Small town sweet romance. This is the first in a series and is every bit as sweet as you think it’s going to be.

It’s a good beach read or brain cleanser. You’ll be smiling the whole time so it’s definitely a feel good book as well. The characters are relatable which is something I always really like.

I look forward to more from this author.

I want to thank Netgalley and the author for gifting me the ebook. A cute romcom. If you like Hallmark type story plots you will love this.

A fast, fun read which is very touching, too. The author has a knack for painting a clear picture of the characters and I loved the way they interacted.

This was such a cute story! It was an easy quick read about a widowed mom on a quick grocery trip and runs into Ian, where everything seems to change from there. It was again so cute and i’m glad I finally got around to reading it! Charlotte had a lot of character development from beginning to end, it was such a refreshing read!

This was a very easy, romantic read I would recommend to those who love a cute and fun romantic story to read. I liked the characters and I found it to be well written!

Cute story, but I'll admit I mainly 'cruised along' as it was an easy read and the nagging feeling didn't bother me too much (the heroine is a little immature, and the old ladies, who are supposed to be a bit of fun in the tale, are downright mean and more vicious than the queen bee and her posse from high school - kinda killed the vibe a bit there). But the story itself was cute, and it does make for some nice light reading to see how the romance goes

I found it to be a very easy, romantic read. The main characters were so interesting yet complicated just enough to keep me wanting more. I loved the small town setting and the small town gossip pot stirrers. Who would have thought someone could ever find live in the aisles if the local grocery store.

Received a copy of this book for review. Overall it is a good read for me. Love the chemistry between the main characters. Love all the characters. What I love is that each of them does make a difference to the story as it developed. Like to read how the characters In the story are interrelated to each other. It make the story more exciting to read. The setting of the story is nice and is fit nicely to the story.Story plot are well penned out, with a slight twist to it in the end

I thought this book was just okay. I wish Charlotte had a little more backbone, otherwise the characters were well-developed and easy to understand. I had a difficult time staying engaged, however, and need a book that pulls me in right away.

A sweet Christmas romance that will have you feeling many emotions. The heroine is persecuted by a bunch of old ladies and she never sticks up for herself. She just wants them to stop and go away and leave her alone. She has a young son to take care of and all she wants is some peace and quiet. Enter the hot bag guy at the supermarket and things suddenly get interesting, like when she is so distracted by him that she mows down a tower of DVDs.

This story will make you laugh and have you wanting to give those old ladies a piece of your mind. The characters are so interesting and the story is very well written. I absolutely loved it! It's a wonderful Christmas story that will leave you wanting more.

Charlotte Dawson is having a bad day. She shops at Alder Market on Tuesdays specifically to avoid running into Ruby Pearl, the most judgmental of the gossipy old ladies in town and her biggest non-fan. In an effort to avoid the woman, she takes refuge in the liquor section only to run into (literally) the new bag man, Ian Cleary, who is a gorgeous redhead with the most adorable freckles. Despite her klutziness, Charlotte makes as great an impression on Ian as he does to her. Over the next few weeks, these two make a connection between the aisles that has them instantly falling for each other despite their complicated issues. She’s a young widow with a four-year old son and he’s an Oscar winning Hollywood actor secretly hiding out in Sun Valley pretending to be his mother’s nephew.

The bones of this story were highly promising, which is what intrigued me to give it a try. I loved the idea of a romance developing in a grocery market from awkward encounters. Charlotte and Ian were in their late twenties and their wildly differing backgrounds made them potentially interesting characters. Unfortunately, their stories read more like the romance bewteen two high school teens and for that, I'm not the target audience. The dialogue missed the mark completely and their reactions to conflict, especially Charlotte’s, were immature and often tiresome.

The setting for the story is in Georgia and it didn’t miss trading on the most superficial of southern traditions. I’m familiar with them having lived in the South for many years so the references fell flat. Gossipy older women are a staple but the women in this story weren’t charming but downright vicious. A wonderful opportunity for a side angle was missed here, too. Again, I’m the wrong audience as others reviewing the story had better experiences so I’d compare them before making a decision. Because buried among my disappointments were some really good situational issues for two strong, very likable characters who kept me in the story.

Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for the gifted copy. I voluntarily read and am choosing to leave a review.

This is such a cute and adorable story. The GOL (gossiping old ladies) were hilarious.

I loved this book. I must warned you that this is the epitome of instalove though, and as much as I usually hate that trope, this was amazing.
Our main characters are adorable and quirky and so endearing i just couldn't help myself and fall for them. I must say though that some parts felt like could have been left out like some unnecessary drama with an ex but overall it was a nice cute little romance.
My favorite part was towards the end, I laughed out loud. It was that hilarious.
Fully recommend this feel good book for this holidays.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for the chance to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

I really wanted to like this book. The idea for the plot was so interesting, and I even liked some of the characters, but the book fell flat for me.

Love In the Aisles by Heather Van Fleet is the 1st book in the Sunrise Valley romance series, and my first book by this author. I loved this book! This book is perfect for an escape read, whether it be from the weather, pandemic or life in general. As soon as I started to read this book, I could not put it down. I laughed out loud so many times, what a spirit lifter. I will be reading more books by this author. I highly recommend this book, you won't be disappointed.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Unfortunately this book didn't work for me (however, seeing all the good reviews, I seem to be in the minority, so be sure to read other reviews before deciding!).

The story was set in a small village, where Charlotte, a widowed with a four-year-old, meets gorgeous Ian and falls instantly in love with him (to the point of not being able to utter a word even before they first speak - this kind of insta-love doesn't really work for me). They start knowing each other and they have to put up with the GOLs (gossippy old ladies) of the town (which were also a bit much for my liking).

As a good point. I liked a lot a secondary character, Charlotte's sister.
