Fans of the fast paced global conspiracy technothriller will like this one for its global trotting hero Marc Dane. A former MI officer, Dane now works for the Rubicon Group, a dodgy (let's be honest here) private security company. The Combine probably had Lex Wetherby, a hacker, killed. Can he, and his partner Kara stay safe when someone has been passing info on them to the bad guys? Then there's Madrigal, who is being tracked by Lucy, who was a sniper. Some of this is just totally out there (as this genre can be) but the characters are good and the pacing well done. No spoilers from me but this is the third book (I didn't read the first two) and it looks like there's potential for more. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC. Would be a very good airplane book.
