This is the Think and Grow Rich set back in the depression era. The same 13 steps apply today, and generations of people have read this.
This book is an absolute classic, and one I have heard about for years. However, so many others have been written with the same concept in more current times. Of course, many of them probably got their ideas from this book. Still, there’s a lot of insight to positive thinking, along with stories of success of those who use positive thinking. There’s a lot more to growing rich than just thinking about it, but this book also teaches how important action is. Yes, it reads like a classic so no updated info, but still interesting to read about the success of so many people in our history who knew how to use their thoughts for success.
Thanks to NetGalley for the preread of the ebook in exchange for an honest review.
The book is set during the depression, with plenty of people interviewed and quoted on their thoughts on how they became rich. I found the book to be slow reading. I would recommend reading one chapter at a time and thinking about what advice Mr. Hill is offering. While disagreeing with some of his actions, it is interesting to read different points of view/ "this will make you rich" ideas.
