Angus & Nari.... FINALLY!! WOW, I know I've used that word before, however, I just can't help it!! The tension between them that has built throughout the entire series was worth the wait. This book is the last book in the Deep Ops series (which makes me so so sad... maybe we'll get lucky and some day Rebecca Zanetti will revisit this amazing world). The book was very well written and I was drawn into the story quickly... is Lassiter alive or dead? Who is killing these women? Will our Deep Ops team survive? I had many more questions and they were all answered in this book. I absolutely LOVED the way all of the characters from the previous books came together during this book. The way that Angus & Nari finally became a couple was so well written that I fell in love with them both!! Nari is a woman you just don't want to mess with, she's so strong and amazing. Angus... just sigh... typical alpha male with a soft sweet heart for not only Nari but his whole team. Then of course we can't forget Roscoe!! I love that dog so much... is it possible to write a story for the dog to get a mate?? Just kidding! There were quite a few 'surprises' in the book and the twist that happens is genius, I never in a million years would have suspected the final outcome. Overall, this book is a great 'ending' to the Deep Ops series, however, it definitely leaves room for more books.... pretty please?! Another huge success by Rebecca Zanetti. I think that everyone should read her work because it ALL truly is amazing and worth the time!! I purchased the Kindle version AND listened to the Audible version. You can't go wrong with whatever method you choose to read this book! Thank you Rebecca Zanetti for sharing your talent with us!

Exciting and suspenseful! A fun action packed romance! Fun danger with a serial killer on the loose. Angus and Nari have some great chemistry too! It’s nice to have Angus and Nari working towards being happy with each other; they are a good fit. Nari is a strong lady with some good sass. She’s been the therapist for this deep ops group of misfits for awhile now. Angus is the leader of that group, and has been through some really tough things; he doesn’t exactly handle things in positive ways, but he’s a survivor. Angus knows something fishy is going on when the murders start happening, so it’s up to him to be the one going on those dangerous missions and solving the case; especially since there seems to be a connection to his team, he won’t quit until he finds the serial killer. Fully entertaining!! Really enjoying this series! Love to see some of the past characters too! I’d recommend reading the previous books for a better overall story, but it’s not fully necessary. Still a fun, interesting read on it’s own. This

What a ride!! Angus and Nari were absolutely fantastic. How many lives do these two have? This action packed thriller was full of sexual tension, drama, mystery, intrigue and pulse stopping drama. The twist and turns will keep you guessing all the way through to the end. The story line was great as well as the characters. I loved every minute of it!!

I have been looking forward to Angus's book. And believe me, it did not disappoint. There's lots of twists and turns and unexpected revelations. I was on the edge of my seat reading this one. And the ending!!! I loved Roscoe, Nari, and all the team members from the other books. They all played an important pay in each book. Definitely a page turner. Highly recommend.

I had to read this one considering I read the others in this so I was already a hostage. Serial killer thrillers have also been my candy of choice lately so I did eat this up. Angus will have his hands full when bodies start looking like he did not get the one he thought he did. Nari the shrink for deep ops but becomes his partner we see a growing relationship from them. The stubbornness though we see will have it a slow burn. The drama and thrills will keep us on our toes as we follow along. The mix is superb that has the formula for readers to stay engaged.

Wow what a suspenseful ride! This book had it all, serial killer on the loose, teamwork, multiple bad guys, betrayal and steamy chemistry. No one can write suspense like Rebecca Zanetti and add humor to it as well! I haven't gotten to read all the books in this series yet but I had no trouble jumping right into the fabulous team and the push & pull between Angus Force and Nari Zhang.

Angus Force is a driven man. He's tormented by demons from his past and is an excellent profiler. He's obsessed with Henry Wayne Lassiter whom he killed two years ago. Now with a new serial killer on the loose it looks like he might be back from the dead. A secret wing of Homeland Security, the HDD - Homeland Defense Department, has given him, and his select team, a year to figure out if Lassiter is back. Nari Zhang is the group's shrink who helps them keep sane. HDD thinks Angus is cracked and fires him and re-assigns his team. Unfortunately dead bodies keep popping up fitting Lassiter's MO keeping Angus in the game whether he's on the payroll or under suspicion of being the killer. This is a roller-coaster of dead bodies, clues and steamy chemistry with a touch of humor to release the tension. I just loved it.

Driven is book 4 in the Deeps Ops series and finally it's time for Angus and Nari. To be honest I was a little nervous about this book. While I did love Angus I had a hard time imagining him as a leading man but oh boy was I proven wrong. Angus was delicious, he's definitely damaged from the death of his sister at the hands of a serial killer but he was so much more. Nari was also a pleasant surprise, during the series she seemed uptight but it's far from what she actually was with Angus. Together their chemistry was explosive and they worked great together. Driven had me on the edge of my seat with it's non-stop action and a twist I didn't see coming. I loved this book from beginning to end and I can't wait for more.

4.25stars-DRIVEN is the fourth full length instalment in Rebecca Zanetti’s contemporary, adult DEEP OPS romantic suspense series focusing on the members of the Requisition Force, Deep Ops Team, a division of the Homeland Defense Department ( HDD) of the FBI. This is disgruntled and disgraced FBI and HDD agent Angus Force, and FBI psychologist Nari Zhang’s story. DRIVEN can be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading the series in order for back story and history, as the hunt for a serial killer, once thought dead and buried, has been developing throughout the series.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Nari and Angus) DRIVEN brings into focus Angus Force’s obsession with proving, the serial killer nicknamed “the Surgeon”, is alive and well, taunting our hero at every opportunity. Years earlier, Angus was credited with taking down and killing serial killer Henry Wayne Lassiter but a series of murders, with similarities to the murders of Henry Wayne Lassiter, have piqued the obsession of our story line hero. As the murders take on a familiar pattern, and the victims bear a striking resemblance to the members of the Deep Ops Team, Nari and Angus become targets of a pathological mind, pulling Angus into an investigation where he becomes the number one suspect.

The relationship between Nari and Angus is one of immediate attraction but an attraction predicated upon close proximity, and a thinly veiled line between hate and lust. When the Requisition Force Team is disbanded, our couple remain working together, pushing them closer to love and their own happily ever after. The $ex scenes are passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

Once, again, there is a large ensemble cast of colorful and energetic secondary and supporting characters including former police detective and undercover operative Malcolm West, and Pippa Smith, (Hidden #1), Special agent Raider Tanaka, and computer hacker Brigid Banaghan (Fallen 2) , US Navy SEAL Clarence Wolfe, and reporter Dana Mulberry (Broken 3); Angus’s quirky alcohol guzzling, lipstick eating German shepherd Roscoe, and Wolfe’s pocket sized kitten Kat: FBI administrator Opal Clemonte; Nari’s biological father Quan Zhang; former MI6 Agent Dr. Jethro Hanson; Special Agents Tom Rutherford, and Kurt Fields.

DRIVEN is a story of obsession, betrayal, treason and vengeance; family, friendships and relationships; power, infatuation, and murder. The premise is intriguing and enthralling; the romance is passionate; the characters are dynamic, compelling and tireless. DRIVEN is a wonderfully exciting addition to the Deep Ops series.

Advanced Reader Copy (ARC) provided by the Author and Publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an fair and honest review.

There are a lot of things I like about this book and some things I don't. Overall, the good outweighs the bad and this is a really good suspense that keeps you clueless and guessing to the very end. Nari has some TSTL moments, but she is a smart character and Angus is just obsessed and that clouded his perspective at times.

Nari and Angus have had a simmering something going on since the start of the series. Nari has been assigned to the rag tag group by the powers that be in order to keep tabs on them, or so Angus believes, and to keep Angus in line. In spite of not being able to trust her, Angus is drawn to her. Nari knows that Angus is driven and obsessed, yet that pure animal magnetism and hot, rough sex are irresistible.

His deal with HDD (Homeland Defense Department), a secret branch of the Department of Homeland Security, was for a year. His team would work the crap cases and Angus would be free to pursue a serial killer, Lassiter, that everyone else thinks is dead. That year is over and the Deep Ops Team is being shut down, members reassigned or outright fired. Then the bodies start dropping. Young women who look like Angus's team members and the MO is virtually the same as the dead Lassiter. Or, could he be alive as Angus has always believed? What is clear is that this killer has a vendetta against Angus and the next body just might be Nari if he isn't stopped.

Yay, we finally get Angus and Nari's story. I'm telling you the sexual tension from these two from the very beginning of the Deep Ops Series has me so happy to finally read about them. You have Angus, who was a top profiler with the FBI, who is so obsessed with Lassiter a serial killer who basically destroyed his life and Nari a strong, smart physiatrist. What is her story and why is she working with this outcast of operatives. Reading her back story help me understand her so much better.
This story was gritty and so filled with suspense I couldn't put it down. I'm pretty good at figuring out the killer most of the time and I did not see this one coming.
This could be read as standalone, but we have been seeing Agnus story from the very first book of the series. I fill it really added to the story.

The Deep Ops romantic suspense series by Rebecca Zanetti is one of my favorites. I love this misfit group of FBI agents. Driven delivered from the story arc to its sizzling romance.

Angus Force is the leader of the Deep Ops team. Once a top profiler within the FBI, his obsession with a serial killer known as the “surgeon” has him working in a dilapidated basement with a group of agents who each have a case that pushed them to the edge.

I love this team, their pets and their partners. From the sprinkle laden coffees to the drunk dog. From the beginning there has been a tension between Angus and Nari Zhang. A dance of sorts and their story was all friction and heat. A push and pull that swept me along.

It was neat getting inside Angus’s head and being privy to his thoughts on Nari. Nari is the team’s shrink and we get her full story as the heat builds between them. Nari gets Angus and doesn’t try to fix him. Can Angus trust enough to let her in?

We learn about how the team was formed, even as it appears the surgeon is alive and targeting them. The suspense thread was action-packed with twists and terror as Angus finds his team and Nari threatened.

I am hoping we see a lot more from this team. While each book has its own romance and case, the overall series arc, friendships and buildup have me recommending you read the books in the order of their release.

This whole series has been amazing and while each book has been fulfilling in itself, they’ve also built up my desire for Angus’ story. And with Driven, I finally have it.

The fact that I’ve had numerous opportunities to see Angus and Nari interact in the previous books, added more depth to their story. But now I got to really see them in action and they did not disappoint. While Angus is definitely a protective hero, he was never over the top with it. I liked that he was able to allow Nari to do her thing, even if he would have preferred to keep her hidden away. Nari actually took me by surprise. She was nothing as I expected making her the perfect match for Angus.

This is filled with so much action, drama, suspense and danger. All of it was sprinkled with a bit of humor and a healthy dose of sizzling chemistry. I was a bit disappointed that Roscoe’s character was not given the chance to shine as much as he has in some of the previous books. He’s still my favorite from the whole series.

While this is part of a series and would be better read in order, it doesn’t have to be. I highly recommend this book and any of the previous books!

I have been waiting for Angus Force’s story since this series began. A group of misfits who work at a secret department in the government, their main goal to find a serial killer, who killed Angus’s sister, among others. Nari is the team’s psychiatrist. Both people have feelings for each other, but Angus thinks he is too damaged for a relationship. This book has many elements of a very good romantic suspense, and I must admit, I am always impressed by Ms.Zanetti’s ability to make her stories work. They

This is so good! I waited anxiously for this book and was so excited to read it. I knew it would be great and it was! This team is so special, every single member, including Roscoe. I hope to read about them for a long time yet.

I received an advanced reader copy of this book to leave an honest review. This is the fourth book in the Deep Ops series and does not disappoint. I have read many of Zanetti's works and they are well written and have excellent plots in all of them. This series has the murder and mystery combined with some romance. Overall I recommend this book and the entire series.

This book follows Angus Force, the leader of the Deep Ops group who is obsessed with a serial killer he shot years ago but still things is alive, and Nari Zhang, the groups shrink. These two have been in all four books and you could feel the tension between them so it was just a matter of time before things came to a head. At the beginning of the book, the Deep Ops group is disbanded by the higher ups since it had been a year since Angus made a deal to put the group together to solve cases while tracking his dead serial killer. This happens the day after a murder similar to the dead serial killer happens and from then on it is a race against the secret HDD organization, Metro police and themselves to find the killer whether it is the not so dead serial killer or a copycat killer. Meanwhile someone keeps trying to kill Angus (unsuccessfully) and trying to kidnap Nari (unsuccessfully).

I won't share much more detail since I don't really want to spoil things but overall the book has a ton of action and there is never a dull moment. If you like the action and suspense along with some alpha male romance, this is a great book.

4 - "You’re sexy when you go all psychobabble on me…" Stars!

We return to the Deep Ops series for book four; Driven finally giving us Angus and Nari’s story, although I have to admit I was just as interested in seeing more of his awesome dog Roscoe as I was seeing the two of them getting together.

"We’re not good for each other…"

We knew quite a bit about Angus before this one with him being the teams leader, and his obsession with supposedly dead serial killer 'The Surgeon' although as this one progresses it’s looking more and more likely that he isn’t.

"It’s not paranoia if they’re really out to get you…"

As always it wasn’t a struggle to read, with plenty of interaction from the rest of the crew, Roscoe’s antics bought on a few giggles, and as you would expect the story was filled with action, thrills and spills. The sexy-times between Angus and Nari were the authors usual mix of Alpha and sweet and overall I really enjoyed the book, it did go a little 'Scooby Doo' towards to end but other than that a really decent addition to the series.

Okay, first things first: Rebecca Zanetti is amazing at writing romantic suspense that is packed full of action and sexual tension. You get all of that (and more) in this fourth installment of the Deep Ops series!

I don't want to give too much away since this story and its delightful characters have been building on the sidelines since the first book in the series! The hero, Angus Force, is strong but tortured - and for good reason. His backstory really draws you in and makes you feel for him. He's had a bit of a tragic past and its definitely impacted his present day a lot.

The heroine, Nari Zhang, was a bit of a surprise to me in this book. It was really great getting to understand her more through her own backstory, and watch her and Angus' relationship develop further. It was also fun to see these characters interact again with characters from the previous books. It might not seem like a big thing, but as a reader, I ALWAYS enjoy revisiting favourite characters from previous books in the series.

The story itself was exactly as you'd expect from Rebecca Zanetti: entertaining! Zanetti writes stories that perfectly blend romance, mystery, intrigue, and action that keeps readers (like myself) hooked. The only thing I would mention is that, although, the stories in this series are about different couples, I would highly recommend reading them in order. I didn't read them in order and got a little lost every now and then, but that could also be a me thing! Things do get explained though but from my personal experience, I'd suggest reading in order. Other than that, I loved everything else about this book and am always happy to hear about any new books Zanetti is writing!

Driven by Rebecca Zanetti
Book 6 of the Deep Ops series. Contemporary romantic suspense. Classified hidden government agency. Can be read as a stand-alone but better as part of the series.

Angus and Nari’s story.
Angus is convinced his nemesis is still alive and killing again. Everyone but his hand picked team believes that Angus is chasing a ghost.
Nari is a fighter. Sure, she’s been trained by HDD but she is fighting for her life and proves herself over and over. She’s not just the pencil pusher psychologist but stands up to dangerous events.

Twists and turns make this a gripping and enthralling read from start to finish
This book wraps up the series arc and I’m happy to hear that there will be more books.
This book stays on my keeper shelf and expect I will be reading it again.

Roscoe fake snoring. Hilarious.

I received a copy of this from NetGalley. I also purchased a copy to share.

We finally get Nari and Angus. When the series started, I didn’t see these two together. Now, I can’t imagine it any other way. They are not sweet and dreamy with each other, but hard and all in. A serial killer is back in the game and brings Nari and Angus along. Lots of action and some surprises along the way.

Grab something and hold on tight. Driven is a crazy, bumpy ride that will keep you on the edge.

It’s a very fine line between determination and obsession for one of the best profilers the FBI has ever had. Angus Force is intense. He’s got a darkness in his past that he’s carried to his present and uses it as a driving force. Losing his sister to a serial killer has him messed up. As it would anyone. The guilt kills him more and more each day, turning him to the bottle and trying to keep those around him at an arm's length. Yet one gets under his skin in just the right way. When what should be a dead man starts hitting too close to home again, Angus holds no bars and revs up to get him once and for all. Even if that means walking away from everyone.

Nari is a primo shrink who could have just about any job she wanted, yet she is getting down and dirty with the bad boys. She’s observant ,smart and remarkable at what she does. Even being at odds with Augus she is completely committed to being a part of the team. When the going got tough she was one of the first to just in the fire.
Angus makes her head spin, yet she can’t help what she feels. Even putting herself on the line to make everything right in the end.

Angus and Nari are as explosive as the situation is dangerous. Driven is one of those books that has you sitting on the edge of your seat, clenching your jaw, scrambling to turn the page to see what’s going to happen next kind of book. Rebecca Zanetti grabs readers hard with Driven. Filled with action, suspense, delicious sex tension, some emotional fueled romance and even a bit to make us laugh. The characters are strong yet broken(in different ways) determined to do what right and finding a way to heal some too.Driven is a tangled mess with emotions driving in the lead and I loved a minute of it.
