I have only read one other book in this series so definitely haven’t followed in the right order but that doesn’t matter, each book can be read on its own if you want to.

Main characters Molly and Cam meet at a hotel and after a quick spark between them, they end up having a one night stand. Cam is gone before Molly wakes up though and she knows very little about him apart from his name and that he’s a dentist. The story picks up 3 months later and Molly finds herself in a bit of a situation and before she knows it, Cam pops up out of nowhere and she has a lot to figure out.

Firstly, I loved Molly as a character. She had a career, great friends and was happy with how her life was for the most part. She was a strong woman and that was great to read. Molly was also really likeable and I think that helped me to get hooked in the book so quickly.

The setting of Primrose Park is fantastic because there are so many other wonderful characters to discover. I know some of these will have been in previous books but if you haven’t read them you won’t be missing any important details. If anything, it just makes me want to read the other books now.

Primrose Park wasn’t your average romance and there are some great twists and a sort of unexpected ending.

I would recommend reading the first book in the series, Love Heart Lane as they all seen to be a good read...

I would recommend reading Primrose Park to lovers of Romantic Comedy and Contemporary Romance, as it is a fun easy read with a heart warming message when the small community comes to the aid of others...
I look forward to reading future books in the series and will have to, Love Heart Lane as soon as I can...

Another in the fantastic Love Lane series, these really are a great read. The characters come to life and you feel as though you are with them as well. Jo has produced another very well written novel and I hope she can still come up with more. 5 stars and I recommend this.

Molly is the local vet. She's independent, hardworking and committed to her business. After meeting Cam she finds herself in a situation she never expected and yet she still brings the community together.

Primrose Park is the next book in Christie Barlow’s romance Love Heart Lane series. This series is one of my favorites. All of the books are light-hearted and so much fun to read. Primrose Park is no different.

The main character, Molly, is a vet. Once I read this I knew I was going to love this book. Being an animal lover myself, it’s always fun to read about this occupation. She is given an unruly dog whose name does not fit the personality…Darling. The antics with the dog are hilarious and had me laughing out loud.

As for the romance portion, when she is at a conference she meets gorgeous Cam. The connection is instant and she knows she’s finally found the man for her.

As with all of the other books by the author, I loved Primrose Park. I laughed, cried, and found myself with a huge smile when I finished. During a very stressful week, the book lifted my spirits immediately.

I highly recommend not only this book, but all of the other books in the Love Heart Lane series. You son’t be disappointed.

It is always great when you get an author who love reading and the y create a place and a set of characters you can return to time and time again. And so that is the case with Primrose Park for our sixth visit to the wonderful village of Heartcross and the surrounding area.

Vet, Molly has one main focus in her life, her career, she has worked hard to get where she has considering her past and she is always looking to develop her skills when it comes to animals. When the chance to learn more about dog behaviour she finds herself at a conference in a hotel.

What she doesn’t expect is to run head long into a handsome man called Cam and be holding his boxers within minutes of meeting him. The attraction is clear and sparks are almost flying off the page. Abandoning dog behaviour for one night is not all that bad – is it? But the next morning Cam is gone.

For the next few months Molly is distracted by the man that made her heart stop and she knows there must be more to find out, but then how does she find him when she knows nothing but his name and occupation. So life continues, but Molly is in for one or two surprises in the coming months.

Playing on her goodwill, Molly finds herself stuck with Darling the dog, after Birdie says her mother Dixie can no longer cope with her. So she has enough to keep her busy until she meets that man again in Primrose Park…..

All of a sudden Molly is in turmoil again and she turns to her friends and familiar faces to readers if you have read all the previous novels, (This works as a standalone) help her come to terms with Cam returning. Does Molly have time to become involved with this man, especially as he seems to have some connection to the village, to Birdie, Dixie and even Darling the dog.

Christie Barlow has done it again with a book full of warmth and community and adds in for good measure some tough drama as well. It is certainly not all light and fluffy. I loved Molly she simply jumped off the page and her relationship with her female friends was genuine and strong and nothing in the book felt forced. The tough subjects were shocking but it is always good to be reminded that not everyone in the world is nice but you don’t have to worry when the community of Heartcross pull together then make sure everyone benefits from all of the good that they can do.

One of the best of the series so far and I am delighted that there are at least a couple more to come, I love going back and visiting my friends. If you are looking for a series to get lost in, I highly recommend this one.

This was a fantastic read and the second in the series I have read and can not wait to read the rest. I read the book before which was the lake house. I would suggest you can read them alone but once you get into the book it's nice to meet the characters and follow other stories this one is about Molly the vet and her bad luck with men. It's a really good read that I could not put down.

Molly & Cam meet in a parking lot when his boxers fall out of his bag. That begins a quick flirtation & attraction that leads to a quick night. Molly though that they connected on all possible fronts, Cam, on the other hand, may have been hiding some things from Molly. As luck would have it, 3 months after their one night stand, Cam moves to the town that Molly lives & works in. Cam is aloof at first, still hiding a lot from Molly, but there is nefarious work happening in regards to Cam’s grandmother & Molly is the first to suspect something isn’t right. Will Cam & Molly be able to help each other? Will they move on together? Will Darling, Cam’s grandmother’s fussy Jack Russell terrier ever become less angry? There is a lot afoot in this rom com with a mysterious twist.

Primrose Park has all the perfect ingredients for a suspenseful rom com read. Molly & Cam have a fast attraction immediately followed by guilt & infatuation. It has a whodunit feel that leaves you wanting to find out who did it. There is also glimpses of sadness when it’s revealed that Cam & his ex wife went through multiple rounds of IVF with no success, but multiple losses. A part that I really appreciated was that the infertility wasn’t placed on just one character, it was placed on Cam & his ex. Cam took the brunt of the fault, but his ex wife also couldn’t carry a baby full term. This was a fun story that I couldn’t put down! I’m looking forward to reading more in this series.

Another enjoyable instalment in the Love Heart Lane series, bringing back familiar characters and introducing some new ones. Who could fail to love poor little Darling the badly behaved dog or form an instant dislike for his temporary owner Birdie? This is another tale of the community coming together in a project just as in the first book, but it's a romance too. The one thing that jarred with me was the similarity in the names of Allie, Albie and Alfie, especially when they were all in the same scene!

I’m a little late to this one, as this is the 6th book of the Love Heart Lane series, but it read really well as a stand alone. Now, I can’t wait to read the others and find out more about the characters I came across whilst reading this.

This was a very easy and good feel read. A typical heart warming story, but with a very realistic and current day theme. I loved the main character Molly and went through all the emotions of her story. Like any good book of this genre, I also enjoyed the comical scenes with Dixie and Darling!

Moving and real. These characters have become like friends of mine I feel so closely connected to them and their lives in this beautiful story.

Visits to Heartcross always deliver us up a great story and Primrose Park is no exception. Family and friendship are at the centre once more and as well as catching up with familiar characters, there are new ones centre stage. Molly and Cam have great chemistry from the beginning so it was no surprise when their paths crossed again.

Molly fits in beautifully alongside the others we have come to know. She is independent and determined to succeed but also kindhearted. Being a vet, she is able to stand on her own two feet and you find out that although she is alone, family does mean a lot to her. Cam seems a little harder to read at first. The feisty character of his grandmother, Dixie adds humour as of course does her four-legged friend, Darling. The setting is as gorgeous and welcoming as ever. With some great characters and bags of heart, this is another lovely read.

When you pick up a Love Heart Lane book you know you are in for a fun light hearted read.

This time we follow vet Molly who meets Cam at a hotel when she is on an animal Behaviour course. When life throws Molly more than she bargained for her friends rally round to help. She also meets Dixie who has been put in a home against her wishes. Dixie wants to have her birthday party in Primrose Park but it is vandalised two weeks before her birthday.

There is lots to like about this book. There is a wrong to put right where Dixie is concerned, romance, friendship and a village who unite to help get the park back to its former glory. I am really looking forward to the next book in this series

A magnificent story, full to the brim with love and romance. A stunning read, full of twists and turns, that simply cannot be missed. A chance to catch up with a host of treasured characters, whilst being introduced to an assortment of new personalities, whom I’m certain will be loved equally.

I have loved all the other books in the Love Heart Lane series of books , so this instalment had a lot to live up to, although I was confident before I even started, that Primrose Park would realise my expectations. When a book like this gets delivered to my Kindle, I am full of regret about commitments like work, that stop me from starting reading immediately. Unsurprisingly I was not disappointed, with another amazing, faultless read from Christie Barlow. Please, bring on the next instalment in the series soon!

Molly is a vet with an interest in dog behaviour; thinking of offering her services in this domain, she attends a course to teach her all about it, held at a lovely hotel. It’s here that she meets Cam, who is everything that she could want in a male stranger!

Molly ends up having a one night stand with Cam, although she is shocked to wake up at 7am the next morning I find Cam gone; when she checks his room (they had adjoining rooms, with a connecting door), she is further shocked to find that he really has packed up and gone. She silently acknowledges that she actually knew nothing about him, not even his surname or where he lived.

3 months later, Molly finds herself being roped into taking on Darling, a Jack Russell belonging to Birdie’s Mother Dixie, who has gone into a home. Her Nephew is going to rent her cottage, but can’t take on Darling. The day she takes Darling home, the girls around for drinks in the evening and they decide, due to her symptoms, that she is pregnant and it must have been down to the encounter with Cam. Despite having talked semi seriously to her friends about conceiving a baby using a sperm donor, the reality of a pregnancy is a bit of a shock to Molly!

Molly encounters Cam again in embarrassing circumstances, on more than one front; not only is Darling showing her up in the middle of a dog training class, but she throws herself into the mud, as Darling runs into Cam’s path, as she tried to grab Darling! Strangely Cam doesn’t seem to recognise Molly and seems to be a completely different character; very grumpy and not even breaking a smile!

Molly has been holding her dog training classes in Primrose Park, a beautiful park, of which many locals have fond memories. Sadly the park gets vandalised, putting Dixie’s plans for an 80th birthday party there, at the bandstand, into jeopardy. Ignoring her GP’s advice, to rest, Molly starts a community campaign to try and get Primrose Park out back to right, in time for Dixie’s birthday celebrations.

Dixie confides in Molly that she has been out into her home against her will. After conversations with Birdie, Didue’s Mother, she starts to feel that something about Dixie’s story rings true.

So many questions, but you will have to buy this great book for yourself to find the answers to questions such as whether Molly will tell Cam about the baby, whether they have a future together and whether if not Birdie is plotting against Dixie?

Whenever I find myself in need of a heartwarming, light hearted read, I know I can certainly rely on Christie Barlow to provide me with such a book.

Molly knows little of this man, only part of his name, so she writes it off as a lost cause and assumes she will never see him again. Several months later, as Molly takes a stroll through Primrose park, the last thing she expects is to come face to face with her handsome stranger again, but it seems as though the time they spent together meant nothing to him.

Feeling heartbroken and deflated by it all, Molly turns to her friends for support, but as they rally around and try to cheer her up it seems there is a surprise in store for Molly..

This is such a beautiful story emphasising the importance of friendship, family and hope. The leading characters were wonderfully developed and you really feel as though you connect with them as you learn more about their lives as the story progresses. The storyline itself flows beautifully from beginning to end, so much so I found myself reading long in to the night as I simply could not part with the world which was brought to life before me.

Heartwarming and overflowing with love, this story is a breath of fresh air and the escapism I so desperately needed.

Molly is a career driven, independent woman. She loves being a vet, and her veterinary practice is her sole focus, caring for the animals in her community. When the opportunity to do some new training comes up, she jumps at the chance - she is keen to ensure that everyone has the opportunity for a loving relationship with their dogs, even the more difficult ones! A random encounter with a handsome stranger at the training conference makes her question if she actually does want something more in her life, but her night of passion ends abruptly when he vanishes the next morning, leaving Molly with nothing but his first name - Cam.

Three months later, Cam is never far from her thoughts. Whilst she is not one for one night stands, she knows they had an amazing connection - so when he turns up in Heartcross Molly cannot believe her luck! Until of course, he makes it quite clear it really was just a one night stand...for Molly though it will never just be a one night stand, when she finds her situation changing dramatically - it could be said that she finds herself with a lifelong commitment thanks to their one night together!

I was so excited to revisit Love Heart Lane - this is a series that I love. It is full of characters that we know and love, whilst learning more about a character that we are aware of, but know nothing about yet. It's like putting on your favourite jumper - its warm and comforting, and that is how Heartcross feels to me. Yet again, I was lucky enough to get an early copy of this novel, so I was able to make my sisters jealous again as they waited until publication day to get their hands on it!

Molly is such a lovely character, although I did find her a little needy at times when it came to Cam - this is easily forgiven though when you consider her raging hormones and her own upbringing. She is keen to create her own family, and I can understand her reasons for wanting Cam to be a part of that.

Primrose Park is an excellent addition to the Love Heart Lane series, and I am more than happy to recommend it to you all! So grab yourself a hot chocolate (because quite frankly it's still chilly, despite now being May!), a blanket, and a copy of this lovely book!

Molly, wants a baby but the only way she can do that is via a sperm donor and on a work convention bumps into the sexy Cameron. However, things don't go to plan with the two but Molly ends up with a dog she didn't want and is trying to teach others how to discipline their dogs.
Molly emotions are everywhere with her hormones and shebdoesnt know what to do for the best but her heart wins and she helps Cams grandmother with some truths.
A brilliant read, I loved the duo of love and ao glad things went well. I cannot wait for heartcross castle.

When Molly McKendrick attends a conference she doesn't expect to find the man of her dreams there but pretty much from the start she is charmed by a handsome stranger. The connection between Molly and Cam is electric from the start and they share a special night of passion only for Molly to find that that next morning her handsome stranger has disappeared.

Once back home, Molly tries to forget her gorgeous stranger but fate has a habit of stepping in when you least expect it and when Molly bumps into Cam, in Primrose Park, this unexpected meeting opens up more questions than it does answers for both of them.

I raced through this story in one sitting as I thoroughly enjoyed meeting all the lovely characters who make reading Primrose Park such an absolute pleasure. Molly and Cam's relationship is made all the more intriguing by the added complications in their lives which the author skillfully weaves into the story. There's a fun element, an unashamedly romantic element and also a lovely look at all the little quirks and foibles that make up village life. I especially loved meeting Dixie, and Darling, two of my favourite characters who made me smile every time they appeared. It's not all hearts and flowers though as the author also covers some quite serious issues along the way but she does so with a lovely light touch and a flair for getting right into the heart and soul of the situation.

I am delighted to have started, albeit at book #6, this delightful journey into the Love Heart Lane series of romantic, feel-good novels. Primrose Park is a lovely, heart-warming read and is great escapism in what can seem a very grey world at times.
