I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher and have been very pleasantly surprised.
This book is centered around a small town in Alabama where a police chief, Jane has been living for a few years. Jane is a recovery from a Cult in the deep woods of Michigan. Jane had escaped the Cult when she was 15 with her father. Along comes Reid, her boyfriend and father to their child that Jane thought was long dead from the Cult days.
Jane is knee deep in a couple of odd murders in the town of Pelican Harbor. Her and her team are working hard to find the murderer. Meanwhile, Will, the son with Reid that Jane thought was dead, is being accused of murdering his long lost step-mother. Jane and Reid work hard to figure out what is going on and who would want to hurt their son. Charles, Jane's father is not very forthcoming on their past life in the Cult and is a very hard man to trust. They more they investigate, the more the past comes into view. Jane has 3 lost days when she was 15 and they are slowly coming back.
With the help of Reid, who has never stopped hoping for them to be a couple again, they race against time and the past to free their son.

I had been feeling a little meh about Coble's books here of late, but with this 3rd book, I'm really starting to enjoy them again! I'm a sucker for the missing memory trope, as frustrating as it can be at times. I really enjoyed the twist and how dark this book could get. I'm not sure if there are going to be more in the series, but I'm definitely looking forward to them! This book is very fast paced, and I flew through it. Definitely recommend for Coble fans, or those looking for a domestic/police style mystery.

This is the third installment in Coble's Harbor Point series. it's full of romance, family drama, and secrets. Characters are well developed, and there are ample twists to keep the reader engaged. There's a religious angle, but it's not preachy. This book could probably be read as a standalone, but I'd suggest reading the books in order. "Three Missing Days" is a nice way to wrap-up the series.

THREE DAYS MISSING.......Coleen...Coble
Seven calls from an old phone behind the drugstore, the detective said it was now to be removed. Did the person know of her investigation, Gail worked at home and no near neighbors, and a angry ex husband who owed her money.
Chief of Police Jane with angry words to Lauren, her ex husband Reed was father to her son’s Will . A tangled mess of finding out they.were alive. now stating they were still married and entitled to half. Secrets he never told Jane, saying it was in her best interest.
The cult was still a threat, Gabriel now telling Jane , her mother was missing for three days, she had some stuff he wanted back Photos and Jane remembers nothing of them. Asking Reid and he does, he thought her mom might of given her drugs, she had little value of life.
A plot that is thick with secrets, hurt feeling, lies, and murder. Families that have been broken. Jane wonders if there is any hope for Reid, Will and her again. Investigation and accusation against her son.
Given ARC by Netflex..and Thomas Nelson for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.

Three Missing Days by Colleen Coble With a religious viewpoint, the third book in the Harbor Point series is a story of romance, family, secrets, lies and finding answers. Resolution to various story lines come to a satisfactory conclusion at the end of the book. With well developed characters and a twisty plot, the book is an entertaining read.

Thank you to the publisher, author, and NetGalley for the opportunity to preview the book.

This book is a fantastic conclusion to the series. The tension is high and corkscrews tighter with each chapter. Both Jane and Reid have significant opportunities walk away from their faith but choose to stay committed to God. Add in complex family relationships, mysteries from the past colliding with tragedies today, and you have a book that will leave readers deeply satisfied. Highly recommend!

I couldn’t wait to read this book. I have loved Jane, Reid and Will from book one . Having escaped a cult and finding her son and husband after 15 years is just where this series begins for Jane. However, someone from her past wants revenge and frames her 15 year old son for murder.
I cried happy tears and sad tears and I held on-tight for every twist and turn.

“ Keep walking the dark path, God will show up”.

I have love these characters from book one, and while this is the third book in a series and you could probably read it as a standalone, this is a story that needs to be told from the beginning. I wish this series was longer than these 3 books.... hint, hint !
It was from reading this series that introduced me to this author and this author has quickly moved to the top of my TBR list every time!

This was an engaging and fast-paced suspense novel that had religious and romantic overtones.

Police chief Jane has to catch an arsonist and murderer while also trying to prove her son's innocence. Along with this, is the issue of the three missing days in her past which has come back to haunt her and may once and for all decide her fledgling relationship with Reid.

While my curiousity kept me reading, I didn't enjoy much of the book owing to the fact that this book was a sequel and I had not read the previous books. Despite the well-developed characters and solid plot, having to guess much of the backstory put a damper on my reading experience. I hope to enjoy this one better once I have read the other books in the series.

This is part 3 in the Pelican Harbour series. I recommend reading the rest of the series before starting this as it builds upon previous series and you will lose some of the nuance of the book if you don't. I read this book fairly quickly as I really wanted to know what was going to happen next.

It was great that we got resolution of the various story lines at the end of the book. I liked the suspensefulness of the book and that I couldn't figure out the 'bad guy' at the beginning of the book. Overall, it was good book and worth the time I spent reading it - you'll enjoy it too.

I was given a free copy of the book by NetGalley from Thomas Nelson. The opinions in this review are completely my own.

This is the third book in a series. While you can read this without first reading the other books, there are so many details that are hard to understand if you’ve not read the other books. This is a clean story about finding answers. Someone is framing another person for murder, and past secrets must be revealed. This was not a favorite for me.

The third and final book in the series! While the relationships and their growth in this book definitely did not disappoint (I have loved watching the realistic relationship between Reid and Jane develop alongside the relationship between Jane and Will), I was a little let down by the "twist" in the plot. I was hyped for more than actually came about.

However, I was still enthralled in the book, wondering who had framed Will, if Will would really have to face the death penalty, and if justice would ever actually come to light. You felt the pain of Reid and Jane as parents helpless to save their only child from evil. You felt the injustice of the false accusations that Will was facing. It was a wonderful web of deceit that they had to untie, and it made for quite an interesting story.

I'm so glad I stumbled upon this series! I will definitely be reading more by Colleen Coble if I can get my hands on any more of her books. I highly recommend this series by her especially! Hopefully I'll be able to give you my personal opinion of her other books at a later time...

**Though this book was given to me as an advanced reader copy in exchange for a review, all thoughts and opinions expressed here are completely my own.**

This is a religious romantic suspense and is the third book in this series it is better if you read the two previous books but will stand on its own. Jane was raised in a cult and has 3 days missing from her memories. Jane is the police chief and has to find evidence that her teenage son is being framed for murder.

THREE MISSING DAYS is the third novel in the Pelican Harbor series by COLLEEN COBLE. The whole series is outstanding, and I recommend that you read the books in sequence, but Three Missing Days can be read as a stand alone. It is a suspense filled thriller with quite a bit of romance. The characters are unforgettable and I am really sorry to say goodbye to them, having followed them since reading One Little Lie. The author writes her stories based on Christian truths, which really enhances her books.
Jane Hardy, the chief of police in Pelican Harbor, and Reid Dixon, have a fifteen year old son Will, who is charged with murder. It is obvious that he has been set up, but the question is by whom and for what reason?
It is imperative that Jane remembers what happened during three missing days in her childhood, especially when a militant group from a cult connected to her past are found camping on an island close by, led by an unscrupulous man who wants information from her. She feels that this, together with two deaths in a house fire, are somehow connected to Will's case.
I am not going to tell you any more as I do not want to spoil things for you, but I guarantee that you will not be able to put the book down until you have read the last page. Three Missing Days is an exciting and enjoyable read and one I cannot recommend highly enough.
I was given a free copy of the book by NetGalley from Thomas Nelson. The opinions in this review are completely my own.

I try not to miss any of Colleen Coble’s books, and this story confirms what I already know about anything she write. I was drawn into this story almost from page one, and it turned out to be a book I hated to put down for any reason. The main characters are a lovable family, and you can’t help but want the best for them. I would love to visit Pelican Harbor and the people in this book. Don’t miss this book if you like a good clean mystery with lots of plot twists. I received an arc of this book from NetGalley and the publisher. All opinions expressed are my own.
