I wasn't expecting this sampler to be the first 4 chapters, each a different POV of a different character. Because of this format I think it made the sampler feel just that much shorter.
I haven't finished the first book in this series yet but now I'm driven even more to since taking a peek at this title!

This sample is packed with quite the cliffhanger in the end. Filled with intrigue and great potential for the rest of the story, this book starts off with a lot of promise. I did feel in the beginning it took a little to get some traction and get into action but once it delivered it made me want to read more and more. I could not put the book down! The last pages of this sample hold a lot of promise for the rest of the book and offers an outlook of action and tense moments that will continue forcing the reader to want to read more.

How do I begin such a review after that ending? I knew this series would be a favorite from the first chapter. Through it all, I’ve laughed, cried, and cheered our heroes/heroines on. I knew this last installment would be a whirlwind of feels; it did not disappoint. While I’m sad it’s over, this series will forever be a comfort read. Brigid is an extremely talented, created author. I can’t wait to see where she’ll take us next.

I recieved a complimentary arc from Netgalley in exchange for an hobest review.
It was also a SAMPLER for the book and not the whole book.
On top of that, I had no idea this was a trilogy series when I picked it. So, I don't have much to say but I am interested in picking up the first book and starting from there. I feel a little bad for my lack of research, which lead to me be spoiled by the first 4 chapters, but it was engaging.
Three stars for now and will pick up the series.

This was only a preview of the book. I was so excited when I thought this book was an ARC but this is just the first 4 chapters. I will read it definitely!

This chapter sampler was the perfect size to whet my appetite for the final book in this trilogy. It reminded me of exactly what is so great about each character, how complex and interesting this world is, and how high the stakes are. I am looking forward to getting my hands on this book!

Interesting premise. Likable/hated characters. Cool plot. I would recommend this story to others. Some spots I found that didn't hold my attention, but overall, I still liked it.

These first 4 chapters are amazing and I absolutely cannot wait to read the full book since it came out today!

Thank you Netgalley and Bloomsbury for sharing a four chapter expert for one of the most anticipated books of this year.
This is only an expert of the final book in the series and yet I loved every minute of it. Can't wait to get my hands on this one.

Since this is a sample of a few chapters, I won't be posting a full review of this book until it releases later this month and I get to read the full book. I loved this preview and I've been posting about this upcoming release though! I'm very excited to see how this series ends!

This excerpt has me incredibly excited for book three in this exciting trilogy. In my mind there is nothing more satisfying than a successful conclusion to a series and as old enemies arise and new battles occur this promises to be a thrilling adventure!

Well this was only an excerpt so I only got to read 4 chapters and it was not even the first 4, after the third it goes to chapter 9 but what I read I loved. I am definitely buying this book as soon as it comes out because I loved the first 2 books and they were top reads for me, this is definitely a must read for me.

This is a short 4 chapter preview of the book, A Vow So Bold and Deadly. Each chapter of from a different perspective of the main characters of the series. I loved getting to see everyone again and getting a little piece of their minds. We get the set up for the rest of the book. I’m so excited to actually read the entirety of it! Love the book and love the series!

Thank you to NetGalley and Bloomsbury YA for this awesome preview of A Vow So Bold and Deadly! I loved reading every moment of these four preview chapters and am even more excited to finally get to read the whole thing! I loved picking back up where we left off and getting to see the perspectives of all four main characters. Cant wait to read it all!

I received this and as an eARC to read for free in exchange for my honest review. Thank you to NetGalley and Bloomsbury USA Children's Books for giving me access.
I don't know why I do this to myself. This excerpt certainly did the job of sucking me back into Emberfall. Thankfully this is just about to be published so I can read the rest!

Such a great start to this third installment! Can't wait to read the full book. The characters continue to surprise me, and I love how the shifting points-of-view keep the narrative and the action moving.

It’s impossible to review a book based on a short sample, but if the first two books are anything to go by, this will be exciting and heart-breaking. It’s definitely onto a good start, and the cliff-hanger at the end of Lia’s chapter ensures that I’ll have to read the full book the moment it is published. I don’t know how it’ll be brought to a satisfying conclusion, but I’m definitely going to find out.

I have been anxiously waiting for Kemmerer's third book in the "Cursebreakers" series, since the second I finished the second book, in fact. Although my advanced reader copy was only an excerpt, I can see that I will not be disappointed with the story.
The last time we saw our heroes, Grey had returned to Ironfell to confront his younger brother Rhen (previously the man he had sworn an oath to protect as the commander of his guard). Rhen, clearly still suffering some PTSD after the magical curse that trapped him for hundreds of years in his castle, is unable to accept Grey’s presence in his life. Even his beloved Harper cannot sway his opinion, choosing instead to fight against any instance of magic in his kingdom.
I was immediately excited that this story returns both Rhen and Harper's perspectives, something that I sorely missed in the last book even if I did understand the author’s choice to remove them from the narrative. I think Grey might be one of my favorite fantasy characters of all time. His cold and stiff demeanor seems so at odds with the man who lays his coat down in the snow so that small children can have something warm to stand on -- the man who took a thirteen-year-old kid under his wing to protect.
I have already purchased the third book and am incredibly excited to read the rest when it comes out on January 26th.

The sample chapters, one from each perspective, were so good! I can’t wait to read the whole thing. I’m in love with this series.

Although I can’t truly rate this as it was only the first four chapters, I can say I loved what I read. I can’t wait to read the full book. I absolutely love this series
