This was a great teaser fort the final book in this amazing series! I love these characters and this world and can't wait to get on my hand on the full novel when it comes out!

Just a preview of each POV chapter. Thrilled to have Harper back. Unhappy at the continued lack of communication between her and Ren. But clearly I’m going to read the whole book.

When I requested this, I thought it was the full arc instead of a sampler. I see now that it was clarified in the summary, but I apparently missed that when requesting. The writing in the sampler feels a bit bland. I don't feel as invested in the characters as I did when I read the first two books. I think what irritates me the most is that the entire plot for book three hinges on miscommunication, which is my least favorite trope.

Super excited to get to read this novel! The third book in the series and where all the tension seems to come to a head. I’m excited to see where the character stories go and from the few chapters I’ve been given to read early, it seems like we are in for an interesting read!

This 4 chapter sample was enough to remind me why I enjoy this series so much - great characters, magic and lots of angst. I can't wait to read the complete story and spent more time with Grey, Lia Mara, Rhen and Harper.

I can only judge it by the teaser I had, but I did help me decide and preorder.

Characters we came to love find the path to each other. Relatable and loveable, utterly human and brilliantly written story that is full of twists and turns, heartache and happiness! Can't wait!

I really enjoyed the excerpt and cannot wait to get back into this world and find out how this series continues.

The end of the fourth chapter has me wanting more and I can’t wait for the full books release!

I want more of Rhen and Harper in this third book. I need more of that angst between them and this seems like it will include more of that.

I am also very excited to see what happens with Lia Mara and her people: how they respond to her rule. That girl needs to harden herself a bit more and not rule so softly.

I am hopeful for this third book and I need it now!!

This sampler was beyond amazing!!! It makes me want to read the book so much more! I’ve read both A Curse So Dark & Lonely and A Heart So Fierce & Broken. Easily my favorite reads of the year. While it is a beauty and the best retelling, it is also so much more. I can tell book three is going to be packed with all sorts of action with lots of heart breaking decisions that must be made. Can’t wait to read! Highly recommend!

Fun excerpt that displays what is to come. I will certainly be buying this one when it comes out. This sampler leaves you begging for more. Though, I feel that this story probably should have been a stand alone, Kemmerer's writing will certainly bring me back to this world.

This novel is one I have been eagerly awaiting since I read the final pages of A Curse So Dark and Lonely! I can't wait for the completed book and strongly recommend it to others!
