I can’t wait for the release of A Vow So Bold and Deadly! Thank you Netgalley for bing me the opportunity to read the first few chapters.

i normally don't read excerpts because i hate getting a sample and not having the rest ready. same thing happened with this one - loved it, hated that it was only an excerpt! want, need, desperate for more!

A Vow So Bold and Deadly by Brigid Kemmerer is the third book in the Cursebreakers series. This ARC is a sampler of four chapters of the new book. There are chapters from each of the four main characters' perspectives: Harper, Rhen, Grey, and Lia Mora. While this excerpt was great, I can't wait to read the whole book. I figured this book was going to be amazing because I LOVED the first two, but after getting that little sample, I am literally drooling for more. I love how the book draws the first two together by using all four POVs. I love being able to see POV from all four characters and feeling what they feel. Although this was only a sample, I know this book will be a 5 star for me, as I felt both the other two were. January 26th can’t get here soon enough!

Just a small sample!

I wasn’t too happy to find out I just got a sample of the book it is 4 very small chapters. I am one that never reads long excerpts or if a writer has a chapter available early on, I never read it. I want to read the whole book at once. Though since I grabbed this from Netgalley I figure I have to honor my commitments and do at least somewhat of a review.

The sample definitely whet my appetite for the book. It has all our favorite characters Rhen, Harper, Grey and Lia Mara. It also has Iisak the scraver, Harper’s brother Jake and Tycho. It basically takes off where A Heart so Fierce and Broken left things. Rhen and Grey are on opposite sides. I will read the book, but I am not sure when I will get to it. Though I can’t wait to find out how things turn out.

The sample was not enough to give a rating so I am not putting any stars on this in Goodreads, but I have to for Netgalley, so I am giving it a 4 based on hope.

This was a great teaser! As depressing as it was that there were only four chapters in the excerpt, it did a great job of ensuring that I’ll be counting down the days until I can read the entire book.

I was a little sad to see this was only an excerpt but it only got me more pumped for the book to finally release! If it’s anything like A Heart So Fierce and Broken, I fully expect this one to blow me away!

This series is one of my favorite series of all time. Kemmerer's writing is superb and her characterization is flawless. Her plot twists are always ones I don't see coming. I cannot wait for the full version of this story to come out so we can find out what happens to our favorite characters. This started out as a Beauty and the Beast retelling and turned into so much more than I bargained for.

This was such a great excerpt and I am looking forward to the entire book! I love these characters and the story!

Brigid Kemmerer's writing is lush and richly detailed. This excerpt suggests that there is more--much more--to learn about Emberfall and those who struggle to rule its kingdoms. I'm counting the days until I can read the complete novel!

After devouring the first two books of this trilogy, and now the first four chapters from each character, I cannot wait to read the rest of this book. Emberfall and Syll Shallow are on the brink of war and Lillith is back. There is so much tension radiating between the characters, particularly Rhen and Harper, and as my favourite pairing, I hope it is resolved by the end of the book.
This extract of A Vow So Bold and Deadly has made me even more excited to delve back into this world and discover what happens.

It makes sense that book three will have all four points of view. I am curious how will everything will play out. I enjoyed book one more than book two but will see how the conclusion of the story in book three will be. This sample didn't give much away.

This book is going to be amazing; I can already tell. Kemmerer has a way of pulling you into the story and connecting you with these characters. I can't wait for more!

I read only the first 4 chapters of every character's POV so I don't really know what I'll write here. I am anticipating for this book so bad! Lia Mara's chapter was a cliff hanger so Im very nervous about what's going to happen. Who'll die? Who will win the war? So many questions and days for this release. All in all I am very excited for the finished copy! This is definitely a book everyone should read!

This was a lovely excerpt! I am eager to see what happens with our four main characters, particularly between Harper and Rhen! Can't wait to get my copy next year and read the full book!

Brigid Kemmerer is a treasure and never disappoints and I cannot wait to read the third installment in this series. I can tell it's going to blow everyone away!

I absolutely couldn't wait for this book before and now, after reading the first chapter, I need the rest. I am so excited! It's all going to come together in this book!

I have to be honest, in book 2, I wasn't the biggest fan of Syhl Shallow but this excerpt has be even more excited and embracing a party of the story I wasn't sure I was going to like. And I realized that I truly love all of these characters, and I can't wait to see where they end up.

A vow so bold and deadly is the third installment in the Cursebreakers series, which is a retelling of beauty and the beast. I have received the excerpt and I’m happy to see my favorite characters Rhen and Harper again. Readers will be in a treat as the story slowly unfolds all the secrets and reveals the answers. I’m sure this is go to be mind blowing like part 1.
