This book is a great guide for those individuals early in their professional career or needing help to navigate corporate culture

While this is a nice title about the very basic etiquette one would teach their child (hopefully!), this is just what it is - common sense stuff, nothing really ground breaking, and certainly nothing that puts the reader in the direction of boss vibes. While it's true that good manners is the foundation of everything, that's not the only thing that makes you a boss, contributes to your self-esteem, and paves the way for success in today's world. Thus, the title and cover were very misleading as to what the content actually provides

Boss Vibes offers a wonderful solution to being on top of the world. It starts with how we dress, with suggestions on our age that many people might not care for (I thought it was great.). Then it moves to conversations, and boy do I know what she means by people talking too loudly. Then it moves on to so much more (such as body—please do not intentionally burb out loud at work no matter how comfortable you feel!). It offers a lot of introspection, to really dig deep into yourself. Love her suggestion on those who take up our space (a pet peeve of mind before the pandemic, when it was a normal tactic for many at work). Part of the book suggestions don’t work at this point in life (such as handshaking but hopefully that will one day be safe again!!), but this book offers too many great things everyone should know to apply not just to their work, but their entire life. It’s not just about being respectful of others, being a boss of your life, but being polite. A how to guide.

The title made me think of being a boss, but it’s not being a supervisor, but really being a boss of your own life. A much needed and recommended book for everyone.

Engaging and easy to following book on modern etiquette will walk you through the basics of the rules that we sometimes forget and sometimes nobody taught us. I liked the modern approach and simple rules to follow that our together like a puzzle set go into a nice and comfortable picture.

The constructive advice provided by the author regarding everything from manners to the vibes you may be setting off with what you wear is helpful to anyone, not just those looking to be the boss at work.

The book achieves the impossible. It captures the mundane lack of manners across the spectrum of social situations. Several face palming moments. She is a soul sister to those who refuse to give up manners. I once witnessed a colleague brushing her hair and leaving a pile on the spotless floor. She said the cleaners would clean it up. We were in the powder room of a luxury hotel. I picked up the hair and dropped it in the bin before the attendant came in. Clearly, self-evaluation on etiquette IQ is required. The title is misleading or perhaps I missed something - it is not clear how the title relates to the content.
