I love this so much. We all know the carol "12 Days of Christmas" this is paired with BEAUTIFUL illustrations. I love the vintage feel to this book. I also loved getting to learn more about the carol, as I never knew the meaning behind it.

I loved this book based on the traditional song, the illustrations were good and made the poem come to life. This would make a lovely Christmas present with the find the hidden objects on the last page adding to the fun.

My kids and I loved reading this beautiful picture book version of the 12 Days of Christmas! The illustrations are great and we loved how everything was laid out in the book. This would be a wonderful addition to your Christmastime library, or also be a great gift!

The illustrations were very lovely, but nothing ever really said Christmas for me. But I did enjoy seeing the gifts previously mentioned make appearance in subsequent pages.

Almost every adult knows this classic Christmas song, but do your kids? Mine don’t, but they would definitely love this book! The illustrations are so colorful and detailed! I really loved the extra information about the origins of the song and the seek and find section at the end.

This book is so beautiful and definitely will be added to my Christmas book collection. 12 Days of Christmas by Lara Hawthorne takes the familiar Christmas carol and gives it a whole new vision. The illustrations are gorgeous and captivating. I love the "About the Carol" section at the end of the book where it gives more insight to the origins and meaning of the much-loved carol. Additionally, the book includes an "I Spy" page at the end, which would be SO fun to read with a child. I cannot wait to order this and have my own physical copy for my home and my kindergarten class.

This book is so beautiful! There isn’t too much to critique in the way of words with this book. I did love how the text was all in the same paragraph and same page making it easy to read (or sing!) to little kiddos. The illustrations throughout the book are so lovely. They are busy, but it made it fun to try and find some of the things in the song on the page. There’s even a search and find page in the back of the book.
Overall, I wold definitely buy this for my child, and even as gifts for other kids at Christmas time. It’s a beautiful retelling if the song!

What a gorgeous book! These illustrations are beautiful and engaging. So many things to look at and the kids find something new each time we read it. I love getting to share this beloved poem with my children.

This Christmas picture book was really fun with the non-traditional colors and the look and find aspect. The people in the book are diverse.

I just loved this picture book! It just brings to life the whole Twelve Days of Christmas song. The illustrations are cute, although a little busy, but that’s what make this book so charming. An added bonus, there’s a search and find activity at the end. What fun!

A treasure of a book that is perfect for gifting to friends and family. I definitely have to get this book to grace my coffee table during Christmas-time. An amazing five stars.

A wonderful take on the traditional Christmas carol. The 12 Days of Christmas has less-traditional drawings of a Christmas scene- not a snowflake or snowman to be seen. Lovely illustrations make this a refreshing look at the Christmas season, perfect for all children, but particularly those who live in a warmer climate and don't recognize Christmas as a time of blizzards and freezing temperatures.

What a beautiful book! I'm sure most people are familiar with the Christmas carol, "The Twelve Days of Christmas" and this is a word-for-word book. It also has a pages that explains where the carol originated.
My absolute favorite part of this book were the illustrations! I found myself wishing I could have art prints to hang on my wall during Christmas time, or to have these printed on cards to give out at the holidays.
There is also a look and find page which is also quite beautiful. Anyone can enjoy the details of each picture!
I highly recommend this beautiful book, and it would make a great gift!

Lara Hawthorne's 12 Days of Christmas is absolutely beautiful! The illustrations are captivating and each worth being their own print on your wall at home. I love the diversity in these illustrations as well - a welcome change!

What a gorgeously illustrated book celebrating the traditional song The Twelve Days of Christmas. I loved the style of the illustrations and the diversity they included.

In this edition of 12 Days of Christmas each verse comes to life with beautiful illustrations. The illustrations are really busy and gives the eyes of a child something to look at while being read or sung to.

Beautifully illustrated telling of the 12 Days of Christmas. My kids loved singing along to the pages and finding all of the items in each illustration. They especially enjoyed finding the extra special characters hidden in each scene. There's a nice history about the 12 days of Christmas at the end of the book which gives it a bit more context. It would be a great holiday gift.

This is such a cute picture book. The illustrations take the simple holiday jingle to the next level for me. It is such a joy to spend time in each picture spread to find all the little gems. It has a cozy atmosphere perfect for the season it is representing.
