Here is a story about a Rhino who cant get comfortable no matter where he tries to sleep. He tries to get help from his friends but to no avail.
I have a hard time with these illustrations. They aren't too asthetically pleasing compaired to the other childrens books I've seen. I don't think that has anything to do with the illustrators capabilities. I just think it could have had a little more detail put into it.
The story line is ok as far as plot and idea but not anything I woukd probably keep going back to reach for at bedtime for my son.

Pablo the rhino is having a hard time going to sleep in his forest because all of his friends (night creatures) are keeping him awake! Cute story littles will enjoy! Illustrations od Pablo and his friends are simple and cute, nothing busy in background. Nice bedtime or naptie story for sleepy littles!
This is a creative story about a rhino trying to get to sleep but being frustrated with all the noise and activity around him. But when he eliminates all that he realizes he misses his friends. The illustrations are quirky and sweet and fit the story well.
Absolutely loved Pablo Can't Sleep! Such an adorable children's book. I especially loved the illustrations and the juxtaposition of Pablo's blanket versus the animals. The book sends a powerful message that we should remember the reasons we love our friends and adapt to them. The other animals seem good natured and not intentionally annoying Pablo and when Pablo returns to the forest, we see him having this realization too. It seems to be a lesson is empathy and recognizing the good in others.
Pablo Can't Sleep

Pablo can't sleep, each place he goes another friend disturbs his sleep, not on purpose but being themselves, he learns the value of his friendship along the way. A cute story with plenty of discussions with kindergartners about when their friends do something they don't like and how to accept others as they are.
A reasonable lullaby of a book, with the rhino of the title not being able to get to sleep because of all his creature friends – until he realises he can't sleep without his creature friends. Felt and fabric cutouts make the illustrations, unless it's a fine digital effort to look like hand-placed fabrics, and I suppose the character is likeable, but it's not the strongest of adventures, and I don't think it's suitably lulling. I may be proven wrong in that, not having a toddler to experiment with to hand, but I didn't find this to be a must-buy. Three and a half stars, all the same.
Pablo the rhino can't sleep. He goes everywhere seeking peace and quite from his noisy friends. But, will he be able to sleep once he is away from everyone, and will he discover how important his friends presence is afterall? Cute book for toddlers ages 2-4. Cute illustrations.
