In all the books are kind of a medical soap opera, ergo it's more unnecessary drama, steamy scenes than anything grittier or romantic.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book received from the publisher via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I have never read anything from Melanie A. Smith so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was definitely pleasantly surprised and can say I will be reading more from her! These books were a lot of fun and I flew through them. If you are looking for romance, look no further.
The Heart of Rutherford: Life Lessons Novels 1 – 3 are my first read by new to me Melanie A. Smith and I have to say I look forward to exploring much more by this wonderful author. Dynamic characters and engaging story kept me reading all three books in one sitting. I will be recommending these stories to others.
Thank you Net Galley for a copy of this trilogy. Life Lessons Trilogy by Melanie A. Smith is a fun read about 3 best friends and their romance. I enjoyed them all but I think she saved the best for last. Noah and Jules were adorable characters. Reading their love story made my heart soar!
If you’re looking for a great set of romance books with enough steam to make you blush, this set is for you. I enjoyed having all of the stories in one place. It was great to see how the characters were doing as the stories progressed. I liked how each story was told from the main woman’s perspective. The bonus epilogue was fantastic. Highly recommend reading this!!
Thanks to the publisher & NetGalley for the advanced copy in exchange for my honest review
I received a free copy from netgalley in exchange for an hobest review. I dont have a lot to say about this book. This does contain 3 novels all set at Rutherford hospital. You have the story of a nurse and cardiac surgeon. A medical assistant and orderly. And finally a Np and the son of the owner of the hospital. This was a enjoyable read with nothing intense and no real problems. Its a good book when you just want a simple romance novel and don't want to think.
This collection follows the personal and professional lives of best friends Sasha, Becca, & Jules- each getting their own turn as the star of the story. They work together in the cardiac unit of Rutherford Hospital where there is no shortage of drama. Sasha is crushing hard on the new doctor, Becca can't stay away from the bad-boy orderly, amd Jules is fighting her attraction to one of the top administrators. All of there stories intersect and will keep you entertained.
I had already read (and loved) the 3rd book in this series prior to receiving this anthology. I was excited to see the full collection available on netgalley. Luckily I saved book to read over the weekend as I could not put it down. In one day I read both Sasha & Becca's stories and re-skimmed Jules story. I'm so glad there were new bonus epilogues included in this collection. I grew atrached to these characters and I enjoyed having an addendum of their stories.
