A very dark and chilling read! Heather has returned home to burry her Mother who died as a result of suicide. Nothing about her Mom’s death makes sense and Heather is determined to solve the catastrophic, horrific mystery. As the story unfolds the reader is gripping the book, attempting to figure out exactly how the twisted story will unfold . I would definitely recommend reading this psychological thriller.

I really liked this book! It’s about a woman who’s mother dies and she finds some letters that raise some serious questions about her own life. There is a serial killer also on the lose and Heather sets out to find out how they are all connected.
Ended up a little confused by a couple of things at the end and wasn’t blown away by her mothers reason for writing all these years: so only 4 stars not 5.
Was a good thriller though that kept me guessing and would recommend

Wow! This is a must read chill feast, which is completely unputdownable!!! I love the story line, it was original, scary, and shocking! Character development was some of the best I’ve seen! While, original, it is also very realistic in my honest opinion, which I loved! An unputdownable thrill ride full of chills to the bone, twists that cause whip lash, and shocks that’ll make you gasp! Keeps you in a choke hold throughout the entire book! Can not recommend enough, as this was one of the mind blowing reads, I’ll not quickly forget! Preorder today, clear schedule, and plan to lose sleep in order to finish, as it’s not a multi-sitting read, but one you’ll find yourself lost in!

Will miss around platforms and use lower Amazon reviewer number on release date!

AMAZING!

Heather’s mother dies and what she finds in the attic leads her down a dark path....

I could not stop reading this book once I started. Definitely a book to read if you are interested in serial killers and love thrillers. I kept trying to solve everything but the reveal near the end completely caught me off guard. It is definitely a book that will keep you interested until the last page.

I finished this book is less than 24 hours. It grabbed me from the beginning and didn’t let go until the end. After her mother’s sudden passing, Heather is left to make final arrangements. But there is something off about everything and Heather, a journalist, can’t help but to dig deeper. I read this book while staying in a secluded cabin and it added so much to the atmosphere. It’s gripping, thrilling, and scary in all the best ways. Haunted woods, folk tales and urban legends. I look forward to more thrillers from Jen Williams.

This book was so scary it’s so good to read at the same time. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes a psychological thriller that’s a little bit on the scary side.

Heather Evans returns home after the suicide of her mother and is shocked to find a huge stack of mail from one of the nation’s most notorious serial killers. The Red Wolf, as the press dubbed Michael Reeve gruesomely murdered several women across the country. Reeve has always claimed he was innocent, but no one ever listened. Except for Heather’s mother, and now when another young woman is killed in the same ritualistic fashion, it would appear she might have been right. The only way Heather can find peace and accept that her mother committed suicide (if she, in fact, did) is to look into the eyes of Michael Reeve, the Red Wolf, himself
