This is a perfect fit for readers who adore lighthearted, emotional, and romantic stories about the complexities of relationships, self-discovery, and the beauty of second chances, as they will be swept away by the tender and passionate journey of Taylor and Pierce as they navigate the blurred lines between friendship and love.
I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide me review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.
Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.
However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x
When I think of romance, I think of books just like this one, that gives all the feels and satisfies every romance junkies' heart. This is a perfect book to snuggle up with on any day.
This book was just okay. It was a friends to lovers with no strings attached trope. It felt that it dragged on because both of them had feelings for each other way before they decided to only have sex and decide to not bring up those feelings. It was frustrating.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the eARC.
Pierce and Taylor aren't "just friends." They're the best of friends, and have been forever. When an attraction develops, they decide to explore it and let it run its course—just until Taylor leaves for Paris at the end of the summer. Her dream is to become a full-time artist, and that dream is finally coming true. But is there a way for Pierce to fit into her new life?
Pierce and Taylor are well-drawn characters, and the emotion is strong between them. The heat level is high, but the plot is on the quiet side. If you like low-angst, feel-good romance, this might be a good choice for you.
Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.
I enjoyed this friends to lovers romance. Taylor and Pierce have been best friends since high school. Now, Taylor can’t wait to get away and Pierce is happy where he is. One night, they make a pact - they’re going to be summer lovers, friends with benefits. Can their friendship survive, or will it turn into something more?
The chemistry between the two children was intense. Jennifer Probst writes characters that feel like friends, one of the reasons I read her books. Her plots are believable and keep the reader engaged. This was a perfect summer read! 4 stars.
Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own
Loved this series and this book. It is my favourite of the 3 books. Love a good friends to lovers story and what’s a love story without bumps in the road to each other, this one definitely had one which had me rooting hard for the pair. A definite must read!!
I loved this book! Jennifer Probst really knows how to bring a book to life. I was so captivated from beginning until end! Can't wait for her next book!!
Very cute and fun finally in the Sunshine Sister Series.
I really enjoyed all of the books an equal amount, and this third book was very well done.
Probst created wonderful Characters with the Sunshine sisters and their love interests in the Wedding Business made the entire series such a fun adventure.
If you want a well done romance series, I highly recommend this series.
What i should say is that i wouldn't recommend reading this book if you haven't read the first two books in the series. You can, but you are missing a good amount of background informations not only about all the characters mentioned in this book but also the background of and between the sisters since each sister has their own book and this is the last of the set.
Very well done book and such a nice romance read!
An absolutely gorgeous story from start to finish, I loved this friends to lovers trope.
Taylor and Pierce, best friends from the outset, make a pact at high school to not ever jeopardise their close relationship by becoming romantically connected.
That is until one evening over a decade later when one thing leads to another and this pact is broken. Incredibly conscious not to spoil their life long friendship, these two characters do their utmost however it doesn’t come without a few ups and downs along the way. The support these two show for each other is incredibly admirable and I routed for both of them throughout the novel,
Full of emotion, families, friendships and dreams, Forever in Cape May is a fabulous read that I devoured in just a couple of days. This is my first Jennifer Probst book and it certainly won’t be the last!
I loved this entire series. The Sunshine sisters are quite a trio. These love stories are classic. I highly recommend reading.
This was a very cute, entertaining book. I really enjoyed it. This author is one of my favorites. I look forward to reading more of her books
Forever Cape May is part of a series, but can be read as a stand alone. You will want to go back and read about the other two sisters. Pierce and Taylor have been best friends and made a promise not to date each other. When they break that promise after a night of doing shots, they try to act like it didn’t mean anything. I enjoyed the story since its set in Cape May and I have vacationed there. A sexy beach read. Thank you to NetGalley and Montlake for the E-ARC. This is my own opinion.
Audio version
A little disappointed in this story. Not sure if it had to do with the audiobook versus reading. I liked Taylor well enough to want to see a happy ending for her and Pierce. I liked Pierce better because he was all in from go. All in all a great series.
I enjoyed this book as much as Jennifer Probst's others! I really enjoy friends to lovers and this one was well done. It stood alone just fine despite being part of a series!
This was an awesome story in this series and I have read both of the previous books. This is a story about Taylor and Pierce and I really enjyed the story but I hated that I have to say goodbye to all the characters in this story.
This is a besties finding love but also where Taylor will be leaving soon as she finally has fulfilled her obligation to her two sisters. Pierce is happy in there small town and does not want to do the traveling that she does but he is sad that he will lose his best friend when she leaves town. Until one kiss changes everything for them...
This was my favorite in the series. It was romantic and hot and I loved getting inside Taylor and Pierce's heads and watching how they could make both their dreams work for them. I also loved catching up with the other sisters and their spouses from the previous books.
Taylor is a Artist and Pierce is a photographer. Best friends living in a small town. One night these to have one to many and wake up wondering how they ended up in bed. When they agreed to keep sleeping together all best are off. Can this work? What happens when it’s over? This book had great premise but unfortunately it dragged a lot at the beginning for me. I’m normally a big fan of this author. I will Definitely keep reading her books.
The third book in the series and just as fun to read as the first two. Pierce and Taylor’s friendship cross over was filled with all of the obstacle that a person afraid of change would throw up. Pierce afraid to rock the boat until he can’t hold back. Their banter is hysterical. The love they share is beautiful, their friendship one made of dreams. Falling in love with your best friend is always the best type of romance to have. Now this book is gonna make you smile and laugh out loud. It will also make you cry and get mad. So if you are like me and are prone to outbursts while reading, be warned this book will make all of those things happen. The Sunshine Sisters will steal you heart and Mae you laugh. I think of the three this is one is my favorite! Pierce and Taylor loving just as passionate as the art they display.
This book written by Author Jennifer Probst is a wonderful, heartfelt summer fling romance!
Taylor has put her dreams on hold, but when things start developing with her friend, Pierce…the summer sun isn’t the only thing heating up Cape May, New Jersey!
Jennifer Probst writes with a wonderful flow of words, a great character description, and a very enjoyable storyline. This can be read as a standalone, although it is the 3rd book in the Sunshine Sisters series. 4.25 stars!
Jennifer Probst is one of my favorite authors and this definitely reminded me of why. I love the Sunshine sisters and have been waiting for Taylor and Pierce's story FOREVER. It did not disappoint. I laughed, I cried, and I totally fell in love with these two. 10/10 highly recommend!
