Bakers and What they Do outlines the job of a baker and the different things involved in being a baker.
I loved the art style of this book and the use of bright colours contrasting the white pages of the story itself.
This book manages to have a strong balance between being educational as well as entertaining and engaging for children.
As a concept I love the idea of using a picture book to explore different professions with children, especially ones which they will have seen out in their world.

this story introduces bakers to toddlers. I liked the concept of the book, but the flow of the story wasn't great. It was a bit too wordy for the age range. However, I can imagine all of the fun activities to do with kids while reading the book. Depending on the child's age you can bake something simple or play on a kitchen play set.

I really liked this book and the images are lovely!

I read the book with my daughter and she was getting involved and asked for me to read it to her again as soon as we had finished. I have read a few books by this author now and this was another fabulous little read and introduction to the role of a baker and what he does – perfectly aimed at little ones.

My daughter has just turned three and loved it and was pointing out things she knew the name of and learning the rest too so it was educational and fun!

It is 4 stars from me for this one – highly recommended

This was a quick and colorful read about bakers, and would be interesting for children who are curious about the world. The illustrations are simple but efficient.

Thank you netgalley for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Loved this storybook detailing in simple prose the work a baker does. With fun illustrations and easy to follow steps, kids can understand what a job as a baker entails.

A informative story about baking bread. The illustrations are very cute and I think the story would be quite relatable to a young child. I do think the story is a bit wordy where one could have to streamline the story when being read to a very young child. The attention span of a young child Is quite short!
The ending should have showed the baker going to bed....a “now it’s time for bed” type ending :)
Many thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and author for the opportunity to read and give my honest review about this book.

Cute story, easy to follow.
Nice colors and illustrations.
Story felt a little incomplete, as if there could have been another page or two as the baker finishes up his day.

I enjoyed this book with it's simple and quirky illustrations that teaches kids about what bakers do and all the tools they use. It also briefly teaches children about bread making and that whole process.

What a cute book about a baker and his bakery! This is a fun, quick read. The pictures were bright and colorful and went well with the story. I can’t wait to get this for my grandson to teach him about a bakery!
