I typically review children's books from NetGalley directly with my kiddos. I read out-loud to them to get their first impression. This book, and the illustrations, are officially three year old approved. Cute giftable book for young kiddos!
I love books that give you a hint as to what is on the next page and the reader gets to guess! This one had adorable illustrations and it would be a really cute book to gift a kid learning animal noises or learning how to read.
Super cute! There's all kinds of fun going on in this little book- bright, colorful artwork, with lots of fun details to find (the bat and the caterpillar were my favorites!); a sneak peek of what animal is waking up next, allowing littles to guess at who it might be; and a sleepy mouse hiding somewhere in each spread. The accompanying animal sounds are provided for each animal, allowing littles to "help" tell the story by making the sounds, making this a fun read-aloud. Sure to be a favorite!

Your baby and you will enjoy waking up with the farm animals! There is much to see and a little mouse to look for. Each farm animal wakes up another and the illustrations are cleverly in anticipation of who will be waken up next. The tail of the next animal shows who is next. With animal noises, recognizing animal tail and looking for little mouse, you and baby will have a a special time in learning.
A special thank you to Clavis Publishing and Netgalley for the ARC and the opportunity to post an honest review.
This book was very cute, and children will have a lot of fun guessing what the next animal will be. They also enjoy making the animal noises. This book is perfect for animal/farm-loving kids, and finding the mouse on each page is a wonderful way to make it interactive! Recommended for preschool-aged kids or younger.
This is a cute children's picture book which shows different farm animals and the noises that they make as they wake up in the morning. On each page there is a clue as to which farm animal will be shown next and my daughter really enjoyed guessing which animal was coming up next in the book. She also enjoyed making the different animal noises and she loved looking at the bright, colourful illustrations.
Many thanks to the author, publisher and netgalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
In this book we see how the animals on the farm all wake up in their unique ways and with plenty of colour to keep children entertained as they enjoy this quick picture book read and learn about the animals on and around a farm.
Many thanks to the publishers for allowing me to review this book for them!
This book seemed like such a cute book unfortunately when I opened it via Kindle to read to my niece it was in split sections and I couldn't zoom on them. Shame because she loves barn animals. Still giving it 3 stars because the pictures (what I could see) were adorable.
A great interactive story for little ones where they can try to find a mouse on each of the pages in addition to guessing what animal will appear on the next page.
This sweet title is sure to appeal to toddlers. Its brightly colored illustrations will keep young listeners attention. The text is simple with the repetition that toddlers love. Children will watch as the animals welcome the day with each entry leading to the next by showing a small bit of the next animal. as a clue. This book offers a fun way to acquaint little ones with farm critters.
Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this title in exchange for an honest review.
The book was very bright and simple for young preschool/toddler age children. My son (2) enjoyed it and was able to "guess" identify the next animal with the clues and the clue most of the time matched the sound or animal. The book was very easy to read and flowed nicely. The only downside was the words were very small on the page make reading very difficult at times.
This book has bright colorful illustrations with plenty of background additions kids will surely notice. Each page has an animal, complete with appropriate sounds. However, each page also has the preview of the next animal at the edge of the page. The adult reading the book can allow time for the child (or group of them) to guess what's coming next. Kids love to make predictions and have them confirmed. This book offers many options for class engagement, and I appreciate that as an educator and a parent. Good Morning, Farm would be a great addition to a preschool classroom library or a home collection.
I read this with my daughter tonight and immediately after we finished reading it together she asked for me to read it, and after the second time she asked for a third in a row so it was definitely a hit with her!
She liked the little treat too to find the little mouse that is hidden on each page. She loved the interaction of the story and guessing the animals that were coming left and joining in making their sounds too.
It is 5 stars from me for this one, a very enjoyable story – very highly recommended, my just turned three year old loved it!
This is a vividly coloured book that introduce toddlers 24 months+ to animals that are found on farms. It is sweetly illustrated and well written so that children can anticipate what's coming next and guess the next animal. I would definitely buy this book for my friends' children.
Hilarious yet useful for toddlers. They will not only learn about different animals and how they spend their days, but also are invited to make associations and search for small little mice hidden in the most unusual corners of the page. The illustration part was not outstanding but for the intended age range it works just fine.
Vibrantly illustrated, childlike depictions of farm animals fill the pages of this short read. A cow is waking up. A hint at who might be waking up next appears on every page, the smallest part of the next animal showing (a hoof, a horn, a tail, etc.). A cow, a goat, a pig, a dog, a sheep, a horse, etc. Fun for toddlers.
"Good Morning, Farm" by Anita Bijsterbosch is a fabulous new book that takes young readers on a journey through a farm to learn about different animals and colors. Kids will love the bright illustrations and fun guessing game as they try to figure out which farm animal is waking up next.
Our family loved this book! It was well written and had our kids yelling out their guesses for which animal would come next. The kids were engaged and loved the familiar animal characters! As a parent and a teacher, this book has so many potential spin off activities that it is sure to be a hit... both in homes and in classrooms!
Special thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for our free copy in exchange for an honest review! We loved it!
Good Morning Farm by Anita Bijsterbosch is a fun farm animal picture book for children. The illustrations are adorable and highlight each animal. I loved the sneak peak of a body part of the next animal on each page with a question posed for the reader to guess the animal coming next. This would be a great book to read aloud with young children to promote language development.
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for providing a copy in exchange for an honest review.
Good morning farm in a cute and engaging book for young children. All the little animals are adorable. My favorite part is the sneak peek of the animal on the next page.
