Lillian & Trey seem to be like two ships crisscrossing each other in the ocean and never connecting for one reason or another! They truly have places in each other’s hearts, but something or someone seems to keep them apart.

For a lighthearted romance this is actually a very enjoyable and captivating storyline. It has intrigue with twists and turns that you don’t see coming and they are not as predictable as you think. I love the characters and they are fresh and spark with life.

I would read more books from this author and recommend this book!

This is the second book in the Drake isle series and it is as awesome as the first one. The characters were sweet and that kept me hooked up till the end. It is well written, from its overall writing style to editorial quality to it's formatting and structure. Also, the story is very thorough, easy to read having simple language with an ease of understanding and the pages just fly. These are the things I like the most about the book. The book cover is catchy and so is the story.
I would recommend this book to people who love romance. Just go for it.

Finding You is a great read. The scenery on an island symbolizes the separation from bitter events and memories to choices to create a better life, a safe haven filled with friends who become family. The heroine arrives alone as a poor, pregnant teen with twins. Almost two decades later, the twins are young adults, and it’s time for the single mother to chose to enjoy the independent natures she instilled in her twins. She takes steps to create her own new beginnings. When obstacles come along, as they do in real life, she faces them and regroups. She firms her roots in the island and finds “cougar” love in the process. The added decades old mystery that shut down the old college that is finally reopening is a great subplot! To be continued and hopefully solved in the next book. . .

A very well written story about two people who have been hurt in the past and coming to grips with the hurt they’ve experienced. I loved Lilian and Trey, and really believed in their relationship despite the 8 year age gap, the author put a lot of barriers in their way but they overcame everyone and learnt to believe in each other. The story of Piper who died, has gotten more interesting and I believe the teacher who has moved the island might know more than he’s saying. Can’t wait for the next one

***Finding You (Drake Island Book 2) is about soulmates that finally meet when she is over forty and he is a thirty-three year old millionaire. The author does a good job expressing their internal thoughts, thankfully in a way that doesn’t drown the reader in angst. There’s an undercurrent of mystery surrounding the unexplained death of a co-Ed because the local college has reopened the case. The story moves along at a nice pace but this reader didn’t find it an unputdownable book. I would give it 3 1/2 stars if I could. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book from NetGalley.
