I had never read anything by this author before, and I am impressed by how varied and different these stories all are from each other,,,very creative and interesting.

This collection of six short stories and an interview works as a good introduction to the work of one of China's most famous sci-fi writers - Han Song. Containing three previously untranslated short stories, it provides ample ground even for those who are already familiar with the author's work. A very interesting and informative collection, and one that makes me wish for more of Han Song's work to reach the English-speaking world.
