Thank you so much to Netgalley and the publisher for the arc.
Oh how I adored ADORED this book. Perfect real life balance mixed with fairy tale. The fairy godmothers were just adorable and the whole book was perfect. It was a great escape from reality reading this one.

“Fairy Godmothers, Inc” is the type of magic we need this holiday season. Once upon a time, the faraway land of Ever After had a lot of magic to be held by fairy godmothers. However, this magic has just about run out and they need something to strengthen it. Just like any normal fairy godmother, they plot to have two of their watches: Lucky and Ransom marry in a sight for the ages. But, will Lucky and Ransom make it to the alter? We all know from hearing and reading fairy tales that not all have a happy ending. Readers will have to check this book out December 29th to read the fated tale.
This novel is filled with laughs, twists and turns that have the reader wishing they were in Ever After land. Saranna DeWylde does not disappoint readers with her take on Ever After and fairy godmothers. Little quirks like Grammy and Reds bakery to birds making clothing will seal the deal for readers. Plus, who wouldn’t want to see if a character’s curse is reversed?
I recommend “Fairy Godmothers, Inc” to anyone who needs a magical escape, loves the romantic comedy, or wants to believe in fairy tales.

Who doesn't love meddling godmothers, of the fairy variety??? Ever After is a town loosing its magic and to get it back the three godmothers set up long time ex's Lucky (that's the female lead's name) and Ransom (yep the male lead's name), (side note I think that those names were so random but I'm not really judging, ok maybe a little judgy). The book is an easy read with a predictable outcome if you read enough romance books they kinda all seem the same at some point but you still read them anyway, just like watching ALLLLLL the Hallmark Christmas movies, you know whats going to happen and you watch it anyway. If you want a sweet little rom com pick me up, pick this up.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC of this book in return for an honest review. All spelling and grammar errors are totally my own.

I wasn't sure what to expect from Fairy Godmothers, Inc. While it took me a bit to get into it, I did end up loving the characters. Interested to see where the sequel takes things next.

Really enjoyed this book! The ending was super predictable but I still liked it anyways. I’m so excited this is a series because I love all the meddling the godmothers do and can’t wait to see what they are up to next!

This rom-com is light and sweet and romantic and just the right amount of magical.
DeWylde did a great job of incorporating all the fairytale elements in such a way that they're original yet recognizable, plus everything plays into the pacing and expanding of the plot in such a way that it feels perfectly natural for things to be happening.
Both Lucky and Ransom are characters whose stories you can get behind, and they're surrounded by interesting side characters with tales of their own. This is a very well rounded book.
Definitely a light, fun read that I'll happily recommend to anyone looking for a bit of magic with their romance.
Many happy thanks to NetGalley and Zebra Books for the fairytale read.

3.75 stars
This was a fun quick very whimsical (and albeit a bit cliché-ish) story that I devoured in one sitting.
This reminded me of OUAT show and a new fairy godmother film I saw this year. It had hilarious laugh-out-loud parts but also very frustrating parts (mostly because of our main girl) but overall a cute story for lovers of contemporary romance.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for the chance to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

Fairy Godmothers, Inc. was such a sweet, cute and fast paced read.
I loveeee romance novels and fairy tales, and this one was just the good mix these two.
This was nice spin off on fairy tales, and I just needed to read something sweet like this.
Thanks to Netgalley for this Arc.
This was 4 stars read for me.

The fairy godmothers are just adorable. The setting magical and the romance has so many obstacles that you wonder if they're ever going to get a happy ending. Cant wait to read more of the fairy godmother and how many more couples they try to set up.

Thank you NetGalley, Kensington Books and Saranna DeWylde for gifting me an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review!
This sweet and fun romance gives a whole new meaning to the magic of love! When the magical town of Ever After starts to lose its powers, the town’s Fairy Godmother’s make it their mission to save their home. Enter Lucky and Ransom. The Fairy Godmothers know that the magic of love is exactly what the town needs. They are soon planning a fake wedding and recruiting Lucky and Ransom to return home and help. Will their meddling lead to a Happily Ever After or will their plan crash and burn?
This light and quick read is a great palate cleanser if you’re in the need of a good book that doesn’t dig too deep. There was a sweet Hallmark vibe with a touch of Once Upon A Time (if you haven’t watched that, do it!!).
The story was entertaining and I finished this in one sitting. I didn’t love the multiple switching POV, I prefer POV to stick to the main characters. I sometimes find side characters picking up the POV a little distracting, but that’s totally a personal issue! Saranna DeWylde set the town up nicely for more books in the future, so hopefully we’ll be seeing more of these guys in the future!

Fairy Godmothers, Inc. was a super cute and fast paced read. I loved this spin on fairytales but man it could be confusing at times. It felt like too many characters existed in this story and it began to become difficult to keep straight who was who at certain times, but I'll let this one slide since this book had all the other elements I love and expected.
Full of comedy, romance (enemies to lovers), and magic dust.

If you like romance novels or contemporary novels, definitely give this one a try. For me though the downfall is really connecting to the characters and how it was a tad cliche. I was hoping for a fresh take on fairy godmothers and this kind of let me down there, even though the characters did cuss quite a bit. I expected it to be more magical than it was. That being said it's a fast read.

This book has a really interesting premise with three fairy godmothers arranging for a happy ever after for a pair of their godchildren. I kept picturing the three fairy godmothers from Disney’s The Sleeping Beauty. Overall, this book did not work well for me. I did not like the humor (found it to be too crass at times) and the main heroine was pretty frustrating.

This was very cute. If you enjoy a more light hearted/less complicated Once Upon Time story you would definitely love this. It's hilarious, geared towards adults, and comes up with all kinds of different ideas that will most likely be continued in the rest of the series. Overall though, the only thing that was bothersome to me and I hope it can be fixed in the later books was that the world building is not complete to me (I know its romance so it doesn't have to but still.) Plus although it was entertaining, everyone took everything that was presented to them very well (can be unrealistic to other readers but I thought it was cute). Because of these points, I have to give this novel a 4 out of 5 stars

Cute, sexy grown up fairy tale! The king of chocolate and the unluckiest lady come back together (after an embarrassing moment in college) to help their (fairy) godmothers start their wedding planning business. I couldn’t put this book down. I worried it would be too sweet but it wasn’t at all. It was laugh out loud funny and sweet. I can’t wait to read the next book with the godmothers!

This book didn't work for me, even though I have seen great reviews of this book...I just felt it was lacking in the romance department a lot, I couldn't feel and kind of chemistry between Ransom and Lucky. It was as if the both of them were forcing their hearts to love the other person!

This book was such a delight! I laughed, I cried, and I wished it would never end. Alas, all good things must come to an end. Thank goodness this is the first book in a new series!! I'm already craving more!
First off, this book was hilarious. All the crazy things that happened to Lucky and Ransom were gold. And just when I would think, "Surely, things can't get worse," they did. There was also the creative and fun humor of the three fairy godmothers. I so enjoyed getting their POVs every so often. As well, Lucky's best friend had some great comments and thoughts that had me laughing out loud.
But what good is "com" without "rom" in front of it. The romance was so wonderful. At first, I thought Ransom and Lucky were rekindling their feelings for each other too quickly. But as the book progressed, I could see why the author chose to put them back together so swiftly. And, their romantic conflict and troubles were really good and very valid. Sometimes I feel as though the author just sticks some character with an insecurity to ensure they break up with their romantic partner. In this book, however, their conflict had a purpose and truly needed to be gone through so Ransom and Lucky could progress and become the people they needed to be.
Along the same lines, I loved that both Lucky and Ransom had to find themselves, figure out who they were alone, before they could figure out who they were together. They had to fight personal demons and overcome their own battles before they could climb the mountain to be together. It was truly so well plotted and written and had me tearing up at the end.
My only complaint (and it's a small one) is that I wish their had been more descriptions between dialogue. Sometimes, I'd get confused about who was talking, or wouldn't understand what the character was doing, etc. Also, I think it would have helped me to understand some of the character's motives and thoughts a little bit easier and sooner in the book.
Overall, this contemporary, fantasy rom-com is one you do not want to miss! It's incredibly funny, sincere, and a great start to, what is sure to be, a fabulous series. I can't wait to see what the fairy godmothers cook up in the next book!

After getting a quarter of the way through I couldn't keep going. I liked the fake dating trope and love some magical realism but the character names were confusing and the 'incident' referred to several times just felt like a weird thing to base a story on.
If you really like fairytales and don't mind some suspending disbelief you may be better suited for this one!

I read a preview of this book on Bookish First and it sounded wonderful so I wrote a review based on my first impression. Then, I found the book on Netgalley and requested an ARC. Soon, I was gifted an ARC from Bookish First. What I’m saying is, I have two sources to thank. When Bookish First chooses to give you an ARC, they mail a copy of the book (in this case, a softcover). When you get an ARC from Netgalley, it’s an ebook. I’ve gotten used to reading ebooks, but I decided to switch things up and read the physical book this time. I think I’ll stick with ebooks when I have the option.
This book is so much fun! I love the characters and the plot. The fairy godmothers, Petunia, Bluebonnet, and Jonquil might be a little overdone at times, but it’s hard to fault them for that. Lucky and Ransom (love that his last name is Payne) are sweet. I thought it was a bit silly that the thing that haunted Ransom was the nickname of “The Boy Who Missed,” but since it’s a silly book, I suppose it’s as good a motivation for him as any. Clearly, he needs to overcome his desire to avoid looking foolish. Lucky has to overcome her belief that she is unlucky, which is difficult to do when everything seems to indicate that’s exactly what she is.
There’s a lot of talk about fairy tales and princes and princesses, and someone asks why it always has to be a prince saving a princess. After that, “Roderick (Ransom’s best friend) nodded along but then he said something that surprised RAnsom. ‘Sometimes, when princes save the princess, they’re really being saved, too.’” It’s a bit of foreshadowing, naturally, but it’s not just that Ransom has to save himself, but also that Lucky needs to save herself (and maybe him as well). In other words, both H&h need to experience the hero’s journey, and because there is an HEA, both of them do.
The entire book was amusing and it never feels heavy-handed in the “lessons/morals” department, but there was one scene in particular that made me laugh out loud. I hate to use that phrase because it’s so cliche, but it’s true. I really did. Lucky doesn’t know that Ever After is truly magical and her godmothers are fairy godmothers. She wanders through the dress shop looking for Rosebud and happens upon a scene from Cinderella. There, she sees a beautiful dress on a dress form, surrounded by mice with bobbins, a doe watching through the window, a bunny also perched on the windowsill, and a fat cardinal holding a needle in his mouth. They all freeze, until finally the cardinal drops the needle and says “Caw?” And it sounds like a human making fun of a bird. His next comment is, “Shit, that’s not it.”
The town is made up of fairy tale characters who each make appearances—Red and Grammy, Hansel, Rosebud (the seamstress), Ravena (the “evil” witch), and Prince Charming, currently in the form of a frog. Apparently, he’s a really disgusting-looking frog, and I love the backstory for how/why he ended up that way, but this cracked me up: “The frog made a sound that might’ve been a “ribbitt” on a smaller creature, but this one sounded like the doorbell to the underworld.”
Overall, I love the book and I highly recommend it. I think it’s appropriate for adults and teens—anyone who likes whimsy and fantasy and true love.

What's not to like?
Fairy godmothers. A second chance at love.
Lucky's fairy godmothers want to change her luck for the better, They hatch a plot to make that happen.
Highly recommended for fans of fairytales.
