Thanks netgalley for the book in exchange for an opinion.
Molly is fabulous.
This is a lovely book full of impactful ideas to help us feel more confident, happy and at peace. It is one I’ll return to again and again. 50 isn’t enough I could do with more wisdom.

I have been going through a bit of a tough patch following a recent close family bereavement and this book helped me focus on things that are more positive and it helped me think of different ways to change my ways of thinking.

I liked the quotes that were chosen, the book was a short read with me being able to read it in one sitting but I loved it and would definitely recommended it to anyone who is suffering from anxiety, stress, low mood or questioning their self-worth.

It is a book that encourages you to look at your positives, you can do this and you can build your confidence – you just need a bit of faith and it gives a few hints and tips and ways to change your thoughts.

It is 5 stars from me for this one, I loved the positive and uplifting nature of the books – just what I needed to read at the moment – very highly recommended!!

Say Yes to Yourself by Molly Burford is a non-fiction title written to help the reader find their own inner power to vocalize and take space in their daily life. The book is easy to read and less academic of a style. The writing reads a bit like motivational posts and can be harder for truly applying some of the skills after reading. I recommend this book for those looking for a brief reminder that can easily refer to that frames things positively.

Where are my 2021 goal getters?! “Say Yes to Yourself” by Molly Burford is the book for you! Burford gives a variety of helpful tips for saying yes to you and reaching your goals in a fresh way.

I think the thing I loved the most about this book is it’s bite-sized nature. You could read one tip a day, or randomly open to a page, or flip to the tip that you need in a specific moment. Each segment is short and sweet, but also encouraging and motivating. The tips are quick and easy to implement, the real question is whether or not you maintain them.

In the end, this self-empowering book got 4 stars from me. It wasn’t detailed, but it gave quick tips and tricks to help you with whatever 2021 throws your way.

Thanks to NetGalley and Adams Media for the ARC in exchange for my honest review!

I loved this! So many get-yourself-going books feel tired and dont share new tactics. This book, however, shares bite-sized goodies that feel attainable AND new! The quotes, the illustrations, the language is so engaging. Such a fun, helpful book!

Due to some formatting issues some parts of this book did not make sense but this is an I corrected proof “Skype READ family MORE”. Aside from that, this book was full of useful advice on helping yourself to better yourself, there was emphasis on positive and negative self talk which I found interesting, sometimes this can seem cringeworthy but Burford’s attitude was refreshing and made it sound appealing. I’ve found this advice to be useful already in the weeks since reading it and know that I’ll revisit these ideas often as I progress towards the life that I want to live.

This book came onto my path at the right moment. I learned a lot about self-care from this book and will try to practice it as much as possible. In times like these, I think that books like this one are even more important than they are at other times. I highly recommend you read this book if you're struggling with yourself and want to find more techniques to make time for yourself and 'Say Yes to Yourself'!

4.5 stars.

I was happily surprised and pleased with this book. I had worried that it was going to be written in a way that it was very text book style but it wasn't. It had quotes throughout and the writing was displayed in a fun way so I didn't get bored with it. Plus, the information that it contained was really quite helpful and useful. I would definitely recommend this.

This self-care pocketbook is a quick and easy read. The author presents tips and facts in a simple form. I like the design of this book – fonts, layout, images, and quotes are excellent. Even though this is a pocketbook, there is a lot of useful information about self-care gathered here.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this! All opinions are my own.

A book full of ideas, on how to say yes, to yourself. The book has a list of suggestions and a list on how to achieve the changes. Some of the suggestions are, becoming your own best friend, set boundaries, invest in yourself, challenge yourself etc. I enjoyed this book and plan on implementing the ideas, as well as sharing them with my daughter.

I liked the idea of this book, but there's really nothing special about this one. I mean, I've already encountered all of these exact pep talks while browsing twitter. The aesthetics are beautiful though.

Say Yes to Yourself by Molly Burford is the perfect read for anyone needing to build up their self-confidence. The author’s strength-based approach empowers the reader to make positive changes in their life. The book provides quick tips and activities that focus on empowerment, self-confidence, and self-worth. Some topics covered in this book include practicing positive self-talk, setting boundaries, reframing the narrative, and challenging yourself. I love how the author communicates that implementing the tips will look different for each individual and encourages the reader to find what works for them.

This book is designed beautifully with adorable illustrations. Additionally, the quotes printed throughout the book are a nice touch. When nearing the end of the book I noticed that some tips overlapped quite a bit and could have been combined. Otherwise, I think this is a great jumping off point in exploring self-confidence and self-empowerment. I wish this book existed when I graduated college and was looking for my first full-time job, as I was really lacking in confidence. This book would be a wonderful gift for anyone needing some encouragement.
