I love Rosslyn Elliot's work. It is engrossing and well-told and, as to be expected, well-researched.
What I love about Elliott is that she unfolds a historical romance during key (though lesser known) events in American history. To add, her heroines are intelligent and resourceful. In this area, she very much reminds me of Elizabeth Camden.
The Westerville Whiskey War was unfamiliar to me but I found the world (and the hero's connection to it) fascinating.
