Fairy Godmothers, Inc. is a lovely romance story, but it's more than that. Through the story, we see the two main characters grow and learn about themselves and their fears.
Lucky is a young artist, but, wherever she goes, something bad seems to happen. Ramson is a successful young businessman. Together, they will learn to love each other and to respect each other.
The three godmothers are adorable, sassy and meddling. Who wouldn't want a godmother like them?
I'll be looking forwards to reading more books in this series.

Fairy Godmothers, Inc was very, very cute. If you are looking for a cutesy, light, fairytale read- I definitely recommend! I enjoyed the setting, the fairytale aspects, seeing all of the beloved fairytale characters, and the premise. I did however feel like this book became a bit convoluted and wish the book had been a bit more streamlined. If the story and characters had been more focused, this could have been a favorite read of the holiday season.

I will definitely continue with the series- I hope we get a little bit more magic and less tangents in the next book but overall, it is so fun, so sweet, and very funny- surprisingly funny!

A light hearted romance and an easy read. I expected elements of fantasy fairy tale and romantic comedy to come together seamlessly but the book fell a little short for me. Predictable plot elements with flat world building around the fairytale aspect of the story. Not a terrible read but it didn't knock my socks off. Plot: As much as I enjoyed the book, there were too many plots going on: the fairy tale city and fairy godmothers, the unlucky woman and the past lovers trope. I would have preferred the fairytale part to be more explored, it felt very superficial and, therefore, out of place. I couldn't get used to the fact that I was reading an adult romance set in a fairytale city with fairy godmothers.I didn't feel like I coudn't stop reading this book.
Writing: The writing was really good - the author knew how to finish chapters and create a great flow. Definitely the plot could have been better with this kind of writing.
Characters: At first I was extremely confused with the characters. All of them were introduced in the first 6-8% of the book, very briefly and we had to figure out who was who. The godmothers should have had way more space in the story, they felt very much like supporting characters. The main couple was well developed and had great chemistry.
Verdict: I took longer than expected to finish the book because I was not invested in it. It's a decent read, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it.

This book was lighthearted fun in a fairy tale setting. Three sweet fairy godmothers, who live in Ever After, Missouri, want to increase their magic (which is only done with love) by bringing people to Ever After for their weddings. To promote the town as a wedding venue, they talk two of their godchildren, Lucky and Ransom, into staging a fake wedding for publicity. The two were a couple in college, but things went bad between them and they haven't been together since.

Lucky and Ransom were good characters for this rom-com of a story. Together they were a great couple, but there were some major issues happening that couldn't be explained. Magic was everywhere, and there was a lot of humor. All in all a fun book.

This had so much promise; I love the town with tons of our favorite fairy tale characters (godmothers, Briar Rose, Red Riding Hood & Grannie, and more). The love interests in this story are both godchildren of three fairy godmothers who need to bring love to their town to save it. This is a cute romcom with deeper moments as both the hero and heroine have to grapple with their inner values at times. I felt that there were a few too many side characters and tangents to keep the story flowing correctly.

I will continue on with the series though as I feel that it is cute and different.

I got this arc in exchange for my honest review. This book wasn’t my cup of tea. I really wanted to like it and over all it was cute, but it wasn’t for me. I didn’t like how wishy washy the hero, Ransom was. Lucky, the leading lady was mostly good, and she did thankfully come into her own. I didn’t like the reason why they originally broke up, I think it was supposed to be funny? I did love the two best friends. And the middle of the book got really good. The rest for me was just ok though.

To be honest I didn't actually finish this title because it was over the top corny. Also, the premise for the breakup was beyond ridiculous. Had potential, but not for me.

Fairy Godmothers, Inc. will most likely get categorized as "rom-com", and it is, but it feels like more than that. It is also a fantasy that takes comedy to full-blown cheese limits and far away from reality - but hey, I was reading this during the 2020 election so escapism from politics can be a very good thing! In addition to romance, comedy and fantasy there are strong messages about family, personal growth and learning to have a positive perspective on things. Lucky, one of the protagonists of this novel, does not have a positive perspective on herself at the beginning of this story. In fact, she considers herself incredibly unlucky and feels like that contributed to ruining her relationship with now-billionaire Ransom when they were in college. And to make life better for her, her godmothers have asked her to fake marry Ransom to build up the romance in their town of Ever After and make it a wedding destination. Except they're also banking on it building up the depleted magic in town because they aren't just godmothers, they're fairy godmothers, and everyone else in Ever After is magical too. Naturally things go awry quite quickly, people bond and bicker and learn things about themselves they never knew. Bad things keep happening to Lucky and Ransom and it leads them to wonder if what they're beginning to realize is a very real romance can stand the test of their bad luck - if in fact their luck is actually bad to begin with. This book was fun and enjoyable. It does feel like it gets a little bit too corny and cliche at times, and the number of characters can get a little challenging to keep up with - but don't let those things stop you from diving in if you prefer to take your happy pills in book form.

The cover of this novel is what enticed me to read it as it’s beyond cute and heart-warming. There are many adorable moments that just make you joyous, but there are some that just make you sigh. Although the novel was not flawless, the concept was fantastic and would be beyond perfection with some tweaks along the way. As there will be a semi-sequel featuring our title organization, Fairy Godmothers, Inc., it will be interesting to see where the author takes this series. It’s essentially a Hallmark movie mixed with Disney with some adult moments. There’s also a similarity to Once Upon a Time as it is fairy tale characters living in an unknown town surrounded by regular humans.

Our three fairy godmothers are Petunia (“Petty”), Jonquil, and Bluebonnet. They run Fairy Godmothers, Inc. in their magical hometown of Ever After, Missouri. Their town’s magic is slowly running out as love is disappearing. They construct a plan to bring love back to Ever After by making the town a wedding destination. They now just have to get their first wedding complete and they have the perfect couple in mind.

Lucky Fujiki, one of their godchildren, is cursed with bad luck. She attracts it and inflicts it on those around her, sometimes on purpose, but typically by accident. She’s the most unlucky person that she knows. Her college sweetheart, Ransom Payne, is the other half of the godmothers’ couple, who also happens to be another one of their godchildren. He is the chocolate “prince” of his own company, Heart’s Desire Chocolate. Their history of the first time around in their romance involves some unfortunate incidents that lead to a lasting nickname for Ransom. Despite their past, they both have residual feelings for each other and an inescapable attraction that could most likely lead to disaster.

They come together in Ever After for their fake publicity wedding, but the godmothers believe it will become real as the two will fall in love. The entire tale is a heart-warming experience of the second-chance romance for two that never stopped loving each other and have to overcome obstacles to be together. Their chemistry hasn’t faded over the years and they both want to be together. However, Lucky’s un-luck might be enough to keep them apart as they continue to experience unbelievable barriers.

Each chapter switches between Lucky, Random, and the godmothers’ points of view. I loved this as you got to get in each character’s head to not only experience what events were happening when the characters were separate, but to aid in understanding their thought processes. Although this is a story mainly about the godmothers with our main couple as a secondary main storyline, there were times where I wished it focused a little more on the couple to learn even more about them. I wish there was more about their past romance so we delve into why these two are meant to be together. There are hints here and there, but I would’ve loved more.

The meddling godmothers were relatable, but again, I wish there was a little bit more of Ransom and Lucky building their relationship as their love is what makes the world-go-round in this novel. I did love the banter between the three godmothers as they reminded me of re-worked versions of Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather from Sleeping Beauty. They are one unit, but each has their own personality. I can see how this will make an entertaining series surrounding these three ladies and all of their meddling.

Overall, this novel was entertaining and there are a lot of characters to give possible storylines to future novels. Ever After sounds like a great place to visit and I hope that it’s further described to give the reader a full immersion experience to fully understand the magic of the town. Lucky and Ransom were a fun couple that both wanted to be together and not wanted to be together at the same time. Their love for each other is what leads them to their foretold Happily Ever After. I’m intrigued to give the next novel in the series a try as the potential was extremely present in this series. I encourage any reader who’s in the mood for an easy feel-good romance, to give this novel a try.

This book would make a great Hallmark movie! It is fun and a bit silly. I enjoyed all the characters. I definitely need my own fairy Godmother. Mine also must have been off work and failed to leave back up to cover her shifts.

This book had me cackling. I wish Ever After were a real place because I would love to visit. Fairy tale characters living in small town Missouri and hiding who they are from normies while simultaneously trying to become a wedding destination is a premise that begs for hilarious conflict. I loved this book and the series is going on my Must Read list.

It's a quick cheesy romance read. There's a HEA.

This book was so funny! I was cracking up at everything that was happening with Lucky and Ransom. Just when you thought their events couldn’t get more crazy the book topped it. I will say I wasn’t expecting it to be as sexual as it was it caught me off guard at first. Overall I can’t wait for the next one.

I love fairy tale retellings and retellings of all kind, and I was so excited to get this book on my kindle. In this version, three fairy godmothers create a wedding destination out of their town to boost their power and immediately set up a fake wedding from former sweethearts Lucky and Ransom.

This is such a sweet story with a cute set-up. I wished the two main characters had a little more chemistry, and this book definitely relied on miscommunication and petty conflict to create tension in the relationship. Most of the issues could have been solved by communicating with each other while avoiding a lot of drama. The godmother's were funny characters to read about, but their constant meddling felt like it took away from the main romantic arc.

Overall, this was a cute fluffy romance with a nice touch of magic. I like Lucky's character a lot and it was great to see her develop over the course of the book and take charge of her own happy ending. The author's voice was fun and lighthearted and I think this book will land will with its target audience.

This began with whimsy and I was totally on board for this adventure. Then I flipped to the first chapter and... it lost me. This promises fun and entertainment. There is just so much talking and near to nonexistent world building and in a fairytale setting I want all the details. I want to know the magical history and I crave a world to get lost in. I really wanted to love this, but it didn't happen. I think if more was added this could've been one magical tale.

The title of this book caught my attention. The story was a little different but very very enjoyable and light. The characters were a strange mix of fairytale and reality and it really hooked me in.
