This was a cute, heartwarming romance and a fast read. A fun premise with interesting characters. Kind of like a cookie cutter Hallmark movie, which isn’t exactly my cup of tea, but is a style beloved by many, so I think this is worth a read for rom-com lovers.

I am in love with this whole series!!

The sassy fun characters kept me coming back for more as I was reading it, and the fun ways that fairytales were put throughout the stories.

This is a fun, frothy, rom com! Who doesn’t love a little fairy dust to mix it up in a town called Ever After? I thought this book was light, entertaining, and cozy.

The premise was great and the synopsis hooked me. Unfortunately, the execution/writing, characters, and story fell flat for me.

I loved the concept and premise of this and thought it was really cute and fuzzy, a nice heartwarming read which kept me entertained throughout

Fairy Godmothers, Inc. was very light and cute! Not the most serious of books but it isn't meant to be. The premise of having fairy godmothers playing matchmaker to increase their love-supported magic is interesting. There's a darker implication to it that doesn't really get explored beyond using their godkids to stage a fake wedding.

Lucky and Ransom are solid enough for a magic based romcom. There are a lot of issues that are waved away that I wish had been explored more. Magic is a great explanation but sometimes I need more human answers.

This book I tried so hard to like, I really liked the concept of the Fairy Godmothers and the location of Ever After. What I didn’t like was the MC who’s main thing that she goes on about is being unlucky but her name is ironically Lucky. It just got a bit annoying tbh. I found the story a bit hard to follow.

I really wanted to enjoy this novel because it was about fairytales. However, this novel was far from magical. There were many repetitive scenes that made me struggle to finish this novel. I was also not invested in the main couple. Their romance felt forced and there was not any development to their romance. Thus, this was not the charming read that I hoped it would be.

Could not get into this one - very early on, got the 'ick' and just couldn't bring myself to power through, the fear of 'what else of an icky nature would I find further on?' keeping me in check (it was the mention of a keyring that poops - didn't find that funny at all and just totally gross!)

As someone with a sweet tooth for fairytale-themed stuff and fake dating (together with ETL, one of my fave tropes), I hit "Request" almost right away - and, even though it took me a while to read it, I'm... Okay with the book? "Fairy Godmothers, INC" is essentially a romcom in the style of Hallmark movies. Now, precisely because I'm guilty of loving that sort of movie, I won't complain about how the two mCs are wanting each other from the very first page. Instead, I missed some depth to them that made me care beyond "let's see how the plot progresses", as I didn't connect to neither Lucky nor Ransom. Then, the plot (when it was introduced when we were already at the middle of the book) didn't hold up all too well for me, and I didn't get the inclusion of Japanese folklore...? It felt a little out of place, as an afterthought kind of addition. All in all, this book went past in a blur, and although it was entertaining enough that I didn't feel the need to DNF it, I wouldn't pick it up again.

An enchanted adult fairytale with all the magical trimmings. This book will have you laughing, sighing, and wishing on a star for your own fairy godmother to appear.

Loved this new series, can't wait for the next book. Charming read and interesting characters kept me reading to the wee hours. I'm glad I tried this new author, I was not disappointed.

I want to thank the publisher for being so nice to send me an early copy of this book and for my extremely late review.

Sadly, this book did not work with me. The plot wasn't very clear to me, it felt like everything was all over the place at the same time and that nothing got any direction. Although I thought this would be solved later on the book, it didn't happen.
The characters were not memorable, they felt flat and very vanilla. There were times when I confused their names because the depth of their personality was missing. Again, I thought at the end I'd learn more about who they were but it didn't happen.

There were other insignificant things I didn't like such as the ending and the MC decisions during the whole book. It did not make sense the way they were acting, knowing they were actually adults. Although this is not reflected on my rating.

I saw that this has become a trilogy, I wish the best to the author and hopefully this issues got solved in the following books. I personally hope this review can be constructive enough as a reference for future projects.

Thanks again for the opportunity!

This took me a while to pick up so when I finally did it just didn’t do it for me. Sadly it was a dnf but I hope to try again soon

Really cute concept > a modern day fairy tale world where the fairy godmothers run their own matchmaking/wedding business but I found the story moved really slowly and the narrator was a slow talker too. The fake dating/marriage trope was well done although the weird catastrophically unlucky at love roadblock for the two MCs was a little over the top. I'll still check out the next books in this series but my expectations were high and I was left a bit disappointed overall. Much thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for my advance review copy.

Objectively this book is probably more of a 3 star read, but I think I just read it at the right time in my life to enjoy it enough to give 4 stars. There are some occasional vague or unnecessary plot points that don’t get enough attention to be mentioned, but they don’t take away from the story overall. The story in general is more for entertainment purposes than for a deep story about true love. However, this book is great for a light hearted and quick read.
