This was a chapter sampler and honestly it was such a tease! I love this series so much! I'm rooting for Grey, he's my favourite character and cannot wait to see how all of this ends!

This was a great teaser! Very excited to read the rest when it's released. Kemmerer's series has been such a breath of fresh air in the YA fantasy retelling market—I love her unique twists on the story and how much original storytelling has come out in later books (including this one). There's not too much to go off of in this sampler/teaser, but I can tell it's going to be epic!

This was only an excerpt, so I can't give a full review as of yet. However, I am so freaking excited after reading this that I have already pre-ordered this book. I'm guessing I will fly through this on the day it is released! Anticipating this will be a 5 star read for me.

While this is only a four-chapter sampler, these chapters pick up where A Heart So Fierce and Broken leaves off. Kemmerer weaves together the four voices of her main characters, Rhen, Harper, Grey, and Lia Mara, focusing mainly on two voices for the entire book a difference from the previous two. If readers have missed being in Harper's and Rhen's heads, they will surely be excited to rejoin them. I will continue to be excited to be in Commander/Prince Grey's head as we find out the exciting conclusion to this series. Will Lia Mara succeed in her pursuits for a peaceful kingdom? Will Grey find a place in the world where he is happy? Will Rhen see reason or continue to court the whims of Lilith? Where will Harper's loyalties lie in the final moments if a line is drawn? This book promises to be an allnighter based on this sampler.

Upon finishing A Heart So Fierce and Broken I could not wait to find out what happens next in the lives of Rhen, Harper, Grey, and Lia Mara. I loved having the opportunity to read these four chapters and felt like they were the perfect teaser for A Vow So Bold and Deadly. I am excited to see how everything plays out in the rest of the book.

I'm so excited for this book and the sampler just made me more eager. I have no idea how this is going to be resolved, but I am along for the ride.

"A Vow So Bold And Deadly" is told from the perspectives of four major characters in the series - Grey, Harper, Rhen, and Lia Mara, and this excerpt shares one of each of their chapters. I think that the alternating points of view will give readers a lot more insight about what's going on in the plot, and I like how we get to learn each character's perspective on things. The chapters included in this excerpt were spaced out quite a bit, so I was slightly confused about the plot due to the story skipping around, but overall, I still found it pretty easy to understand what was going on, and I can't wait to read the full story once it comes out.

Even though this excerpt of A Vow So Bold and Deadly is only four chapters from the POV of the four main characters, my excited for this book has multiplied tenfold. I absolutely loved A Curse So Dark and Lonely and A Heart So Fierce and Broken and I can't wait to read how this story will unfold in A Vow So Bold and Deadly.

A Vow So Bold and Deadly is the third and last installment in the Cursebreakers series by Brigid Kemmerer. And it promises to be one of my favorite series once finished. Is it January 26th yet?!

Very nice preview of this book! I'm excited to get my hands on the full copy. The adventure continues and it is so very good!

okay so. i got a read now earc of this on netgalley, not realising that a) it was the third book in a series, or b) that it was a sampler edition. so yeah, that was clever of me. i decided that i'd read the sampler (which was made up of a load of blank pages and then the first four chapters) anyway, and it was ok, though obviously i'm sure i didn't get the full impact by not having read the first 2 books, which, to be honest, i doubt i'll be doing anytime. i don't have masses more to say here, but thank you to the publishers and netgalley for providing me with the earc in exchange for an honest review, and to those of you awaiting the third cursebreakers book – i hope you enjoy it.
