Things are always jumping in The Loud House. Now it’s winter, and it’s time to get into the spirit by enjoying things that occur during that time. From who has the best hot cocoa recipe to decorating ornaments and a gingerbread house, the Loud kids keep things fun, exciting, and LOUD. This is the second graphic novel that I have had the pleasure of reading, and just as with the first, the graphics are great, the story easy to follow. Although this is for a much younger age group, I thoroughly enjoy reading these. Thank you to NetGalley, the author and publisher for the opportunity to review this book.

This book was received as an ARC from Papercutz in exchange for an honest review. Opinions and thoughts expressed in this review are completely my own.

I am now the Loud House's biggest fan and this graphic novel was such a treat to read and each of the stories were more hysterical than the next. I especially love any stories with Lincoln and Ronnie Ann with their friends and they always get into mischief. Also, Lola is a real trip too and I love how her personality changes when she doesn't get what she wants and how she goes off on Lincoln and the sisters is such a hoot. Oh of course we can't forget Lilly and her dreams of skating but as a baby she can get into the most trouble out of all of them. Everyone of all ages will enjoy this book.

We will consider adding this title to our JGraphic Novel collection at our library. That is why we give this book 5 stars.

The representation is really well done. Every character has a distinct personality and their own interests. Clyde is more than just Lincoln’s Black best friend. He’s also a kid with a ton of allergies and two overprotective dads who love him.

We get a really great look inside Ronnie Anne’s Mexican family and we even get to see some of her best friend Sid’s Asian heritage through the scene where they’re making hot chocolate in the style of their respective cultures. There’s even a full recipe for each!

Ronnie Anne’s younger cousin CJ has Down Syndrome and as someone who’s been volunteering with children who have Down Syndrome for the past 5 or so years, the show does a really nice job of representing him. He’s honestly one of my favorite characters and if y’all watch the show than you already know about that Pirate episode.

The holiday joy had me in the mood for Christmas. In all honesty, this story would make a really cute Christmas gift. Is it too early to start listening to Christmas jingles?

This book was mind-blowing. I loved it so much. It was so nice and funny. The writing, the concepts and all the different stories were so good. I just had a flashback and went back in the time when I used to watch Loud House on Nickelodeon. I am in so much love with the Loud House Series comics. Can't wait to read the next comic in this series😍😍. I want to read more of these great comics.

This was a fun read with my daughter. She especially likes the show and we watch it together frequently. The different stories are very easy to read and to the point. Very short, but still keeps the attention of kids.

This book was very funny. The short stories were really fun to read and I loved how everyone's personality shone. Perfect for readers ages 8-11.

I gave this comic a shot, even though I don't like the particular style of art in this book. The story starts off with an extensive cast of characters, which drags it down right away, although it can be useful for reference as there are so many Loud kids. The characters are so stereotypical--the tomboy, the girly girl, the glasses-wearing genius, the family beauty (blonde, of course), the goofy dad. The TV series may play well to a broad audience of kids on Nickelodeon but we have a limited budget and shelf space, not to mention that the illustrated books my colleague bought aren't circulating well, so this is a definite "no".

The Loud House Winter Special is everything fun and exciting about childhood rolled into one bright eye catching volume. Each panel reads like a still shot in the life of the Loud House family. Family craziness involving all the things that make winter great from snow fun to Christmas cheer can be found in this volume. The Casagrandes even grace the pages of this book to make sure you get a dose of all the characters you love from Nickelodeon. A fun read that lightens the mood and brings a smile to your face and leaves you longing for a snow day. My voluntary, unbiased review is based upon a review copy from Netgalley.

We couldn't wait to read this colourful and bright Loud House Winter Special. This special family has 13 unique members (two parents, ten daughters and one son), We were thrilled to see the Loud family in their Winter clothes and meet some of their pets. and we were delighted to also see the Casagrande and Chang family in the book as well. The descriptions at the start of the book are perfect if you have never encountered the characters before but if you have, the information is gripping and there is lots to find out about each person. The rest of the book is full of comic stories which my children could not stop reading! Thank you for producing another great read that is full of chaos, family loyalty and love (shown in a Loud House kind of way) and laugh out loud moments!

Thank you NetGalley and Papercutz for our ARC,
