A very short story. This is a love story between Jonathan, an artist and Beth, a divorced advertising owner. They are neighbors who become lovers who end up becoming engaged.

Damn near perfect

<i>The book was provided to me for an honest review by NetGalley</i>

I don’t think I can give this book more than 2.5 hot stars.

I had great expectations about the story, but damn, I am so disappointed.

In the book, we get to know the story of the “divorcee” Beth Andrews. A woman in her middle thirties, with some really (And I mean <b>really</b>) bad luck with men. She always falls for douches and assholes. So her sex life is non-existent, and she is horny as hell.

In this time in the apartment above her lives hot sexual maniac and bachelor Jonathan “fuck-machine” Tucker.

They meet and have great and passionate sex, and then fall in love.

And that’s it.

I thought this book is about romance, but after reading it I think that’s not the case. No, cause this book is about sex. And probably around 60% of the story is just them fucking. They don’t even act like they are in a relationship, they just fuck.

And don’t let me start of how unrealistic are the whole sex scenes (like reading some teenager writing fantasy just to masturbate).

I liked how the author described her love life, I like that she tried to show us the misfortune of the heroine, the fucking pussy Harry, the cheater I-don’t-remember-his-name. But something I found missing is her ex-husband. He was never introduced in the story, and only mentioned once (at the beginning), it’s like the author forgot that she wrote him.

The whole book was rushed, and I repeat, the characters were too busy fucking each other, so they couldn’t even get to know each other.

At 47% of the book I was sure that if the couple ever married, their marriage wouldn’t last long. Cause they never really get closer. And I want to prove my point with this scene <spoiler> She needed to research him on the internet so she could learn something about him! On the freaking internet! It’s not like they see each other every day (/s) </spoiler>

I can give to the author that the book is hot, and has some good sex scenes, but nothing really more than that.

The plot twist was just stupid. First her reaction, then his! I mean If they were in a real relationship this whole pointless drama wouldn’t happen.

And one of the last chapters just finished me <spoiler> She threw up! So I guess that means she is pregnant! But one baby won’t solve the problem, and they will just ruin his life.

The characters:

The Heroine, Beth Andrews seemed nice, a little bit awkward, a lot of unlucky, and just slightly crazy.

The Hero – Jonathan Tucker, was hot, a lot of playboy, pretty confident, and a lot of cute. The few romantic moments of the book were initiated by him.

Rating:
Heroine - 3/6
Hero - 4/6
Plot Twist - 1/6
Ending - 3/6
Storyline - 2/6

Definitely won’t recommend it.

This book is sexy, fun and irresistible.

Be prepared for in-depth, descriptive and scorching hot sexual scenes between the main characters Beth and Jonathan. The imagery that Fraser has used throughout the narrative is so powerful it made me feel like I was transported into the story. I liked the older woman/younger man aspect instead of the typical older man/younger girl. I also liked how the age difference was only subtly mentioned instead of being the main focus point of the narrative. I definitely recommend this book if your looking for a hot and steamy read.

I received an advanced copy for free, and this is my honest opinion.

This is a short love story between Beth Andrews, a publicist recently divorced, and Jonathan Tucker, an artist who lives upstairs.
Beth is thirty-five years old and in desperate need of an active sex life. After a few disappointing experiences, she is starting to freak out. But after younger Jonathan sets his sights on his beautiful neighbor, things are going to get steamy…
I quite enjoy the dialogs between them and the hot sex scenes. It´s a fun and cute reading and I totally recommended it.
I received a copy from NetGalley, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Beth, after a recent divorce, can’t find a good man. When her neighbor, Jonathan, moves into the apartment above hers, that fact is pushed in. He seems to have a very happy social life. He spies her one day when the elevator stops at her floor. They meet and enjoy each other’s company until a misunderstanding about Beth’s work comes up.
Opinion
This is a really cute, short book. The relationship, not just physically, moves quicker than the average couple does. Since I know couples who have moved that fast, it’s within the realm of reality. I love that these two are so drawn to each other and that their jobs complement each other. (Though I was a bit confused in the beginning as to why Jonathan had to travel so much as an artist.)
Overall, I really enjoyed the book and will be look forward to more in the series.
Many thanks to Net Galley for providing me with an ARC of this book.

I just wanted to give a BIG thanks to Netgalley and Nancy Fraser for letting me read this steamy book and giving my honest review. This definitely heated up my days here in cold Colorado!

Synopsis:

Beth Andrews has given up on ever finding a happily-ever-after. Still smarting from a bitter divorce, she’s decided the only thing she truly needs is sex.

Unfortunately, wanting sex and actually finding it are two very different things.

Jonathan Tucker is perfectly satisfied with his bachelor lifestyle. He has a wonderful career, a kick-ass new condo, and any woman he wants. As often as he wants. At twenty-seven, he’s convinced he’s living life exactly as it should be.

Will the older, albeit sexy, ad executive and the handsome, talented artist both find there’s more to life than what they have now? Or, will they be satisfied with what the both claim to want—d*mn near perfect sex!

I just want to say this book did not hold back in jumping into the hot and steamy sex right off the bat... Or so we think. Beth just got out of a nasty divorce with her ex husband who scum of the earth and try to take everything away from her, but she did not let him take away everything. She is this beautiful woman who is 35 and still has a killer body. She continues to date these men who are well near or over a decade older than her, but none of them seem to stroke her fire/libido. Then like a wrecking ball comes her 27 year old neighbor, and let's just say things start looking up.

I am giving this book 3.5 stars because I do love how it is reversed on the age where the woman is older than the man and how she is strong set in her life about how she wants things to go. She is a woman that knows what she wants and how she is going to get it. I do love how there is this innocence about her, but yet she is fierce and determined. I love how the guy worships her body and treats her like the sexy woman that she is! I quite enjoyed how their relationship developed and how there is a sense of something new there and some hope!
What I wish was there is more character development and timeline development. There is a lot of gaps in timeline development, and honestly more to the story! I wanted to see how more of it went!!

I will definitely read more of these books in the future!

Unfortunately, not a great book. Very little story, which did not help the characters emotionally connect. Mostly just sex scenes, and those weren't all that great or believable. Disappointed.

A short and fast read, involving an older woman/younger man. The story is a little on the weak side, but if you live for sex scenes and plenty of them, then you will like this book. Beth is a divorcee who is not looking for love, just dating and maybe a hook up. Then she meets her neighbor, Tucker and everything changes.

It was a super fast read. Hot sex scenes and little plot beyond.

Hot steamy full of erotic scenes but all these wrapped in an enjoyable fast paced humorous story. In a phrase... I loved it. I couldn't let my tablet/book down. The perfect story for a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Extremely short and interesting story that is read in one breath. The love affair that begins between the sheets, as a small erotic symphony is not a novelty in literature, but it must be noted that this short book is presented in a very exciting way, actions that change quickly and do not allow the reader to get bored. As expected from the cover and the title itself, the book will not disappoint you in terms of sexy scenes, which are perceived so realistically that they manage to excite every reader. The development of emotional feelings and attachment between the two main characters is only subtly suggestive and is not accentuated at all until almost the very end, something which I actually missed.

Beth, a successful executive, sexy woman in the best years of her life, finds herself stuck in a rut after a divorce, very emotionally and sexually frustrated. The marathon erotic encounters of her neighbor, Johnatan do not help her at least a little to make her everyday life easier, nor are the nights filled with sexy sounds of lust and satisfaction that can be heard from his apartment. The ways she tries to solve her sexual frustration are actually hilarious.

Slightly expected to happen, but very interesting at the same time, the sexy neighbor appears on her doorstep with a bottle of wine in her hands. It doesn't take much for them to start getting to know each other intimately and physically. A real fireworks happen during their first sex encounter.

After a few days, hot, passionate sex, they appear to ignore each other, only to be even more passionate during his art exhibition. A problem, a misunderstanding happens somewhere in the middle, as it is expected, but nothing that cannot be solved when it is really wanted and desired.

Their chemistry is dynamic and simply overwhelming, and with that, and the language in which their intimate moments are perceived is strong enough for you to be able to feel them yourself.

This is an intoxicating novel. Passion, flirting and love are perfectly combined to create an exciting, fast reading.

The publisher provided ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Beth cannot stop fantasizing over her neighbor jonathan after overhearing his many trysts. She jumps at the chance tonhave a fling with him, but falls hard and fast for his charm. Damn near perfext was a fast read. I really enjoyed the story and loved Beth & Jonathan together. We had plenty of Beth's story- I would have enjoyed a bit more of Jonathan's backstory as well.
