I was torn between admiring the lead character’s motivations and wanting to throttle him for his naïveté. It’s a great story and I love it when authors acknowledge and address privilege in their characters and how they relate to the world which is presented.

It seemed like an interesting story from the description and the first half was really gripping for me . But afterwards I kinda lost interest because there were a few things that didn’t make sense for me and I just couldn’t keep up with everything.
Very grateful to the publisher for my review copy

Seemed disjointed with characters who didn't seem real. If the author had followed Ricki's journey I would have enjoyed it more
Thank you netgalley and the publisher for this arc

This was a decent read. There was plenty of twists and turns to hold my interest but I didn't get as absorbed into it as I would have liked.

If you like crime fiction Rickie Raven's Dilemma is a book that should definitely be on your to read list. Author J.E. Kellenberger has written a fine example of crime fiction and with all of the twists and turns in the novel it is difficult to know quite what will occur on the next page turn.
The main character, a detective, is a law school grad and from a wealthy family and yet detective work is where his heart and soul is and he is good at it.
The author has a great writing style and the book kept my interest. Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a free copy for my honest review.
