Myself and my teenager tried out some of the animals here and didn’t completely ruin them. This was easy to follow and fun. A bit of a fun update beyond the typical origami I was taught as a child.

This is a lovely little book, so colourful and appealing. It would be an ideal introduction to origami for youngsters, as the instructions are very clear and easy to follow, so you can get fantastic results straight away, and there is a great safari theme.
If you liked this, try the Origami Farm book from the same author which is just as lovely.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for letting me access an advance digital copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Five stars. A very well-planned book. As always, basic folding instructions and diagrams precede the individual projects. Sections are divided into categories: rain forest animals, desert animals, polar animals, etc. A quick fact about the animal featured is included. Sometimes, the "beginner" folders are encouraged to draw on the finished project (i.e. a tiger's stripes). Lots of fun for a rainy day. Not just for beginners!

I loved the Origami Farm book I got to review, but when I went to do this one the file was all messed up and all the pictures were gone, so I can't review it. Very sad about that, I was stoked to check this one out. If you fix your file before the archive date then I can still review it. The Origami Farm book was so fun to do, and I bet this one would be too.

A very colorful book with lots of new origami projects. At times I was a little lost with the explanation of things, the drawings are small and the font style was difficult to read. Overall a great new book to enjoy!
