I had a hard time getting into this book. I wasn't able to connect with any of the three characters, and I felt like they were all on a course for a big heartache or letdown. They all seemed to be trying to attain goals that they weren't sure they wanted, or trying to have a perfect life appearance to the outside. Each chapter was about one of them, going in a pattern. I stopped reading at about 30%, and to that point only one of the chapters had any glimpse of their friendship. Through the first third, the book was not as light and fun as I was expecting, and I wasn't interested enough to keep reading.
I enjoyed this book. It follows the lives of three very different women on their paths of friendship. This is a quick light read. I wish the characters had a bit more depth but overall I liked it
I tried reading this and made it about 2 chapters in before giving up. I absolutely hated the writing and felt like I was reading something that hadn't been edited yet.
No Regrets follows three best friends through their very different lives. I enjoyed their friendship but also felt I didn't get a lot of back story from any of the characters. The setting of London and New York is fun and makes for a nice getaway!
There's not much wrong with it. I just couldn't get into it. It seems to be nothing more than a bunch of moms across the world obsessed with the social ladder. I'm sure other people would like it.....just not for me.
So funny! It reminded me of my group of friends while being just dramatic enough to give the space to find the humor in their interactions. It's like a punchier Sex and the City.
The book seems to be mistakenly categorized. It does not have significant LGBTQ+ content. Did not finish.
Thank you for the opportunity to read the book, but it is not of interest to me.
No Regrets started out great- sadly it went downhill about half way through and ended as a complete disappointment. Too many characters, not enough plot development and numerous sub-plots that added nothing to the story make this a pass for me.
The word I think that best describes this book is “fine.” I DNFed at about 20%. I was bored and just could not bring myself to care to care about any of the characters. I found myself skimming and could skip entire paragraphs without really missing anything. It was readable but honestly there are just too many books out there to spend time on the ones that you can’t get into.
This was an average read. Unfortunately nothing really stood out to me and was like so many other books out there. I think this would be good for a book club book so I would recommend reading it.
A true book about the power of friendship and the bonds that tie.
Each of the girls lives were so page turning. Author Tabitha Webb knows how to weave multiple stories and characters into a single thread. This book kept me up page turning. I would highly recommend this read to a friend.
This debut novel by Tabitha Webb is a fantastic fun read. it kept me entertained. FOMO is examined in the lives of good friends nearing their forties. Readers will identify with some aspects of each characters. Nice to read a book where the characters are not 20-somethings.
Well written book! Not at all what I was expecting. But overall it was a god book. I'd recommend to friends.
Modern day sex and the city with a bigger twist. Absolutely loved it, although it did follow the timeline of sex and the city a little closely (huge fan here). It was a captivating read, well written and laugh out loud funny and equal parts heartbreaking. Highly recommend. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I laughed so much reading this. I LOVE the relationships between these women.
I definitely related most to Stella, being a new mom myself I completely identified with some of the turmoil she faced. She had me laughing so hard, because I pictured myself in some of her situations saying and thinking the exact same things.
I also could relate to Dixie from when I was in my early 20s. The nostalgia hit when reading her POV.
I love reading about friendships between women and wish I had some more like that in my life!!
Thank you Harper 360 and Netgalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I loved this story. It kept me up all night cause I couldn’t put it down. I think every woman out there wants a relationship like the one Stella, Dixie and Ana had. These girls love and support each other unconditionally and I absolutely love the banter between the three of them. This story will make you feel all the range of emotions, but I absolutely think it’s worth it.
What a fun read. I loved the friendship and the peak into their lives. I enjoyed the realness of it from the very beginning! Good read! Would recommend thanks for letting me read this.
Super good total chick lit book. You will find yourself wanting to be friends with the women in the book. They are so well done they could be real. Laughter, love and a bit of heartache make this book one you will definitely want to read.
