aghhhh

this was a horrible decision on my part. I binged the first two books in three days about a month ago.. 4 chapters??? this was so short!!! can't wait for the rest. it'll be interesting to see how she does with 4 narrative perspectives.

I devoured this excerpt. It does a great job setting up the conflict we left off with with A Heart so Fierce and Broken. It also sets up the characters and what they will face in this book: Grey (who is so swoony) preparing to challenge Rhen for the throne, Rhen grappling with impending war and being controlled by Lillith, Harper with her conflicted feelings about Rhen and Grey and the distance in her relationship, and Lia Mara, who struggles to be her own Queen despite the expectations of those around her.
I am dying for this book and to be in this world again with these characters. If there is a digital or even physical ARC available, I'd love to be considered for it.

I am so excited about this third and final installment. Getting this sneak peek was torture but only got the anticipation rising.
