Zoey Parker’s life changes one night in college. It is days later when she is shown by her two friends a video that was being aired around campus. Her final months of college were horrible and her dreams of becoming a veratrin were stopped. Now working at a pet salon and actually with two real friends it is two years later. She lives in Brooklyn wanting to do one more thing and then go home to Colorado where she is from.
The night at the sex club is all exclusive you must be a member and pay a high membership fee. Only the wealthy belong. This night though the main attraction is a man is to take a virgin in the middle of the club. All wearing masks it is when the female and the male eyes met that an attraction is felt. That is intensified as they begin and before you know it is like they are the only ones there. Before that connection, she lifted her mask just enough so her two video takers from college see her and leave in shock. She is surprised when the man she is with is actually the owner of the club is Rhy, now Zoey who is asked to stay leaves when no one is looking.
Here is when the story becomes good for the next day his security man shows up at her place to bring her back to the club. He finds out how she was able to get into the security and other parts of the club and Rhy is actually intrigued by her. The two of them become an item and for someone who did not want to be seen, she allowed herself to be seen a few more times. This turns out to be a good one and with all of the different characters this really adds to the flow of the story. I can’t wait for the story with Elsie and Archer for he met his match with her. A good story with hot sex scenes.

I love this book! The characters are fantastic. Rhys and Zoey have chemistry off the charts. Both have pain in their pasts and see something in each other. This is a fast read that packs quite a punch. There are hard subjects that are handled beautifully. There is a lot of sexy romance with plenty of steam. A budding relationship that has a sweetness. And friendships that are both heartwarming and fun. I can't wait for Elise and Archer's book.

Smoking hot storyline and characters. Watch Me is another well-written story by Ms. Kennedy. It had all the elements that make an excellent romance with a dash of spice.

Zoey and Rhys's beginning is not normal but the way their story evolved was so sweet. This book was full of sex, drama, love, empowerment. I'll definitely be reading more of Stacey's books!

My first by this author but definitely not my last. I really enjoyed it. I wish there were more pages because it felt like it was over so quickly since I devoured it in one sitting. Would recommend it! A hot read with some uncomfortable subject matter but that stuff doesn’t bother me. Just be aware of the trigger warning. If you don’t have any, then this book is for you.

I received an advanced reader copy of this book to leave an honest review. I have not read this author before so took a chance to see if I liked it. Overall a very well written book; story line is easy to follow and does not jump around. I will say this book does touch on some very difficult situations (sexual assault/rape/etc.) so be prepared for that.

This book follows Zoey, a woman who was sexually violated (not raped) in college, as she tries to take back her sexual confidence. To do that, Zoey finds a way into an elite sex club to prove to the two men who violated that they didn't break her. Little does she know, that the man who is the other star of the "show" she participates in, is the owner of the club Rhys. Rhys is immediately intrigued by Zoey when he realizes she has an agenda that isn't just for pleasure. It becomes his goal to make her happy and confident so she can date again and be happy in her own skin. Neither anticipates the connection they make or how they will both change their plans to stay together.

Overall a great read. A lot of sexual scenes with voyeuristic tendencies so be prepared for that. And as I mentioned earlier, there are situations of sexual assault.

Overall would recommend.

Watch Me was just what I needed. It was a quick read with an easy plot to follow. I enjoyed getting to know the characters. Rhys and Zoey were an unlikely couple to say the least. However, maybe it's their differences that makes them such a good match.

Rhys owns and operates the Phoenix club. It's a secret sex club where members are vetted and screened before they are allowed in. Everything is to protect their anonymity, that of other members and the club itself. Rhys comes from old family money and starts this club to fill a void for himself and realizes it helps others as well. He always maintains a distance from women. He has strict rules about only being with a woman once, no repeats. He refuses to attach himself to a woman as he's been hurt in the past. It's all only about sex for him. Until he meets Zoey that is...

Zoey is struggling with relationships in general. She was drugged and photographed at a college party and then it was blasted all over social media. It emotionally scarred her and affected her ability to trust others, particularly men. She decides upon revenge against the two men who went unpunished for the incident. To accomplish this, she finds her way into Rhys' club and inevitably his heart.

Rhys and Zoey are two broken people who don't believe they can have a successful relationship. However, against all odds, they find one another. This was a feel good read. Even though it may not be realistic, sometimes it's nice to see everything work out the way you want it to. It was a nice HEA for these two. Now, I'm looking forward to the next book in the series which will be about Zoey's friend, Elise and Rhys' friend, Archer. These two have some crazy competitive chemistry going on and the book should be fun.

This book. Guys, seriously...this book. I looooved this book! This was my first time reading anything by Stacey Kennedy. I was not disappointed! The book felt short...but in a good way. There was no drag or lag in plot that made me want to put the book down and come back to it later, which has seemed to happen to me a lot lately. The main characters are both so loveable. Both slightly damaged and seeking fulfillment without knowing it. Loved the plot and the premise to this book. Can't wait til the next one in the series! I would definitely recommend this book to others.

3 Intricate Healing Stars
* * * Spoiler Free-A Quick Review
Stacey Kennedy has written some solid reads for me. She is the queen of Sexy Times crossed with more depth than the usual sexy genre.

The idea is about a woman who has survived sexual assault, takes back her power, and to show those responsible, she is still owning who she is. She has decided to do this at the Phoenix, a sex club.

Not a usual choice for most.

The owner of the club is attracted to this woman in his club. He normally does not play with someone like her but his desire makes him break all his rules. He becomes involved with this woman and when he learns of her reasons for her actions, he becomes firmly in her corner.

There are sexy time, insight into hard experiences, and specific choices as to how they are handled.

This is the beginning of a new series for Ms. Kennedy.

Steamy and delightful! With the first book in her brand new Phoenix series Stacey Kennedy brings on the heat with an emotional story line when a plot for revenge turns into more than was bargained for. I loved this story and look forward to more to come in the series!

Zoey Parker takes matters into her own hands in a vary unorthodox way in order to seek revenge on a wrong done to her that changed her life forever. Her secrets come back to bite her when her subterfuge is uncovered and a powerful man is unhappy that he was used ... until he learns her story and then it's game over.

Rhys Harrington is a powerful and accomplished man, but he doesn't like secrets. When he learns what propelled Zoey to hide her true intentions, he sets out to help her find comfort in the life and passion she has to give, even if it's only short term.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys an emotional read with dark currents below the surface and lots of passionate give and take. Looking forward to the next in the series!

Even though there was some pretty kinky stuff going on in this book (I'm talking BDSM/voyeurism, which is usually not my cup of tea), I surprisingly absolutely LOVED everything about this!
This was about so much more than just sex. This was about justice, mpowerment and mutual respect, and let me just tell you that Rhys is absolute perfection!
I especially loved the second half of the book (less sex, more emotions).

I desperately need book 2 because I'm so ready to get a closer look at the interesting dynamic between Archer and Elise!

I went into this book expecting an entertaining, steamy quick read. And it is that, but not much more. The premise felt forced, I never quite bought why Zoey thought her plan would be a great revenge. Somehow these terrible guys are supposed to care or be affected by whether or not she was a virgin? And then the insta-love, another part that just felt forced. Obviously, insta-love is a common device for this type of book, but I feel it doesn't work when there's nothing added beyond the "telling" to show why the characters have such amazing, insane, out of this world chemistry. And then there's the pacing. It was rushed, and it added to this sense that I had to sustain suspended disbelief throughout the whole book. Overall, the attempt at women's empowerment didn't ring true because the base the story was built on was shaky at best.

I was expecting a lot more from this book, given the description. I thought it would be much more of a thriller or have elements or suspense with the idea that Zoey needed protection from something bad. That issue was pretty much resolved immediately and all that was left of the story was insta love. And I mean INSTA love. Engaged within a month. I enjoyed both Rhys and Zoey as characters and believed them together, but also, I think they only had two dates together and that was enough for them to be totally in love. It was just a bit much, and I am not someone who generally shy's away from insta love. The steaminess was pretty good, but overall the book was too quick to feel believable.

This is an extremely erotic story that begins as a victory for Zoey. She's out for justice, and wants to claim her life back. Rhys is just the man to help her do that. He's wealthy, handsome, and full of the type of knowledge that Zoey could benefit from. When the two of these embark on a sexual relationship, it changes both their lives in more ways than they could imagine. Their chemistry is smoking hot! Rhys says and does all the right things so well, that Zoey is thinking of changing her plans. Can't wait to read the next book in the series!

Stacey Kennedy is pure bliss and magic with the sexy sexy.

I am super emotional right now over this story. I was taken by surprise with the path that Stacey chose for both Zoey and Rhys because of its depth of emotion. The empowerment and the growth and triumph that this story portrays is a thing of beauty.

I went into this book with admittedly low expectations but I was pleasantly surprised by it! There was more depth to the story than simply the smut (although that was definitely good!). The characters were well fleshed out and some important issues were tackled. It was easy to fly through and a great mindless quick read.

However, I did not like the emphasis that was placed on virginity and felt that it was unnecessary. It felt especially out of place when compared to the attempted women empowerment throughout. That being said, I didn’t go into this expecting a wholly unproblematic and intricate novel so it didn’t detract from my experience too much. My main problem was simply that I didn’t connect with the characters or their romance. I cared more for some the side characters than our main couple. It was definitely a case of some serious insta love if that bothers you.

Overall, this was a little out of my comfort zone and not my typical read, but if this sounds like your thing I would recommend!

Watch Me by Stacey Kennedy is the First book in the Phoenix Series. This is the story of Zoey Parker and Rhys Harrington. Rhys is a owner of the exclusive sex club called Phoenix. When there are special cases such as a innocence women that is looking to enter his business world he overseas how she is handled. This leads him to meet Zoey who is entering into his club to get her self back, seek to get revenge and then to go back to her normal life. Zoey was taken advantage of and is working to get herself back. Rhys is immediately intrigued and attracted to Zoey. This leads him to break his own rule of not mixing business with pleasure. I am such a fan of this author writing. Ms. Kennedy always give you a steamy read for sure but also some good story-lines that keep you wanting to turn the page. I will be reading more of her books in the future.

As a fan of BDSM and kink, I was excited when I got the chance to read Watch Me by Stacey Kennedy. It certainly didn't let me down!
Note: I am grateful to Kennedy for putting the CW's in the front of her book. More authors need to do this.
To be completely honest, I was hesitant about how into this story I would be. The premise felt contrived when I started in but I was so glad to see I was wrong. I've read stories where an alpha male helps the sweet, battered and broken virgin overcome her hang ups and trauma and by the second sex scene she is miraculously cured by his amazing penis. Kennedy, thankfully, doesn't do this at all.
Watch Me is a sexy romance that goes deeper – helping not only Zoey overcome her pain but also Rhys. I was very impressed at how well Kennedy wrote about the aftermath of traumatic experiences. Zoey’s fear was very real on the page – something I related to and could practically check off a list the number of issues so many of us who have had past sexual trauma deal with. It felt very real without making the pain she felt a fetish. At no point was Zoey’s past made into a kink or something to get off on. Instead all the sex is focused on consent, healing, and pleasure.
If someone wants to write a healing romance that includes a character recovering from past sexual abuse, I’d hold Watch Me up as the goal.
As for the billionaire love interest tropes – they were all on point. Fans of this subgenre of steamy romance will definitely enjoy this story – including a few twists I haven’t see in other work of the same flavor.
The only thing that left me cool was the timeline. It is acknowledged that Zoey and Rhys move fast, so it’s not expected for readers to ignore it. I think I would have enjoyed it more if the realism I experienced in the characters flowed into that part of the story as well. But this was a tiny matter that didn’t ruin it for me.
I am now a fan of the Phoenix series. The next book, Keep Me, focuses on my 2 favorite characters from Watch Me – Elise, a PI, and Archer, Phoenix’s security guy. I love hackers and PIs so they’re right up my alley plus the playful banter, enemies-to-lovers fun between them is sure to make for a fun follow up!

Amazing Stacey! Laughed at some of their friends antics... But the story really got me...this one one book you don't want to put down!

I was delighted when I unexpectedly got a NetGalley ARC of this book. It's my first story by Stacey but it won't be my last. Wow what a hot story. Be warned it is about a woman who was drugged and assaulted at a frat party then bullied on social media by her assailants. This is her story of healing and victory over that event. What a strong story full of fabulous characters. Zoey is surrounded by supportive roommates and Rhys' has a friend circle that is his family. I now have to read each of their stories.

Zoey wants to feel like she's in control of her life and fear. She's been tormented and her whole life has been changed by her attack. Thanks to the skillset of her roommates, Hazel is a reporter and Elise is a PI, Zoey will be the virgin star of Phoenix's next sex show. Phoenix is a voyeur sex club owned by Rhys Harrington in NYC. She's set this up to get revenge on the two men who assaulted her in college that are now members of the club. Rhys always participates in the sensitive shows at his club to protect those who are vulnerable. He is my perfect hero - a guardian protector. who has issues of his own He quickly ascertains there is more going on with the show and digs to find the story with the help of his friends. He is drawn to Zoey and is determined to help her heal. Their chemistry is off the charts.

Rhys stepped down as the CEO of his family's wealthy finance company and turned it over to his cousin William. Rhys opened a cigar club with a secret sex club below. Since he lost his fiance in college he seeks to help people live out their fantasies and have a full life without regrets. He has created a family of friends around him that all share his voyeur desires, Archer, his head of security and former Navy SEAL, Kieran, a firefighter and Hunt a homicide detective. He recognizes Zoey's pain and fear immediately and his protective instincts kick in. And so begins their journey.

I voluntarily read and reviewed and reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
