Ohh Joe..

I want to say so much about this book!! But I will refrain until April.

After another move, Joe is now an intern in a library in a small CEDAR-COVE-ish town, where Mary Kay is the librarian and, naturally, Joe's next interest. On the outside, we now meet a kinder, more patient Joe, but on the inside he still has his same humor and sharp-tongue that we have come to know and love. Mary Kay and her Meerkat (her teenage daughter) may be making things hard for Joe, but don't you worry, because Joe always gets what he wants and it's still turns out that's it a bad idea to get in his way, whether he is changed man or not.

I loved You and I loved Hidden Bodies, but not as much as You. Now with this third book I am back to the full level of love and excitement that I had in the beginning! Joe's inner dialogue, as usual, just makes you want to keep reading and the twists and turns in this one make for an interesting ride.. I can't wait for this book to come out and see the responses and discussions!

This was actually a wish that the publisher granted and I have never been more excited! Thank you to Random House and NetGalley for this eARC!

If You or Hidden Bodies didn't break your heart just a little for Joe Goldberg, You Love Me most certainly will.

This time around, Joe finds himself in the Pacific Northwest. But where is Love? You'll figure it out as you get sucked back into Joe's world.

When Joe finds himself falling for librarian Mary Kay DiMarco, he knows he can't afford to screw this up. Mary Kay is the real deal, but she comes with baggage. Ane once again, Joe gets more than he bargained for.

WOW, you guys. I was so excited for this book and Caroline Kepnes did not disappoint. Joe is still his creeper self but the character development Kepnes invested in him is just outstanding. There are so many unexpected twists and turns as none of the characters are at all what they seem! And the way the ending is written, there is definite potential for a fourth book. 😁

I'm honored to have gotten my hands on an advance digital copy through NetGalley. I'll make sure that all of my friends who enjoyed the first two books in the You series check this one out when it drops in April.

Joe is back! I’d be lying if I say that I didn’t miss him. There’s nothing quite as unendingly entertaining as the psycho inner monologue of Joe Goldberg. But hey, nothing is ever his fault. He is innocently hiding in bathrooms and holding people in cages in his basement and it’s always THEIR FAULT.

I’m with you, Joe. Let me speak right to you. People are manipulative pieces of crap when it comes right down to it, they are always taking advantage of you. You are a good man. You took us through another harrowing display of how weak other people are, how uncommitted they are. It’s pretty easy for me to cheer for you because deep down I know you love me, The reader. The one who always has your back.

It’s a good thing Caroline Kepnes knows how to keep us hooked on Joe. He’s not innocent, and yet we want him to be. He loves books! He will kill for you! I find these books fascinating. I find the voyeuristic, narcissistic and horrible stuff Joe does totally enjoyable. It’s bad in the same way donuts are bad but you wouldn’t refuse donuts, would you? I want endless Joe Goldberg binges and not have it go to my thighs. 🍩

Thank you Netgalley and Random House for this gifted copy.

This was the first book in the series that I read... and wow! Joe is written so well. He's creepy and awkward and seems to always end up doing the wrong thing, yet I somehow found myself on his side and hopeful for him! I will definitely be checking out other books by this author - very interesting character development!

It takes me a while to get into a groove with Caroline's book. But not in a bad way! Just in a Joe Goldberg kinda way. Joe has his own rhythm and it takes me a second to catch on to his beats. But once I do, damn the melody is amazing! I'm right back into the mind of Joe.

In this book we get a "Good" Joe and it's something totally different from the past Joe. He is trying his best to do the right thing in his eyes but gets tested at every turn. I give him credit. I thought he would have snapped several times. To be honest, I was hoping he would.

There were a couple twist I didn’t expect to see happen and I really enjoyed them. Some felt a little off but they worked because we are talking about Joe and his life here lol.
To me, this book was very slow paced and at times a little boring for the first half of the book. It felt like I read this twice before with not much difference. BUT....the second half steps it up some. Joe seems to be getting hit from every single angle. Good Joe is ok and I'm glad we got to see him this way but I can't lie, I got so hyped up when I read.....IT'S TIME TO GO HARD!!! YES , JOE!!!! GET THEM ALL.

The side characters annoyed me. I wanted to reach inside the book and smack a couple. I have a feeling we are going to see more of someone...maybe, maybe not.

Overall, I did enjoy this book. I just expected more. I am really looking forward to watching it l come to play in the TV series.

Come back to me "Bad Joe". I need more of you in my life!

I love the You series and this book was different than I was expecting, but I still enjoyed it. I was hoping for more psycho Joe, but there's a lot of trying to be the good man Joe lol. It wasn't as good as the first 2 books, but I still liked it and I am hoping we get another You book because I love Joe Goldberg!

One of my most anticipated reads and I was not disappointed!

In traditional Joe fashion, You Love me is fast paced, instantly captivating and a rollercoaster ride of emotional, psychological and traumatizing events that keep the reader begging for more.

We all need a little more Joe in our lives!

Though this does not come out until next April, when I received an early copy from Netgalley and Random House, I HAD to read it right away! I have been in Joe Goldberg limbo and I needed to see just what was happening in his twisted world.

Joe has moved to an island outside of Seattle and no surprise, he found the one he will love forever. Love has their son Forty and her family paid him off to leave them alone so what's a Joe to do? In walks Mary Kay, the librarian. Books! We all know his love of books. Mary Kay loves books. She also has a teenage daughter who is definitely in her teen angsty years. Joe works all the angles, as always, and he swears he is not going to kill anyone ever again.....

I love being in Joe's head. The way he twists and turns his way in and out of situations. Boy, are there some situations. You have grown to expect them. I don't know what it is about Joe that makes you root for him even though you know he is not really a good guy. He tries, in his way. This is another great chapter in Joe's life. I can't wait to see what happens next. I can wait to hear the names Murakami and Lemonhead again. (Read it. You will understand)

Thanks to Netgalley and Random House for an advance copy of this carnival ride.

Excellent!!!!
Amazingly disturbing and addictive.
We get a front row seat to the workings of the mind of a sociopath that we get to like, even care about the dire situations he’s involved in.

Another great addition to the “you” series. I actually think I liked this book the best of all three and I cannot wait for the fourth one. Joe is back, and as usual, we can’t help but be on his side. Even if he is a little… Special. He’s met the real love of his life, he just has to make sure she knows it… but anyone and everyone is getting in the way of that. This time, Joe will be the good guy. He will do the right thing. It’s not his fault that people keep dying. Read it!

First of all, thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for access to this ARC.

Hey Joe. It’s been a while. I’ve definitely missed your antics.

Going into this I was just praying it was better than the second book and thankfully that was the case here. Joe is at his “best” when he has a singular pursuit. This is definitely reminiscent of the first book in a good way.

The ending was great and shocking and the last 10% of this book flew by. Where I struggle with this is that I keep finding myself rooting for Joe to have a happy ending and I have to keep reminding myself that he’s a bad guy. Caroline just breathes such life into him and it’s hard not to root for him. Joe is a person that leaves destruction in his wake wherever he goes. He’s toxic and destroys the lives of everyone he comes into contact with whether intentional or not.

I don’t think this book could have had a different ending for Joe. I enjoyed reading this very much and hope to get more Joe in the future.

I received in advance for you just copy in exchange for an honest review.

Wow – this book was a bit of a slow burn but the drama heats up and that last half is a crazy crash until it finally goes off the rails. These people are scary, and not in the horror movie sense of the word. This will definitely have you sleeping with one eye open when you let a charming man into your life.

I read YOU LOVE ME in a day, which is incredibly rare because I have hardly any reading time with a newborn, but I had to know what happened!

I was particularly enthralled with the location because I live in the area and my gosh, Caroline Kepnes perfectly captured Bainbridge Island folk🤣.

Joe is just as manipulative, charming, and demented, as ever but that's why we like him. There were a few parts that I thought were a bit repetitive of You and Hidden Bodies but overall it was a thoroughly new adventure and I was only left wanting to know more about his child and Love.

Look, basically I am just going to say this: if you enjoy Joe and his second person wit and dialogue and just Joe in general– You Love Me is going to sweep you off your feet.

This book in the series was unlike the other two for me. Mainly because of the growth (yes– I feel like Joe has grown as a character) of Joe has kept me on my toes every since I first read YOU. Watching him move through his life and go about his “normal” days will always be so entertaining for me. Mainly because well, they’re normal for Joe but not for us LOL.

The first part of the book, I would say the first 30-45% of the book moved super slow. Like… slow, slow. But it does pick up and I think if you stick with it you can appreciate the slow momentum in the beginning. But I think what made this third book so good was the way Caroline wrote Joe. Seriously it doesn’t get much better than the way he converses with himself and with us, the reader.

I don't know why this book was disappointing, but it was.

While I liked the *plot* of this book, I feel the details of the book did not match my expectations on how I was going to enjoy it.

I felt like Joe was a weak adaptation of himself. He is a bad guy, a bad guy that you have to feel disgusted with and totally engrossed with at the same time. While I felt engrossed in what was going on in his life, I didn't feel disgusted. I felt very meh over everything that happened.

I felt like the author didn't explain very well on how Joe got out of jail that fast and that the transition from book two to book three felt rushed, messy.

WIll I read book four? Possible. I just felt that the author really gave it all to Joe on book two and that the only way for Joe to top all and everyone is that he ends up being involved with the president, the mafia, or the dark web. Otherwise, he ain't as scary or deranged as he used to be.

I wished for this on Netgalley and was granted my wish. Thank you so much to Netgalley and Random House !

I have been patiently waiting for book three to come out and was so excited to read this. It was so easy to jump back into Joe's story! I loved book one so much that I had to buy book 2 the day it published. I don't believe Hidden Bodies lived up to the hype of You, and I feel You Love me(Book#3) was better than the second but not as good as the first. Don't get me wrong, its still an awesome read, I just don't believe any in the series compares to the first one. With all of that said, I loved the first 1/3 of the book and couldn't put it down. Then Oliver arrived and I just couldn't get into his part of the storyline. However, the last few chapters tied everything up very nicely. I'd almost say for me, this would be a good ending to complete the series, but of course would not turn away a chance to read a fourth installment.

Highly recommend this entire series

Oh my gosh, I loved this book! I devoured the first two books in this series, and couldn't wait to read this one! It is even better than the first two! You cannot help but root for the bad guy in this series, he is so charming, but so evil! He makes excuses for all his ugly deeds, and they are such believable excuses. Genuinely creepy, but so fascinating!!! Loved it!!

This is an entertaining, crazy, & thrilling ride! Joe Goldberg is done with cities, done with the muck and the posers, done with Love. Now, he's saying hello to nature, to simple pleasures on a cozy island in the Pacific Northwest. He works at the library along side his new target sexy Mary Kay DiMarco. Only thing is she has a life! Mary Kay is a single mom to a teenager. Because Joe is a changed man, he is going to win her heart the old fashion way ... lol yeah right! OMG Joe, you’re still f’ing crazy! Please is there a 4th?! Thanks to Random House and NetGalley for a gifted ARC. This is my honest review.

Joe is on the move again. He went from being a New Yorker, to a laid back California dude, and now, he’s moved to a small town across the Puget Sound from Seattle. And I must say, it’s a very fitting setting for him.

I’ve read a lot of Ann Rule, and a lot of the most notorious serial killers spent some time in the Pacific Northwest. Is it the clouds and the rain? Does it soothe their dark souls? But Joe has landed a volunteer job at a library in a small town. Does it come as any surprise that he quickly fixates on a pretty librarian?

And it begins.

But it does feel like his new obsession, Mary Anne, is a good fit for him. They have a lot in common, and she’s older, wiser. Nothing like Beck or Love. And she’s a mother, so much more mature. Nevermind that she’s married to a has-been rockstar and that she is incredibly confused about what she wants.

Also, there’s Love. She’s not in the picture anymore, but she is Joe’s baby mamma. A baby he signed his rights away to, but wasn’t happy about it. There is so much going on this time around.

You Love Me is everything I wanted it to be. Joe isn’t the same guy who used to stalk Beck through the windows of her NYC apartment. He’s matured. I think he might not be as much of a psycho. Well, scratch that.

Special thanks to Netgalley and Random House for granting my wish for a free e-galley in exchange for my honest review. You guys only have to wait until April 6, then this one is out and available for public consumption! This review will be published on my blog, Women in Trouble Book Blog, on March 9, 2021

Another slam dunk! I love the You series and this one did not disappoint. This time Joe tries to be better but trouble always finds him. It so dark to be rooting for such a dangerous, stalker.
