This was such an adorably adorable book! I had hoped it would be my type of book from reading the blurb, but you never really know. But thankfully this book live up to the hype, and I devoured it from start to finish!

Thank You, Next was a fun read and I flew through it. The concept of the story was quite entertaining. It didn’t completely wow me but I still enjoyed it.

I wasn't the hugest fan of this narration style. I can't pinpoint exactly what it was, but I'm learning that I'm extremely picky when reading lately! There's nothing wrong with this book, just not my thing right now.

Not at all what I had expected ,the more I read the more frustrated I got with both the story & it's characters ,I know there all forms of re-writing Fairy Stories & bring them up to date but sadly this left me totally bemused & disappointed . Many of you may enjoy it ,it just wasn't `My Cup of Tea' as they say !

I’m not going to lie – I remember skimming Fairy Godmothers, Inc.‘s blurb, and expecting the said Fairy Godmothers to be part of a matchmaking company or something. I didn’t expect them to be actual Fairy Godmothers! I mean, I’m not complaining, of course. I think the story is more entertaining this way!

Fairy Godmothers. Inc. opens with the three godmothers, Petunia, Jonquil, and Bluebonnet, talking about how they barely have any magic left. Since love is what powers their magic, they decide to make their town of Ever After, Missouri, a premier wedding destination. Together with all the magical beings of Ever After, the godmothers get to work convincing their godchildren, Lucky and Ransom, to get fake-married in their town. Since Ransom is now a billionaire and a CEO, the wedding will garner all sorts of publicity. Because of their love for their godmothers, Lucky and Ransom agree to get fake-married, and the story kicks off with Lucky and Ransom arriving in Ever After.

Lucky, ironically, is anything but lucky. She has notoriously bad luck, and only a select few aren’t affected by her bad luck. We also learn that Lucky and Ransom were together back in college, but her bad luck always prevents them from having sex. Eventually, after a specific incident that makes Ransom a laughingstock, they break things off. In the present, Lucky and Ransom are quick to realize that they still love each other, and Ransom sets out to convince Lucky that they can make a relationship work, even with Lucky’s bad luck. I enjoyed how open Lucky and Ransom were about their current relationships – all the woes, fears, white lies, and shortcomings. Lucky is a also a great character – I admired her positivity a lot.

One of the backbones of Fairy Godmothers, Inc. is love, but Lucky and Ransom’s supposed past love was difficult for me to connect with. We’re told time and time again that Lucky and Ransom were each other’s great love even back then, but it was never shown. It was always just told. I didn’t find it easy to root for them because their relationship history was barely delved into. As the story progressed, there was a lot of development relationship-wise, but I personally would have appreciated more flashbacks to give Lucky and Ransom’s love more of a foundation. On the flipside, it was easy to see how much Lucky and Ransom loved their godmothers, and why they would agree immediately to get married for them. The godmothers’ love for Lucky and Ransom was easily seen and felt too.

The stars of this book are definitely the townspeople of Ever After. The godmothers were so funny and entertaining, and I enjoyed figuring out which other fairytale characters were residing in this town. The hints at these characters’ pasts (aka the stories we grew up with) was cleverly done, and I hope we see more of them in the next book. Gwen, Lucky’s best friend, and Roderick, Ransom’s best friend, were also compelling supporting characters, and I loved how loyal they were.

Fairy Godmothers Inc. is an enjoyable read, and it’s the perfect mix of humor and seriousness. Other than love, another big part of the book is Lucky’s journey of self-acceptance, and I feel it was explored very well. All in all, Fairy Godmothers’ Inc. is a relaxing read, and I’m looking forward to the next book about Gwen and Roderick!

I loved the concept of this book and although it took me a while to grasp all of the characters were so closely linked to fairy tales it was a really joyful hygge book.
Lucky is only lucky by name she is calamitous. Like a whirlwind!
Ransom is handsome and rich and they are both linked by their godmothers.... fairy godmothers.
Will they live happily ever after. This book leads them to their godmothers in ever after a quaint story book town.

I really recommend this book to all who love a cute story.

First of all, thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for the digital arc.
I requested this novel because I’ve always remembered the Fairy Godmothers’ and they were my favorite characters from childhood. This story was a creative take on the fairy tales the most of us grow up with. It makes me want to go back and read all those Goldenbook copies I cherished. As someone who is new to the romance genre I didn’t expect to like this book as much as I do. It was the perfect balance of a few genres without being overwhelming on the love aspect. The best part is the characters, even the ones who aren’t from Ever After. I also appreciate the twist on the hero’s journey. I read this in one setting, staying up late/early to finish it. I’m already anxiously awaiting the sequel.

Real fairy godmothers, a fake wedding, second chance romance with a splash of magic and a bit of fairy dust sprinkled on top.

“I don’t believe in fate. I believe in here. I believe in now. I believe in us.”
Fairy Godmothers, Inc. by Saranna DeWylde is the story of 3 meddling fairy godmothers trying to save their magical town by setting up previous lovers Lucky and Ransom. For me it was Petunia, Jonquil, and Bluebonnet that stole the show. They were sassy in an adorable grandmotherly way and fully won my heart; they were hilarious. I was slow to warm up to the romance, but it was sweet and paced pretty well. The blend of the different fairy tales and characters were just enough to not take away from anything else. The only thing that I had a difficult time with was the so called incident, for me it didn’t seem to be very realistic with how much of an issue it became.

“Much like life. It’s meant for living.”

Overall this was a fun read and I look forward to the next book.

Sometimes you just need a feel-good happy (if not a little steamy and maybe a bit of a relationship two-step) little romance to make your day a bit brighter. Fairy Godmothers, Inc. totally delivered.

In the faraway land of Ever After, Missouri, 3 meddling little fairy godmothers live to make all your dreams come true. Well, sort of... if their magic is working. Petunia, Jonquil, and Bluebonnet, the aforementioned three godmothers are having a wee bit of a problem getting their magical juices back up and flowing. So they decided they were going to open up their town of Ever After, Missouri, the secret epicenter of enchantment, as a destination wedding resort town. Because, what better way to power up your magical town than with love sweet, sweet love? So the 3 loving (read: meddling) godmothers set to stage a faux wedding of their one and only failure couples and separate godchildren(?).

Lucky has always thought her name was a cosmic joke and a bit of a curse. Everything she does goes wrong. Luckily, (ha!) there are some people in her life that are immune to the mayhem that always surrounds her. When her adorable and loving godmothers ask for a favor, Lucky can't refuse, even if that means facing and faking a marrying her first love and ex-boyfriend, Ransom. The lingering embarrassment of their relationship, the Embarrassing Incident that neither of them will ever live down, and subsequent breakup has haunted her for years.

Ransom Payne has come a long way since his college days and being widely and infamously known as "The Boy Who Couldn't". He's now a successful chocolatier billionaire and all his success can be attributed to his fairy godmothers. So when they come calling and asking for his help in creating a wedding destination resort, he can't refuse even if that means facing the girl that got away and his completely embarrassing past. But as Lucky and Ransom meet again they discover that sometimes things just can't be left in the past and that getting older doesn't make the obstacles you walked away from in your youth any easier.

Fairy Godmothers, Inc. was super cute. I loved the Once Upon a Time angle of skewing our fav fairy tale characters. Red and Granny, The evil queen, etc. so much fun. Ransom and Lucky were cute can their attraction was undeniable but sometimes they got a bit annoying with the two-step (but usually that's a "me" thing and not necessarily a "book" thing). The secondary characters were fun and I absolutely can't wait for more in this series!

Fairy Godmothers, Inc. by Saranna DeWylde is a story of magical realism in which fairy godmothers are real, fairy tales can come true and magic is a lot closer than you think. Lucky Fujiki and Ransom Payne share a trio of godmothers with whom they spent every summer. Lucky and Ransom also have a shared history that neither likes to talk about, mostly because, despite her name, Lucky has always considered herself a beacon for bad luck. When her so-called bad luck continually prevented a romantic relationship with Ransom, she said something unforgivable and the two have spoken since.

Petunia, Bluebonnet and Jonquil Blossom are fairy godmothers and despite living in Ever After, their magic is fading. To spark their magic and help their godchildren, they decide to host a wedding in Ever After. Love, after all, can cure almost anything, even a magical dry spell. But things get more complicated when Lucky, Ransom and the godmothers try to share their town with the world.

I found this to be a fun story where magic is real, love can conquer all and that sometimes second chances are even better than the first. I look forward to more in the series.

When your godmothers ask you for help, of course you say yes. Even if to help them, you have to fake marry your college love, the one that got away, the one that you couldn’t make it work with. That’s what happens to Lucky and Ransom. In order to help their godmothers and their struggling little town, the6 agree to fake marry to bring a booming wedding business to the small town. However feelings linger, but when Lucky bring unlucky wherever she goes, will they ever be able to make it work?

A cute story with all of its predictable love lines. A story of magic and love, friendships and relationships. There’s so much room for more stories to follow more characters and he godmothers more. There was just something about this book that didn’t mesh well with me, I can’t put my finger on it. Overall a nice read.

A fairy tale set in Ever After, Missouri, where three fairy godmother’s magic is in need a happily ever after to boost the towns enchantment.

Former college sweethearts, Lucky and Ransom, are brought back together under the premise of a “fake” marriage to encourage others to hold their weddings in town so love will reign supreme fueling the shrinking charm of the town. A scandal has plagued these former lovers but not diminished their feelings for each other.

Can seeing each other again after so much time apart ignite forgiveness to face their fears and take risks even after how they left each other all those years ago? Can meddling fairy godmothers let them explore the road to the castle alone to have their happily ever after?

The book is filled with references to the many fairy tales we have all grown-up with from Sleeping Beauty to Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs but these dwarfs are named after beers. Marchen for adults!

A fun light-hearted read just give it time to develop this second-chance romance.

Although this was an easy read with really cute fairy tale elements, it felt like the author tried to start too many other stories instead of focusing on the main couple.
I enjoyed it but I would have preferred more with the main couple, less constant meddling, and fewer storylines.

In a fairy tale world, everything ends up happily ever after. In these crazy times of Covid and civil unrest, I needed a picker upper and this book fit the Bill. Three fairy godmothers need to restore their energy and come up with a plan to hold fairy tale type weddings in their town called, Ever After. Lucky is their goddaughter, and does not fit her name since bad luck seems to follow her. In love with Ransom, Lucky agrees to a fake wedding to help kickstart Fairy Godmothers,Inc. This was a cute, fast read, with plenty of magic. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.

Fairy Godmothers, Inc. was just the pick-me-up that I was needing in these crazy times. The book revolves around three fairy godmothers whose wands stop working because their town has run out of love. Enter: our main character (not-so) Lucky, who actually attracts bad luck. Lucky had a falling out with her former college sweetheart, Ransom, and the godmothers step in with a fake marriage plot full of laughs (and mischief) to answer the ultimate question: can someone love her no matter what?

It took me such a long time to finish this book and that's why I'm rating it lower. I really liked the beginning even though I thought Lucky's "curse" was a bit over the top.

My main criticism is the ending. I know this is a romance and all but the resolution happened too fast and I was offended on Lucky's behalf by Ramson's behaviour. They should have discussed what happened a lot more and not get married within seconds of her accepting his "apology". The ending just really irritated me and that overpowered my initial enjoyment of the story.

Although I am not normally a romance reader, I am a huge fairy tale lover, so the premise here just sounded too cute to pass up! Both Lucky Fujiki and Ransom Payne share three godmothers - Petunia (Petty), Jonquil and Bluebonnet. While Ransom knows the true nature of these special women, Lucky does not. But that sort of fits with Lucky's life - she hardly lives up to her name - just brushing up against her can cause her un-luck to impact others. Very few people in her life are immune to this curse-like effect and when in college and dating Ransom, he proved to definitely not to be one of the immune.

But their godmothers need their help in reviving the magic of their special town of Ever After, Missouri - and their meddling brings Lucky and Ransom back together again. The story weaves in multiple fairy tale characters in and includes some pretty funny moments. It borders a bit on the cartoonish at times (there are giant, concussion-causing cherries!), but it all makes for lighthearted fun. The writing feels a little clunky at times, though and relies heavily on the dialogue to reveal the backstory, move the plot forward and generally develop the characters.

Still, I did enjoy the antics of the characters and the book's originality. And while there are some predictable elements to the plot - it's to be expected with the fairy tale element, I suppose. It made me giggle and the teaser chapter for the sequel makes me want to continue on with the series!

honestly, I had a hard time getting into the book and I did not finish it. I really don't have more to say then that but its telling me that my review needs to be longer.
