, and we revisit some old favorites. We also encounter some villains, but they’re well-rounded and believable. As with the previous installments, the plot is engrossing and grabs the reader’s attention at the beginning and holds it till the end. This is a 4 out of 5 star read. I recommend Knight of South Holland to all readers of romantic suspense and multicultural romance.

My thanks to Independent Publishers Group and NetGalley for the opportunity to read an advance copy of this book. However, the opinions expressed in this review are 100% mine and mine alone.

Would i read more by this author? Yes

First of a big thank you to the authors as well as to the publisher for sending me a invite to read this and for letting me continue on with this series because i'm officially hooked. In fact i was talking about this series and we decided that instead of just picking one of the male characters to keep we're going to keep them all.

And since that's out of the let's get to my thoughts on the story: first off i love the cover. Second i love how you get to see more of Calvin and finding a bit more about him.And his interactions with the Kings of the Castles as well as his interactions with the characters from the other two books. But the main thing I loved about this book was how the author brought to life the corruption and that there are people who will do anything for money even sell out their own to do so and that there are people out there that are not afraid of standing up to them and stopping them, it also brought to life the dangerous that our soldiers as well as the people in other countries face when it comes to weapons of war and how they are used . But it so much more then that, its also a story about family, relationships, and secrets; of trust, doubt and the up and downs that can either make you or break you.
